On the other hand, i updated during a game the version 5.12 to 5.46 and the event where a rapist comes and follows you furtively no longer works. He speaks to you but nothing happens. Before the slhh animation occurred and it teleported you elsewhere but in version 5.46 nothing happens, it goes back to dialogue mode indefinitely and it follows you constantly. It's a shame, the concept is nice but more the author updates it, more things break )= Unless a new part is needed for updates but i didn't read in the description that this was necessary.

Hi, You can try reinstalling baka motion data pack, then run FNIS for that problem... or if You have SL Approach too Babodialogue must be above of it in the load order.

B3juc0 Posted March 19, 2024 Posted March 19, 2024 A lot of the meshes in most Babo mods need to be open in Outfit studio so they are converted to Special Edition files. It's like the mod is being develop on LE. As soon as you convert them... they appear in game.

I tried your solution; delete my fnis and nemesis folders and restart everything from scratch and i had already SexLab Approach.esp after BaboInteractiveDia.esp but that did not resolve the problem. In ssedit i don't see any conflict apart from one record but nothing that would explain that placing one or the other above or below would make a difference. As for mcm "BaboMCMRestart.pex", the problem is still there in fact, less than with version 5.40 but i just had a ctd while loading a save with mcm ski babo in error. Yea the mod is awesome when it works. I ended up just abandoning trying to make it work

First thing I noted is that there was no quest marker to find the traveler and I'm not sure if that was intended. I found the traveler right outside the Whiterun gates, with the "sick" horse. Aroused Creatures immediately triggered an assault by the horse. When I tried to speak with the traveler afterwards, the dialoge went nowhere - I think he got stuck after saying he was going to introduce himself. I reloaded an earlier save and disabled Aroused Creatures. This time, the dialogue made more sense and I got to the part where I was supposed to check the horse. I spoke to the horse and got the dialoge box to check his eyes and heart. I checked both but when I was done, each interaction with the horse simply popped up the same dialogue box with the same choices - check eyes and heart. When I tried to check again, I got the dialogue box that I'd done that already and to check the other. Tried speaking with the traveler again but he just complained that I should be working on his horse. Back at the horse - speaking to him ("let me check you out") produced the same check eyes/heart dialogue. Not sure what to do from here. Any suggestions? Thanks for years of enjoyment from this great mod! I sure hope I can get this quest working.
Roarc Posted March 20, 2024 Posted March 20, 2024 Anyone here have an issue for certain events (so far I've seen it happen on Morthal and Nightgate Inn events) where your player character just ragdolls before the scene or after the scene ends? The recover control button in the MCM doesn't help, so I end up having to reload from an earlier save. For the Morthal event, the scenes and all the animations play correctly, but I end up sprawled on the floor and can't move. Nothing works to re enable controls. Not sure if there's a fix, tried searching throughout this thread.

I love the idea of the mod, and what it adds when it shows up in MCM, but the random nature of it showing up, and events either not fully triggering (such as the horse, orc visit etc) are becoming a bit much. I have run out of things to try really. after playing all day yesterday, today the save will not load at all and the errors pertaining to this mod are extensive. I think I'll step away from the mod and skyrim and try to make it work again in a few weeks

I have both Aroused Creatures and Babodialogue, and they work together for that quest, but you have to fiddle with the settings a bit. The dialogue options can get a bit weird since you have to talk to the horse and thus the dialogue for SLAC pops up after every instance. Just cancel the dialogue after every instance of checking the heartbeat, the eyes, etc. immediately and the quest should proceed normally. You also can't exit the checking animations too early, or you end up getting softlocked and can't proceed with the quest. So let the animations play a bit, press E or whatever key you use to initiate dialogue, let it go through, and when you've checked both heart and eyes, wait for a couple secs and hopefully another dialogue should pop up. I've noticed a lot of the times for this mod's events, you kind of have to wait a bit longer than normal to let the flags proceed. Sometimes it just breaks and locks up, and that's when you just reload.

I have always enjoyed this mod and didn't mean to suggest otherwise with my post. Some times you just have to accept that mods are always WIP.

It's an entertaining mod, but sometimes, like the issue I'm facing above, something just breaks and your only option is to reload.

It works fine without them if you aren't bothered by that. It's still very buggy mod on it's own.

To make sure it is compatible with SkyrimSE\AE, process the files using Cathedral Asset Optimizer.

The only Key config I find in MCM is the "Magic Curser Key" I set it to "V" but when i press it in the bandit camp when the mod tell me to "press babo diagogue actions key to decide to what to do". The "V" key becomes the wait function in vanilla game, which was set to "T" in my game.
