Naked Defeat AE/SE

Ran into a similar problem when i get downed no sex scenes start but instead i get up and start crawling after the timer runs out enemies become hostile but im stuck crawling.

tried reinstalling multiple times and on multiple new games but same problem happens

hmm, seems I cannot make sense of this o_O

I found no possible way for these events to occur in tha order, hmm.

 

just to make sure:

- redownload a fresh 4.70 version
- make sure you have removed all other full versions, fixes or patches (extra files can remain)

- double check you did the install procedure correct (toggle mod on, save and reload)

- try NOT to use the Debug Hotkey (you spammed it, at least the log states that. should be unrelated tho)

 

really wild, sorry I cannot give more insight. stared at the script parts for almost 30 mins now...

for me, the progress of the defeat scene goes on if i wait 1 hour or open and close the console, seems to be a script lag, maybe something went wrong with my installation or we have to wait for nymra doing a hotfix hopefully , till then i deactivate the mod

Ok there is progress i think.

Im no longer invincible when crawling and when they attack me while in that state the animations start to play but after it finishes im at 0 HP and my character is stuck in place

I m confused.
you should NOT be attacked while crawling (it can happen sometimes when you are supposed to escape, will be fixed in 4.71)
but you SHOULD be invincible while crawling (godmode is ON) 

 

also do you mean crwaling when "find a good spot" or when "crawl away cunt"? 
 

feel free to send me a new papyrus.log of that "progress" :P
I rewrote some parts of the script for 4.71 (mostly additional trace messages tho), maybe that also helps. 
I m doing final tests and relesase it tonight i guess

can you tell me what the problem is? its hard enough to make sense of debug logs, please describe accuratly what happened and what did not meet your expectations :)

I was not attacked when it said "find a good spot"

I was attacked when it called me a cunt but this time i took damage and the scenes started to play

also yet another update 

after reloading the save again this time i got attacked and the animations played on first try after the animation finished i was stuck for a bit and then it said that they will hunt me down and i could move very very fast and i froze again got teleproted back to them after a bit and then it said they are done with me and called me a cunt again (;c)

it seems to be a pattern for me

1st knockout - nothing happens

2nd - works mostly (have to wait 3 hours for my character to get of her knees)

3rd - nothing

4th - works 

etc

Crawl away is at the end of Defeat, no sex scenes should start after that.

I only see that event one time in the log and I do not see fucking scenes starting after that, just half a dozen "save game" and from what it looks like a normal shutdown of the mod.

 

do you have any other mods that start combat sex?

the only thing I really found was that it took 32 seconds in your game to get from "9 seconds left" to "3 seconds left"

this is most likely due to script lag, meaning alot of active scripts that slow down papyrus. 
this can be even when there is no log entries. 
you could look at your "active script" list in SaveCleaner (fallrimtools/resaver) to see what is going on out there.
everything Naked Defeat does is "Utility.Wait(3.0)" meaning it waits for 3 seconds. but if those 3 seconds are papyrus.seconds and each is x3 we get, well. 9 seconds instead of 3.
you could try to set the wait time to a minimum time (3 and 2), maybe that improves it for you

hmm, so strange :(

then I admit I m just out of ideas. 

out of curiosity: did you play the previous versions without the "crawl"? 
it also had a timer, did that work better/different? it was with "sneaking" and also "find a good spot" message

if you mean older versions of your mod then no this is the first time ive downloaded your mod.

Thank you for taking the time btw.

Aside from the weird pattern issue and script lag the mod seems to work.

Not a deal breaker for me and i will continue to use it even with the minor issues since i personally find it to be the best in terms of features and stuff

that is not crawling.

the mod works as intended, everything is fine.

 

what you are experiencing is what I currently perceive as a sexlab problem/bug. 

sexlab seems to take forever to terminate its scenes and you can move around after sex (in this case "crawl") because I cannot prevent this from happening at the moment due to sexlab beeing limited.

my workarounds did not... well... work and I see what I can do with this in the future.

 

Basically: just dont move after sex, its pointless since you will be teleported back to the point of defeat anyway.
the crawling idles  at the beginning and end is applied/removed  as fast as it can be. 

 

so what you see is not "crawling to end" but "sexlab taking forever"

I am regularly looking how other mods do stuff, but I guess if they had made stuff that I want I would not have made Naked Defeat :D
Also, reading scripts is still like chinese for me very often given the way many ppl do it, so it takes a lot of time.

 

I already noticed that Naked Defeat does some things faster than other mods and the stuff that is delayed is really only the "find spot" timer and sometimes the "after sex" delay.

 

1. after sex can be related to Sexlab taking longer for the FIRST scene after loading a game. it will both take longer to start and to end. I read this a while ago since I also saw that pattern.

2. in my game I can clearly trace back the longer time for "find spot" to papyrus load (for example outdoors it takes longer than indoors with only some actors around).


I m always trying to find solutions, but sadly there is not always a good example for a solution AND a working one... 
What I experience is, that mods like Naked Defeat also tend to unreveal general problems in Load Orders of users that are not related to the mod itself. 
50% of issues I had with "my mod" were in the end other mods interfering or malfunctioning.

General:
  • added version check (should detect SE version now)
    ---> please tell me if this works for you. should show the "SE" behind the version number in the MCM/System
 
Changes to NymStripping:
Keep in Mind NymStripping is still a feature designed 100% to my own liking at the moment, basically a private feature. I will expand it bit by bit and possibly add more options too, but that is low priority. I still asume that you also use Sexlab to strip your character.
  • NymStripping now also respects the choices in the CombatStrip Dropdown. Meaning you can choose "Destroy,Unequip or Drop" now also for items stripped during defeat
  • NymStirpping now has a 33% chance to strip most clothing and items BEFORE round 1 of sex (to work in conjunction with my hidden "naked loot")
 
Changes to crawl:
NOTE: make sure to set "Escape Timer" in Naked Defeat/MCM/Defeat/ to the value you like. I suggest smaller values (2-4 seconds) for testing to see if it works and then increase if need be
The feature is meant to be a humiliation of the beaten PC, nothing more.
  • added check for "player in combat" when crawling. this should end crawling with a delay of hopefully only 1-2 seconds
  • added godmode during crawling
  • changed how the crawl ends and maybe this prevents "crawl with lightspeed" but not sure (for me it always worked)
  • when you have problems with Crawl: do you use Nemesis? Or do you have Sexlab Survival (SLS) installed? From what I remember SLS tries to solve movespeed issues
 
Fixes
  • fixed missing Hair Setting MCM page
  • fixed Creatures Spawning after sex and doing nothing (this should only happen when defeated by humans)
  • fixed "combat strip" using the wrong slot for helmets (30 instead of 31...) -> mod should now correctly recognized and strip worn helmets (circlets and circlet helmes on slot 42 worked, tho)
  • rewrite the DDe Event and hopefully it termiantes correctly now (equip DD outfit, whipping, release (with some time to get away when "escape timer" is set by you in the mcm)
    ----> there should be NO Escape game (no wiggling required) to move away.
    ----> I also made sure that the crawl animations and crawl speed are reverted to normal before equiping outfit
  • changed screen message for follower registration to reduce spam
 
"Hidden Features" are now called "Nymra's BETA Features" in the MCM (System) page
Currently there are three BETA features:
  • swimming in armor or with boots on will kill you slowly
  • washing scenes of all kinds will quickly apply empty armors to remove blood (is now super fast and should no longer make the head "invisible")
  • Naked Loot system as described below:

new BETA Feature "Naked Loot" (only active when "Nymra's BETA Features" is ON (MCM/System)
This feature is designed for my own desires of making looting interesting for me again. I love to play with certain outfits and do not like to use stuff found in the wild when I lose those outfits.
Basically I always want to control how my PC looks. With this system I can loot ANYTHING and then transform it into the saved outfits. This comes at a cost and for me looting corpses can trigger tentacle attacks (modified Devious Chests) and this feature will also make it into Naked Defeat of course.
This is the first corner stone of my attempt to make looting, trading and travelling more... kinky too.
 
  1. you can save your outfits to Naked Defeats MCM now (System, below the profiles)
  2. when equipping a bodypart armor piece (bodyslot) it will be destroyed and with a certain chance will be replaced by one of your saved outfits (including weapons)
    ---> this also costs some money to represent material cost for fitting the looted armor to you
  3. the equipped outfit will match the armor type of the looted armor, so make sure you have at least one light, one heavy and one clothing type outfit (but no more than two with one type)
    1. ---> armor type of an outfit is determined by the body parts armor type
  4. when in PLAYER HOMES the whole function is disabled, you can do with all armor what you want
  5. when in a STORE the chance that you equip an outfit is 100% (the vendor item still will be destroyed) tho
  6. when you successfully equip an outfit, a cooldown starts (5 minutes currently) before you can try to do this again
  7. you can also alternativly equip boots only. this increases the chance of a matching pair, but will only equip suitable boots from your outfits
  8. you can freely swap items that are part of a saved outfit, since they already "fit" :)
  9. non-clothing/armor items and jewelry are not affected (yet :D)
  10. this feature is recommended to use with "destroy stripped" items options in Naked Defeat

Some positive news! :cool:

 

  • Replaced both iNeed and Frostfall with Sunhelm. (Really loving Sunhelm so far!!)
  • Tossed Blushed When Aroused entirely. (Messy scripting with mfg_console.) Note: The CE+ author has an updated version!
  • Made sure I had the right Conditional Expressions version for CE+. (CE+ requires version 1.20 from the Nexus. Presently anyway.)

 

More importantly the results:

 

Suddenly that "6 seconds to find a spot" .... actually is less than 6 seconds! (About 5 on 3 tests so far! ?) I'll begin testing in earnest again now that my silly issues are handled. (Thanks again Nymra for putting up with the hassle! :cool:)

 

EDIT: Test 5, got whipped by a dryad on Solstheim! ? ? (If that was unintentional, KEEP IT! It worked great! :cool:)

Doesn't work for me. It says 4.71 LE on my AE installation.
