That's the problem with a lot of creators / games thangs on patreon - bug fixes are just less and less important vs pushing out content to keep the paying masses. But then again this is a game mod with a lot of other mods that could not be play nice together as well so some testing might be hard slight pass on any issues as so many people have different load orders etc. But core functions should work just fine.

The problem may be your mod stacks.  I've been using this mod for months without any issues.
...actually, to correct that, I encountered my first issue yesterday, but it was because I had loaded a new mod that was conflicting.  I removed it and this is working perfectly for me again.

I guess the question is, is it fair to expect a mod author to develop a mod and make sure it works perfectly in your specific setup, or does it make more sense to expect you to conform to the needs of the mod if you want to use it?
If you're here, though, chances are you didn't pay anything for this mod.  So, my question is, if you're this motivated to post about what you didn't like about something you got for free, did you also take the time to let the authors of the mods you DO use and like know that you're enjoying their work?

Well...I do pay for his hard work.   I don't post for help on the patreon or discord page because I have a better chance of a user solving it here, than a response from the author of the mod....my questions go on left unanswered  It could be a conflicting mod, but i've also gone bare bones just to play the baka suite of mods....but still, dialogue seems to only 1/2 work.

People generally expect a mod to work or the author to at least acknowledge known compatibility issues.

 

The mod author is free not to, but it should surprise no one when people finally give up on it and shit talk the mod.

 

Bonus, this mod has a "manual" which is uncommon for anything but big name mods that do a lot to the game, or are just generally very feature rich.

 

This mod... isn't? Given that the mod author could only come up with 3 features as major selling points, that are all really just restating the same thing, it does not bode well.

 

The manual is borderline useless in a lot of ways (so much wasted space (do not bother with "Change Log", have it be its own file), awful formatting (3 sentences talking an entire page), useless event names (zero description as to what a lot of them are, with the exception of "Normal Events")).

I am wondering if this is my mod list but the victims I am rescuing are aggro to any passers by, guards or populated skyrim generated. I am fighting the attackers and if any npc are near they attack the victim. I also have to manually add to the rescue total in the debug. Does anyone else get this behavior?

It happens nearly all the time. The patch I made tries to fix this by lowering their aggression but it doesn't work on all encounters. If you can't speak to the enslaved knight or warrior, you might need to reset their AI in console (Target NPC, type in resetAI, then press enter). Not all rescue encounters work correctly. I don't really know what's causing this bug.

It's supposed to play animations from BakaFactory's SLAL Animations. If that isn't set up correctly, it might stop the scene from playing any other animations. If it still happens, try opening and closing the item menu, sometimes animations get stuck in place and won't advance to the next stage.

I am sorry, what? In no reality is the mod author obligated to make their mod work with other mods you have installed. That is an incredibly entitled attitude. There are 3142 pages of mods on the Skyrim SSE nexus, each page displays 21 mods, for a total of 65982 mods. If I was a mod author, and someone said what you said, my response would be laughter.

 

As a tip, Babodialoge is three mods in one: events + comments + harassment. You can disable all of the events and still deal with the other two if they are causing problems.

That is a bold statement when slaverun and beeingfemale mods exist. Babodialogue is definitely "finnicky" but at least it doesn't brick your saves (or at least it never did for me, and I'm not saying the two I mentioned did, I'm just omitting some other problematic ones to avoid drama). I think people put up with finnicky nature of those mods because they are so unique?
Like npc just approaching and scene starting with nothing else is... boring even if under the hood there are some specific triggers for it, you as a player just see npc come by, scene starts and thats it, some mods still make it work with that when its more obvious why scene triggered (like SL fame comments do it pretty well IMO for example) but generally, the way baka does things just ends up being way more fun approach mods. Its not like I can replace most of these mods with something, defeat I could but I actually think defeat baka is least prone to failure sexual defeat mod at least in my experience.

I absolutely do not want npc npc defeats nor do I want player as an attacker, I understand these might be things some people want. I hate automatic cover up animations so I disable most of these in mods, I only use SL survival cover up. I only use mouse and keyboard and I haven't had issues with struggle bar. The worst most gamebreaking thing I had happen with defeat baka was  being stuck in a lying position which either reset on its own after a while or I could use SL survival debug features to get out of it. I should've been more particular with wording I guess, for what I want and that is immerssive sexual defeat for the player only, defeat baka seems to be the best fit. I assume bane ver doesn't have integration with baka mods? Does it have some struggle animations?

Yeah, then we want the same things in our Defeat mods. Bane ver doesn't integrate with Baka mods; I assume Baka Defeat excludes Baka faction in defeat scenarios which is crucial for Babodialogue to work. I still haven't gotten around to trying out the Bane version, but it's meant to only fix up the original SexLab Defeat. So if I remember correctly from my experience of the LE version, no struggle animation. Just QTE while player is in generic downed animation. But from feedback, Bane's should be the most stable version out there.

No struggle animation is a real shame, if I ever run into a serious problems with defeat I will give bane's ver a try thanks for recommendation.

Hey has anyone had the problem that when defeated by the horny frost troll or the crazed serial killer that the game freezes and crashes? Also I cant seem to get npcs to spank my player, the only reason I know its possible is it happened to me once. The npc was covered in a red glow spanked my PC and I even had dialogue about it. I thought all this mod did was add the troll, killer, bandits having sex with defeated heroine you can interrupt, and orcs at breezehome. If there's more to this mod here what is it? And how do I get it to work?

Hi. I have got a problem regard the vice captain event. Commander Caius' dialogue was working well, but after he said he would take me to the vice captain he sat back to the table again and did not intend to go anywhere else. And after that, vice captain did not show up when the orcs event happened. Just wonder if anyone got the same issue and somehow fixed this. Thanks in advance! 

Btw Commander Caius is missing after the battle at Whiterun and I used the console command player. placeatme ## to get him back to Dragonsreach. It might be the reason but I am not so sure.

This will be a personal note, but I am writing this because the information was scattered and may be useful to someone else.
For me, English is not my first language, so I use machine translation.
I didn't know how to use TES5edit, so I got the Ring from the AdditemMenu Mod and equipped it, but this state seems to satisfy some of the conditions of occurrence, but not all functions are enabled.
I learned how to use TES5edit and gave the appropriate keywords to the armor mods I like and all functions are enabled.

Hello, I have a problem with the Change Location Event 06(Lowlife at night), after the dialogues nothing happens. I use FNIS and Nemesis and the same time could that be the problem?

I don't know what im doing wrong but I can not get the events to work. At one point it was working but then it stopped working. I think I correctly added the keywords to my armors and i even get dialogue from barkeepers but nothing else happens. Ive been trying for days but to no avail.

Ok, I give up.  I can not find "Zaz Animation Pack 8 Plus SE" anywhere.  Can someone please provide a link to said mod.  Or was this a misprint?
