Is there a little trick to get the sport bra and panties to work for ikaros body? I see the outfit for it in bodyslide and build the body for it and all, but when I equip it in game, it doesn't show. And I'm choosing the outfit version for ikaros.

I ended up checking in FOedit and added ikaros race to those armor pieces just to experiment and it worked, but the skin color was a little different from mine, but not sure if it would show my skin tone or not. I use ikaros skin material so I have human skin.

Well there is an included ESP in Wardrobe8 part 1.

It has been updated at least 2 times since release, I did have an update file for a little while but opted to remove update file and just roll the changes into the 3 parts for Wardrobe 8.

So the issue may be having an earlier version of the overwrite esp.

To get outfit parts working, first you need to be wearing shoe's, shoe items have IKAROS skin color material swaps...Take the shoe over to the armor bench there you will find a IKAROS skin material swap, just select the color skin you want there.

After that your skin is matched and you just put on the panty and bra, these will fit the body implanted in the shoes.

example,

ScreenShot156.png

I just have not gone to the work bench to perform the color swap just yet, but as you can see the outfit fits the body just fine.

Note to self update the breast physics on Bra ><

Still couldn't get it to work and noticed others aren't working for some reason and I think it's because the files are all bonkers because of me. Just going to uninstall all vtaws armors and your conversions, and reinstall after making a save point in the game without them.

So just to make sure, when I download the main files from vtaw, do I just need the main file or the main file, materials file, and bodyslides files? And I'm going to start with vtaw wardrobe 8.

You need main file.

IF you want the extra textures, and they are really nice get the materials.

You dont need the Bodyslides file because you are getting that here so just making things harder on yourself or taking up more space on your PC to download the original bodyslide.

After you download the Bodyslide here, install it with your Vortex Mod Manager which I think is very similiar now to Mod Organizer these days so uh what you do is install the bodyslide file after or underneath VTAW Wardrobe 8.

Vtaw Wardrobe8

Vtaw Wardrobe8 IKAROS Bodyslide.

Make sure that my ESP is overwriting the original ESP,

Dont install original Bodyslide, only mine.

Then open your Bodyslide program, select your VTAW bodyslide groups and then select morph button and finally "build all"

Well I removed everything as planned and still having issues. I started with vtaw wardrobe 7 and installed and tested and it worked. Some reason when I install your zip, and load the game, it will say that the wardrobe8.esp is missing. Of course it's on, but just in case I uninstalled again. This time I installed vtaws wardrobe 7 with vortex as usualy and then your file I unpacked and added it manually just to make sure it was overwriting and it did, but still got the same results.

So after that I double checked on the requirements from your instructions in this forum for doing all of this and noticed the sexy armors was missing so I added it. Still no change.

Then I used FO4edit and noticed the wardrobe8.esp was grayed and lined out, I expanded it and it showed HighHeelSounds.esm was grayed out and had a line through it. So I'm assuming that means that it's a dependency that is missing. So I tried first reinstalling high heel system, then the high heel sound, and nothing. So I uninstalled the high heel sound and wardrobe 7 vtaws and your versions, reinstalled vtaws and your files, and still does the same thing. And it still shows highheelsounds.esm grayed with line through it.

So I don't know what to do, but my brain is pooped out lol. Usually I never have issues with armor mods but dammit I want this to work lol.

OH!

Right uh, do you have HighHeelSounds.ESM?

I started using this with all the mods figured people would like it.

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/45345

Just try it, if you dont have the ESM the esp wont load its probably what is happening right now, sorry about all the fuss.

Yes I did make it a requirement

It is pretty cool sounds though.

Make sure the sounds is above with your ESM's in your LO

Hello, first of all, great job with keeping atomic beauty alive with your amazing contributions, I am unfortunately having the infamous problem with seams on the wrists, is there any reliable way to fix it? Tried differents things but no luck so far. I would really appreciate help.

I have been playing with IKAROS for a long while now, have you seen her wrist seams?  :D haha just joking her wrist joint is completely different so there is no seam.

However uh that means I have not thought about a wrist seam for a long time.  When using a default body type I did notice that the CBBE had a neck seam and it was pretty bad and I did try out a lot of the bodies, Fusion Girl and TWB were not just well supported yet when I started using Atomic Beauty.

One of the factors besides the mesh itself can be the Texture's you use and it is really easy to get carried away with mixing an matching texture sets.

Textures are

the usual texture,

Normal Texture

Diffuse Texture

I think sometimes one more....

Basically what I have found is that you want all the textures to be from the same set, now you might get away with some makeup or changing pop marks to moles or somthing...

Unless you then also attempt to tell the game to use 2K textures ouch cause then everyone gets brown/black face bug sometimes this appears to be the color grey for some people, that one has to do with mismatched texture size resolutions and happens all the time when people try to use a new resolution size and have the wrong texture sizes.

Oddly enough I have answered this question in Tech Support withen the last 5 weeks or so,

The issue turned out to be that the original CBBE body had "wrist gaps", which the tech support thread was calling wrist seams!

I suppose that still qualifies but had to get pictures to understand that no amount of texture correction was going to solve that one.

At some point the only way to actually correct the seams, is to import the meshes into a program such as Blender and then bake the normal maps in...I know it sounds like I know what I am talking about here but bear in mind the last time I have made meshes in Blender was back in 2013, so I would be rusty as heck and it would take weeks maybe a month or 2 before I could put something in front of everybody that would get used in a game.

Skyrim has a program called TexBlend, pretty sure it might also be available for Fallout 4, have not used it since Skyrim Legendary Edition and even then it was early days like at least 2015 maybe earlier.  With that Texblend I fixed up some texture maps and normal maps to stop wrist seams or at least mitigate how easy it was to see in first person camera.

Texblend I believe is a part of Bodyslide suite of tools, although it might be packed seperately.

Make sure you have matching skin textures,

Look at Texblend it might be available for Fo4,

Then have a look at switching to IKAROS or another body type...Although you may find the problem is persistent across all the other body types in some form or fashion.

I honestly think it will be a texture file mismatch going on, sounds easy to fix but you can end up having these installations with so many mods that alter the skin and sometimes people get attached to a particular mod even a skin, so who knows.

On further updates,

Got no idea, darn thing is fighting with me...Even downloaded the most recent Bodyslide to work on ZAPing feet out on some sets,

It ignores being saved and I dont know what to do about it right now.

Never seen anything like it before.

Load project,

Test ZAP, does not work

Delete ZAP

Mask area to not be ZAPPED

New ZAP Slider

Test ZAP in OS, appears to work

SAVE

Load up second OS

Load up same project

Test ZAP

Does not work

Same result in Bodyslide

Do this 30 times

Try it out another way

Delete all sliders

Do it over again same result

Transfer model to a new window and do same thing again save to a different name same result

Sick of it.

So unless there is an update to Bodyslide and Outfit Studio that addresses this weird behavior, Im not doing any more fixes.

Well I updated to Win10, turned out win7 lost compatibility with Outfit Studio

So this is apparently why I was getting issues with ZAP not saving to file.

I have no idea how many people were effected by this bug, but eventually I will be updating VTAW and some early mod files where at least I saw this happening.

I have no idea about the specifics of how an operating system change would remove the issue but I did check it out just now today after having spent a couple of weeks getting ready to make the jump over to Win10 from Win7.  Never felt the need to make that change as a lot of games and utilities I use worked fine on Win7.

You may be familiar with a lot of writing I have done on the topic of Win7 and Win10 in gaming how Win10 used more RAM resources than 7 and that was a reason to hold back until well finally I got around to doing some hardware updates on my PC getting a heck of a lot more RAM than most gamers utilize to just crush the issue of Win10 being slow on my PC.

Although a motivating factor was getting a 2080ti card and wanting to use the better graphics options for my games.

I will be getting back to modding withen a week or 2, just gotta play some games.

Want to thank people that made donations to my Gamefever tag over on Nexus, it really helped take the sting out of my PC upgrades, and would like to thank MajorModder who helped me out deciding on what to upgrade on the PC.

Will be working on VTAW 7 to fix up the IKAROS footwear not properly zapping likely have it out in 1 to 2 weeks.

Not sure what to do about it at the moment.

I have added them in my own game through console commands,

ScreenShot154.png

ScreenShot155.png

So here are the Marine Wetsuit and Chest piece.

From what I can see there may be some clipping with the chest piece but otherwise its not super noticable actually.

So assuming the vanilla items are actually installed with Atomic Beauty versions should just be a matter of using the console commands, of course bear in mind that these items are not specific to IKAROS they are shared between human and IKAROS, because there is no skin showing there was no need for IKAROS only versions and I think that is where you might be running into an issue here since there are quite a few items that have IKAROS only versions but these are not so.

Hi, sorry for the very late reply. It's working now, I just kept building it through BodySlide, then one time after building it, it suddenly works. So there's that. Only now the problem is that it's stuck on the Children Of Atom skin for the armor. Still trying to figure out why, I even transferred my mods to MO2, to see if could see the problem better (I used to use Vortex. Vortex is damn near plug-and-play, but very constraintive/stiff. MO2 offers more freedom at the cost of a learning curve, for me at least). I'll check here more often, 'cause I don't have a clue that's worth a damn when it come trying to fix stuff like this.

Thanks for your help,

Cheers.

Damn, I haven't used windows 7 in a long time. Yeah outfit studio must of stopped getting support for windows 7 which I fine strange. That or maybe a little corruption on the windows 7 side and you just needed a fresh install of windows. I usually reinstall windows once a year just to make sure all files are good. Glad you got it going though.

can i skip most of the requirements if i dont want physics?

Nope, it wont function right without the physics...plenty have tried.

It is the same installation procedure as say True Wasteland Body or anything else.

Gotta install the knee skeleton and the physics file.

I thought it was worth while and quite a few others have thought so too.

IKAROS looks really cool and well part of that is the 2K and 4K texture options I think, best working ones I have seen for player character and that unique looking body.

Nice thing is that this works for both Human an IKAROS...Also you dont actually have to play IKAROS yourself, you can play human and have a companion from Nexus or follow my stupid instructions on Heather IKAROS version here need to use ShowlooksMenu to finish her look properly but after that she works fine.

Also I linked a file that will allow the player to isolate the skeleton for the male body, so it is possible to have two skeleton types on same game and that was preventing the AAF sex mods, although I have not attempted it myself just yet....

Been playing a mess load of other games atm.

Probably will get back to fixing up some of the clothing here in a few weeks, was using win7 earlier but had to update to win10 cause Bodyslide was not saving right after some update not sure when it happened.

Hello  Gameplayer!Thank you for your amazing race mod.

Almost everything seems to be well on my computer. I just want to know why the outfits mod of Ikaros don't work.

When my character is nude, everything is all-right, the skin, the body shape and the  Physics Activation is OK, too.

But when I choose to wear the outfit from mods, I am still nude, without any outfits.

I can see that I am wearing the outfits through Pip-Boy.

What should I do now to fix this?

(Sorry I am not a native speaker)

I'm just posting to thank you for your hard work. I was downloading a lot of armors to test and not all had atomic beauty support so i was considering learning and making conversions for them. Thanks to you this will not be needed for the majority.

I'm trying to use the bodyslide preset included in the download (gamefever preset) with DX_Leotard but I'm having trouble with the outfit.

This is without using outfit studio to adjust it.

This is what happens when I set the leotard as the reference in outfit studio and press conform all.

Hello everyone, I am sorry that you feel like I'm not here to help you get the mod working on your fallout four game.

I have some awful news.

I lived in a downstairs apartment on barrier island of southwest Florida.  All my possessions are basically destroyed.  When hurricane Irma came I just boarded up my parents house packed their vehicles and left mine in the garage.

So mom an I drove cause dad cannot legally drive or really see at night now.  We got inland and well the whole coastline and everything got creamed by the storm for dozen miles inland....all first floors were destroyed and about 5700 homes just condemned....my parents house was not....  I had a job interview for a county position but someone got consolidated into it...now I'm working on getting my folks house back in order there is still a lot of work ahead and been at it sun up to sun down each day since we got back couple weeks ago.

I really am very bummed out about it and wish very much that I still had my computer after putting so much work into it to make it so zoomy it's now in a bunch of ruble it's been totally submerged in seawater and left to sit for 2 months, much of those two months I slept on my brothers kitchen floor.

Even if someone gave me a machine today it might still be at least a month or two before I can get an electrician over here to power up the house.  Just living on generator power and thankfully we got a portable ac unit to put into my parents master bedroom.

Everyday is a lot of labor an we have all worked hard at times so hard that tempors fly.

I hope you are all well and that you will figure out to install the mods with help from others in the community.  I am sorry that I won't be available to help you get them working and am upset that I won't be able to come back possibly for months before I can get some of those annoying shoes to work properly again for all of you.

hello. I am very grateful for your hard work. I followed your instructions correctly and all of your outfits work fine, but I have one problem. That is, when my character puts on shoes, the well-worn clothes penetrate into my character's body. The high heel system and high heel system sound are normally installed in Mod Organizer 2 in my computer. It does not occur when worn with high heels of other costumes, but if my character tries to wear the clothes and high heels included in the costume set you made, This issue occurs.
