Yep i have the Mason thing

I just tried a clean playthrough with a similar modlist to the one I used to play through the mod's entire content about 1 month ago without any issues. I even disabled a couple of script-based mods that didn't create any issues last time. (mainly random approach and DD in containers)

Still getting no way to advance after dancing for Mason as part of the audition quest.

It looks like something is preventing NPCs from initiating the next phase.
The characters get fully dressed and I can move around. Don't know if it's the animation not registering as complete, as I see the pole is still there after the dance animation is over.

There is one more sex animation after the dance pole routine....after that you need to talk to him again.  If you are not getting the next AAF scene then maybe your AAF installation is not right.  I have zero mods other than what is needed for Nuka Ride and have tested this around 10 complete times now and no issues....so the mod works....just have to find what is causing you to hangup......check and make sure you have all the latest animations.....some want to install with sound.....don't choose the sound....select no sound...can't remember which one wants to install alternate sound....that caused problems for some people early on.  GL

send me a screenshot of your AFF admin (when a scene fails). So we'll see what happens.

I have noticed that another user had this same problem because his AAF is not updated to the latest version.

I had just give up on version 4.1.1 after the final mission refused to advance from Wes to Cruz, even setstage commands would do nothing. Now I see there is a "softcore" version that allows you to skip that and since I just started over, it would be a good time to try the new version. If you ever decide to add on to this again, one serious suggestion....... give Music more character. I got the feeling she has some interest in the PC, but it's unclear where that lies. She feels very bland and forgettable at times because of no real development and as a writer myself, I feel like there is some huge potential with her if you feel the motivation to do it.

Is she into the PC?

Does she want a different type of slave?

Is she just playing games with you, relishing in her father's constant torture of the PC?

Or maybe she wants to use you to be free of her father?

Even a simple add-on file for Music content that takes place after Nuka Ride could be something.

Thank you ! I don't think Music is still interested in a relationship because she recently lost someone she said she loved. And I don't think she wants to be with the PC, since she knows that you are intimate with her father.

I hope a new game solves your problem

@JB. I made a patch for compatibility with the Furry Fallout 4 mod. I would like to publish this patch.

I'd like to ask your permission first, if you agree.

Sure! Let me know and I'll put it on my front page too.

Thank you. I will test it for a while to see if everything is working properly.

Previous versions worked fine there, haven't changed, updated or installed anything about AAF, besides, it is the only place and secuence that fails, after the dance and the head, nothing else has failed as long as arriving to GN.

I don't really mind cause, with the guide is a piece of cake skiping those issues.

Not sure if this is due some other mods in my list or other users have encountered the same problem, but here a couple things I ran into in the latest version:

- Audition: Mason dialogue did not progress after dance animation. Had to manually start using SetStage command to trigger his dialogue, but then encountered same issue after the other two AAF animations that are part of his AAF quest.

- Overboss died while rescuing me during Lucy quest. Once again ended up using SetStage to advance to the Diamond city scene, but Overboss absence made the remainder of the events unable to trigger, so I ended up completing it via SetStage.

- I am forgetting his name, but the mercenary guy whose name starts with G.. from the new quest where he has you recruit vault girls: After we go to the makeover guy, my character gets on the X cross, but then the game does not advance to the point where piercings and tattoos are applied. I triggered the next step via SetStage, but then once again the NPCs characters just sit there and do not proceed to whipping scene.

I started a new playthrough to check out new content because the stage descriptions of the new quests made them seem intriguing. Started abusing SetStage after Mason audition failed to progress and then used it to skip a couple quests that I've done before by marking them as complete.

I'll do another run today, this time without using any console commands, gonna see if the issue persists, but for now it looks like some kind of problem with dialogues not triggering after an event (AAF animation, appearance change, etc)

In regards to the more recent conversation I have seen in this thread, I, for one, appreciate the more "hardcore" thematic of this mod and would be sad to see it adopt a milder creative direction.
If some people are not comfortable with the content in this mod, I am of the opinion that perhaps this is not the mod for them and they should look somewhere else instead of trying to divert development time/resources into mechanisms that would allow them to bypass/filter content. Alternatively, such features should be considered at the end of the mod's development cycle, once the creator's original vision for the content is fulfilled.

Question:

When a Nuka World Npc talks to you, do you get the vanilla dialog like you were the overboss?

No. I am doing Nuka World in a brand new save file.
I ended up triggering the post-dance dialogue with SetStage, everything else has worked perfectly so far. Right now just started the quest where I go find Music.

Wishful thinking - after Nuka-Ride quests are all done, in case PC wants to continue wandering around and do something in the Commonwealth - add a possibility to have the Overboss or some other ally (Mason? William?) to be a functional companion. This is to have some immersion level of "want to do other content, but with the established Nuka-Ride lore for PC it's be very unrealistic for PC to strap a minigun and go on a killing spree".

Currently this is somewhat achievable with AFT (functionally), but of course - first, it risks to break any recurring quests on such NPCs and they will be just silent dummies and it's be cool to at least have them some combat taunts and finishing one-liners.

No one in NR takes you seriously every time you say you know how to fight and use weapons. And that's probably going to stay that way, so in order not to break consistency, they better not see you fighting in firefights and stuff.

From a lore point of view, the only person who could accompany you would be

Spoiler

your sister. It's in my plans.

Using a unique NR NPC for that might be safer. Maybe not Music (or maybe so?), definitely not Mr. Corsican... it could be an opportunity to introduce a new unique character into the NR storyline though, with the intent that they can be acquired as a long-term follower. But also one of the robots or Apollo could make for a fun and original not-your-typical-follower-mod companion. Also it seems like anyone could develop a follower NPC mod which fits into NR, without tying them directly to the plot of the original mod such that alterations to NR itself would be needed.

Agreed, I would imagine cowering behind a lamppost or mailbox peeing yourself while your burly bodyguard dispatches the baddies.

Edit: Maybe they'd even take away any weapons you pick up, since you might accidentally hurt yourself with them, and the studio/overboss can't have their merchandise damaged.

So...with you including the outfits, do we still need TRS and EasyGirl?

Yes....and you need to build them in BodySlide.....you need to download the correct Bodyslide file from JB's page too.  I think it is only using the textures from those files.

Hey JB....I got my first AAF failed message....something about being to far away from furniture.....during the Maxson and Overboss scene....I talked to Gage and there was supposed to be an  AAF scene I guess......this is what I got.

I looked for a setting to increase the search distance and didn't find anything.

*edit*  Loading just before this and running it again seems to have worked this time without this error....not a big deal.

But ..well, this is exactly what I was talking about? The idea is:

- Play NR mod, become an AV actress

- Oh no, the mod's over but there is a lot of other content (idk - Fourville, OaR you name it) to cover

- But as an AV actress it has become lore-breaking for PC to suddenly "switch the combat mode on" and go get'em all

- So, why not ask Overboss or any of them "burly bodyguards" to go with PC and do that content this way?

This is what I'm doing with AFT at the moment. I've went with William for starters - he doesn't have that many quests going on. It's quite funny. I even created "no combat" perk for PC to set her combat output to nigh zero to ensure she can't contribute.

P.S. If you think it's an "easy mode" - try playing with the "no bullet-sponge" settings, there are a lot of mods to provide for that. Then cowering behind a lamp post in hopes the bad guys won't get the bodyguard becomes a real challenge.

Some RP elements have to be "in your head". For me, I just set it in my head the black screen with the eyebot may be a temporary "mind trick" continued by the random drugs given to you. Afterwards, you "break the spell" and go on with your adventures, eventually killing Overboss and the others for what they did.

Just create your own reasons for things for your own lore, it's pretty easy and will make you much happier with story mods in general..

That reminds me...

I don't know how to create a dialog with the eyebot. That's why I did it like this, with a fade to black. I can't even get his name visible and the "talk" option. I downloaded an eyebot companion mod and started to compare... I still don't get where the difference lies.

It's a shame because I had a couple of short dialogues planned for him and the player when they meet.

Edit: I tried again and got it. I have to create a new race, the Eyebot race does not allow dialogues.

Some of the animations wont play for me in the new 4.0 quests, for example it will just say Jewel is doing something with Father, how do i fix this?

I do not wish to give up my EVB babe. Is there a way to circumvent the special clothing (FG,CBBE based) which becomes invisible on my character? Thanks.

I have no idea man. Maybe you want to create a new profile with Fusion Girl / CBBE? I don't know about EVB, but something tells me that tattoos and markings are going to come out completely atrophied on a body that isn't FG or CBBE.

That's not my mod. It's probably another mod that's interfering with mine.

An idea I had was for an Eyebot follower. It would give you a random extremely generic mission such as "have a sex with a gunner". Then follow you around until you filmed it. Once it detects a relevant AAF scene playing the bot would pay up. I thought this would be a good tie in to other mods because it leaves the rest of the details up to you. AAF Violate, Beggar Whore, Vanilla Fudge, etc. all offer routes to film scenes that might qualify. It seemed like a good way to get the character into the Wasteland once Nuka Rides story is over. And help tie everything together.

JB. gave me permission to build it. And I started. But Creation Kit kept crashing and I lost steam. I vastly prefer writing papyrus scripts and using xEdit over the CK. The CK hates me and I never got proficient with it.

I had a few more ideas for after building the above. The end of the regular Nuka World story has you claiming settlements in this Commonwealth. I was thinking of doing the same thing only they could be porn studios. You could recruit settlers as actors. Film scenes. Lot of potential there.

I was also thinking that after the NR main story there could be one or more side quests for learning how to use guns. Basically there would be certain Nuka Raiders who would be willing to teach you a little about how to shoot in exchange for a dance, blowjob, or similar. Try to create a lore friendly path from pornstar to wanderer.

I have this idea and I know it's very restrictive, but for another mod. I know that the key is to put the keyword "BlockPlayerActivation" to all the workbenches and weapons benches so that you can't use them ( bc "you don't know how to use them"), but I don't have much knowledge yet to implement something like that. Indarello had told me that this function existed in F4SE.

So you were going to visit a NPC who would tutor you until you knew how to use them.

CK loves me, rarely crashes on me.
