That last one could be related to Kells and his bike. Mmaybe he was too far away and that's why he didn't initiate the scene. That has an easy fix.

 

As for your first error, it is solved by reloading save.

Odd, because the collar was equipped for this scene. If there was an animation that was supposed to trigger, it didn't, as the error in my previous post shows. But that's besides the point and likely a hiccup.

The pool table shouldn't be like this. Nuka Ride is among the last of your plugins? There are a few changes of this style here and there and Nuka Ride needs priority. As for the Shock Collar bug, I think I fixed it in the latest version. The truth is that a few have that error of yours, but I cannot replicate it.

I did get it on the cross with adolf on earlier version, but I don't recall such error during this quest.

Also, either the lights are now fucked in the apartment or this is a plugin order issue. I'm running Darker Nights but it was still lit up like a christmas tree the first time i went inside. Now it's just almost pitch black.

When i push the button to turn them off, the entire place lights up for a split second before just going dark. I'll fiddle a bit with plugin order and xEdit.

I have installed it and I notice that the light inside the apartment is much less intense (not as much as in your photo). I have it at maximum dark ... but I installed it with the patch for Nuka World, I don't know if that helps.

 

I don't know how that mod works, but if the mod edits the vanilla lights (which I use for the apartment) it will probably have these results at night and appear very bright during the day.

 

Ignore the intense flicker of light that you see for a fraction of a second. It happens to all of us. One of these days I'll fix it. ?

He doesn't advance on from the dialogue about you going down to the stream while he waits behind. I did a disable / enable switch on him to kick start the next stage. 

 

(he was just walking back and forth and the "talk to overboss" mission step would not go away after talking to him)

First time through (3.1.6) I saw the double pool table error.  Second time (3.1.9) everything was fine.  In fact,  the only problem  I had with 3.1.9 was a couple of animations not starting.  One was the motorcycle and I just can't recall the other.  Oh, and concerning the MC, I do have Savage Cabbage installed so it should have played.  Saya Scarlett  addressed that motorcycle scene issue quite well... nothing more I can add.

It's weird. I turned them off, left the apartment, then came back and they're working again it seems ?

 

Also, thought i should mention, i love Kaiser. He's great. ?

Single soldier ,as you put it ,you have proved yourself worth the Lone Modder Perk? ...and the respect of all of us enjoying your mod...and the support of the helping hands you mentioned...a big thx to you all.

Which is curious because JB says that it should default to AAF's settings. I'll fiddle with it.

I'm not sure there's even an anim where male performs a rimjob on female?

I know there's one for female to perform it on male or male+male.

 

On yet another note, it seems that even if i select BYOP compatibility when installing Nuka Ride, CWSS is still referenced somewhere.

The script is pretty straightforward and I don't set the duration. So I think it only lasts what is provided in AAF_Settings.ini.

You should have this file:

 

rxl_bp70_anims_positionData.XML

 

Inside, you should find this line. Reinstall the latest version of BP70 if you don't have it.

Hmm, the FOMOD shouldn't install that if you didn't select CWSS. I'll see what happens, but it's nothing serious.

 I was having the same problem of short nuka ride scenes, so I changed the config file for AAF to 90 seconds, which fixed NR scene duration as well as SEU.

How long is the actual anim/sequence of anims, though?
'Cause 30sec is the default in a fresh AAF_Settings.ini, but you probably need to add a line to up the duration to fit everything in (`settings.duration = 60` for example).

 

I'd probably also suggest breaking that up into some different parts, rather than having that all as part of one 'function' or whatnot, 'cause the changing quest stage after ~10sec is potentially messing with things.

Can see my/Ego's scripts for how I/he's grabbed the AAF_API (I basically borrowed his setup :joy:).
I'd suggest setting something similar up, and having the 'action' called in its own function, with info sent as needed (specific actors/tags, etc., nothing all that different from what you're doing already).
The main difference then, would be also registering for `OnSceneEnd`, waiting and checking for what that returns, and if OK, then setting the quest stage.

 

Basically:

  • Setup AAF_API and registers for events when mod loads
  • Function runs as usual
  • Check output of OnSceneEnd, respond accordingly (quest stages, etc.)


Haven't messed around with the update(s), but will grab that for when I mess with my game again, but it's lookin nice.

Only other 'issue' I'd throw in there, is from the previous version (before said recent update), and some odd interactions/quest stage shenanigans, of having apparently completed the quest entirely, and not being able to go hit up Mason for more scenes (or the rest, but could still do the 'porn studio' ones), but also apparently not having the 'porn-star' container appear in the apartment, for some reason.
I'll let you know if that persists again in the updated stuff or not, when I get to it.

I have a problem with "A new Name " quest. At the beginning when supposed talk to Shank he keeps walking away during conversation and this keep resetting interaction and have to keep staring all over with out  making any progress.

Did you manage to fix it? It looks like another mod might be interfering with the packages. Shank has simple packages on that mission which is basically to stand still at the NW main entrance / sit on the stool during the date.

It depends on what is done in that next stage. In my case it is just a simple notification change ("shoot the scene" to "collect your pay after finishing shooting") and it doesn't affect the scene itself. Filming can last 90 seconds or 30 seconds long, as confirmed by one user above, depending on what you have in AAF Settings.

 

I am interested in "On Scene End", but I confess that there are still things that I do not understand. I leave it as homework for next year.
