Here's my situation (Skyrim AE):

 

4.70 -> New Game -> MCM menu available after character creation, no game restart necessary

 

4.71 - BETA Patch2 -> New Game -> NO! MCM menu available, even after saving and restarting the game

overwrite the Patch2 with this fix and see, it should fix the SE version thing, but I m not sure about the MCM but worth a try.

It looks better now with the hotfix.

 

1. MCM is back in my game.

2. It now says: Naked Defeat Mod Version 4.71 - SE

3. Amongst others I see these sub-menus: Outfit & Tags / Creaturetypes / Bodyslots / Hairstyles

 

Now I'm going do test the mod's in-game functions. Yesterday, with just 4.70, it didn't really work.

It took about 1 minute between hitting the surrender hotkey and the start of the SL scene.

 

Should I be able to surrender to Skeevers? It consistently didn't work with 4.70. Instead the Skeever

just walked away and it took the mod close to 5 minutes to release my PC. During that time I wasn't

able to loot anything, be it containers or open loot.

 

And after the Skeever incident I couldn't surrender anymore at all. My PC would just stand there with

all controls disabled and the NPCs attacking her constantly.

hmm, strange.
bitdefender scan says clean.
did it delete the zip or the extracted file? 
its weird since it only contains a folder and one script

surrender is meant to work with all kinds of enemies. 
 

I need a papyrus log to identify problems with such scenarios. the info you provided is basically useless without a papyrus.log

Hi.  It deleted the whole thing. 

 

But checked again and both files downloaded OK and scanned as 'No threats'   Weird.  Sorry about that

Naked Defeat 4.70 + 4.71 patch + 4.71 hotfix

Skyrim AE

New Game save

 

- 1st surrender: always works, tested with various NPCs and with different outcomes (SL scene or whipping)

 

- after 1st surrender: PC can move but can't loot anything for roughly 2 minutes

 

- 2nd surrender: PC controls disabled, PC in surrender pose, NPCs idling and sometimes become hostile again and attack PC

 

- at this point the only thing I can do is either load a save or re-start the game

 

I did this 5 times now and always got the same picture.

1. 

you have no actors. They were either too far away or not valid (the Zombie was not supported, possibly wrong CF install or a Zombie that is from a mod that does not register to CF (Skyrim Underground?)

partial solution: increase search radius to for example 5000 (both for indoor and outdoor and go from there) 

2. you have a stackdump at the end of the defeat scenario which will delay EVERYTHING and also can cause the mod not terminating correctly. 
I ve built some backups in "Mod Disable/Enable" to fix that, but whenever Naked Defeat ends in an unusual way or seems stuck, I would recommend looking into the log and search for: "Dumping stack"
a dumping stack should be fixed first since it can cause alot of issues with all kinds of mods.

 

Seems it was caused by an event that alot of mods use and just overflowed papyrus, but I have too little knowlegde about causes for stackdumps to give further advice in this case, sorry.
the event is "OnCrosshairRefChange() "

maybe it was just a bad conincidence.

 

One way to solve it is removing mods... ;-/
I never had any stackdumps that I could not fix by removing a bad mod. 

 

In other words: in this case the issue seems to not be with naked defeat.

Hey! I've been having a bit of trouble with the mod. When I'm defeated, I get so far as the crawl. Yet no matter how long I wait, no scene will trigger and the NPC walks off disinterestedly. Now if I hit T to wait, then cancel out, It'll start the message "You've 3 Seconds..." But again, nothing will happen unless I hit T to rest and cancel out again, then the scene will trigger. Any ideas on what the problem could be? This is the only Sexlab mod I've got installed other than it's dependencies.

 I can understand, not wanting to read 67 pages to find something, but the last two could be done. It's script lag and the last few pages here should bring you up to everyone's level.

So I've tested version 4.71 a little.

 

In a new Game the mod detects SE, in an ongoing one it didn't.

Crawling to find a good spot seems faster than the set time.

Crawling away didn't end till I opened the menu twice.

It looks like the mod ignore female agressors again.

 

And here is my log.

Sorry for the maybe already clarified question, but I have received ingame messages that hairstyle is changed and but no hairstyles are registered and I should therefore read the FAQ. In the FAQ's I have found nothing on the subject but under 2. hair change. Unfortunately, I find under MCM / Naked Defeat / Library nothing, because there are several library sections, I have looked through all, but nothing on the subject of hair change found. Do you have the setting option for this eventually?

If your running version 4.70, you need to update to 4.71 beta 2 (download at the top of this page). There is a hotfix too.

hmm, nothing irregular in the log.

I am currently rewriting the crawl timer and then it will work the same on defeat crawl and escape crawl.


as for females: it should work as I look at the scripts. did you tick the "Allow Females as aggressors" in the MCM? 
Its off by default I think so a new game might cause it to be off :) 

in my test also females worked on 4.71

Yes, it is. I checked that 3 times, I think.

In my next test I was defeated at the tower half way to Bleak Fall Barrow and Alvor was teleprted in fom Riverwood to do the whipping, while the female bandit was standing next to me. The race detection isn't working as a whole, right now. Last four defeats with bandits, spider and drouger no race was detected. they did the deed though.

no idea, hmm. your game seems to not check the enemies that hit you (from double checking the last log).

 

one reason can be a erranous DHLP suspend that did not shut down.

 

1. check in Naked Defeat MCM System in top right corner if "DHLP (external)" is true or false

2. do you use DCUR?

what do you mean "work with"?

the better question is: does Aroused Creatures respect other mods or not :P

 

if a creature comes to fuck you while Naked Defeat is active (you are defeated etc.) Aroused Creatures is the problem. 

in that case Aroused Creatures needs to check for DHLP event sent and block itself from running for the duration.

I think I put everything in place to fix this when turning the mod Off and On, but I will check if I really added all the necessary things. This is only a debug thing tho, ideally no stackdumps should happen, they are just fucking everything up.

If you are uncertain, check the paprus0.log from time to time.

That seems to help with the detction. Loading I got the massage Player Monitor active, which I had not seen before. Females still ignore me though.

DHLP (external) is false

I think I haven't installed DCUR, even if I can't remember what that was.
