Skyrim SexLab - Sex Animation Framework v1.62 - UPDATED Jun 3rd 2016

Hello, all.

 

First off, great work Ashal. Thanks for putting the time in to create a framework for modders to use.

 

Unfortunately, things don't seem to be working for me.

 

I've installed everything and FNIS recognizes the SexLab animations.

I also have SexLab Submit installed and the dialog options seem to run as they are intended.

 

However, the animations don't fire when they should.

 

I would assume this is a SL Submit problem, but a thing I noticed is that in the SKYUI MCM for SexLab, the animations toggle sections are all blank.

 

Before I head over to SL Submit's thread, I would like to know if this is normal or is my game somehow not even registering the animations?

 

Current versions:
Skyrim: 1.9.32.0.8

SKSE: 1.6.13 rel 4

FNIS: 3.5

SKYUI: 3.4

Also in another thread someone mentioned he had the same problem because he didn't install SexLab Resources, which is a requirement.

Reinstalled SexLab over SL Submit and everything is working as it should.

 

I have to say, this is quite a piece of work. :)

Okay, need some guinea pigs to help me test a change the way animations are played. This likely won't fix any framework related issues, or break any existing mods, it may provide you with a significant stability improvement however.

 

If your are having stability problems with crashing post/during sex, then I'm especially interested if this fixes your problem or not. But I'd like as many people to test it as possible before using it in release.

In order for the changes to take full effect on an existing save, you will need to open the MCM rebuild page and click "Clear Animation Registry", accept the prompt, save your game, and reload the save so it reinstalls the animations using the new scripts.

 

When testing, pay especially close attention to how the npcs act after sex, if they continue to animate like normal and go about their normal AI behavior properly, as thats where this new method may or may not have bad consequences, though I'm confident it won't. This isn't the full extent of the changes if I do go with them for a future release, it's more of just a dropped in proof of concept.

 

In any case, if you use the test scripts let me know your results; good, bad, or unchanged.

First use of SAETesting.

Installed the whole thing (overwriting files), MCM --->"rebuild animations" ---> save ----> reload.

 

Location:  Custom House (Peregrine Highwatch), livingroom (with nearby forge room separate by fence and arch).

Tool used:  Matchmaker spells

 

1. Female sit on a chair in the forge area. Male walking in the living room. Cast on female first and male second. "Arrok standing foreplay" done correctly near the female's chair (one meter behind). No clutter, no clipping.

 

2. Female sit on a table bench in the living room. Male crossing the arch from the forge room. Cast on male first. "Arrok Hugging fuck" done correctly near the bench (about the position where npc have their start animation to sit on a bench). No clutter, no clipping.

 

3. Male "cooking" in the living room. PLAYER standing between tables (free surface). Cast on male first. "AP Kneeling blowjob" changed with hotkey to "Sideways fuck" done correctly (slight adjustment with forward hotkey: two hits).

Transition between stage 4 and final stage ----> CTD

2nd round. Still with Matchmaker spells, Same location.

Intentionally casted on working (sandbox) npcs.

 

1. Female at workbench. Male at smelter. Cast on female first. "Reverse cowgirl" started correctly BUT after one second the male was "teleported" in the other living room area. The two npcs performed their action till the end far apart.

 

2. Same situation. Cast on male first. "Sideways fuck" started correctly BUT after one second the male teleports far apart (near the smelter were he was warking before: sandbox priority?).

 

3. Female sitting on chair near the smelter's coke pile. Male working at smelter. Cast on male first. "Arrok lying foreplay" clipped inside the coke pile. After one second the male teleported in the free space between smelter and coke pile. Female still "inside" partially the coke pile. Animation performs till the end. (Another sandbox priority or clipping jump?).

 

4. Female 1 at tanning rack. Female 2 at smelter. Cast on Female 1 first. "Arrok sideways" near the tanning rack. After one second, Female 2 teleported 2 meters away in the smelter direction.

After another two seconds, Female 2 "slides" forward the smelter (still performing the sex animation). Sex animation performed till the end. At the end the two female were far apart, the 1 near the tanning rack, the 2 near the smelter. (I suspect heavy bad priority of the idiot sandboxes).

 

5. PLAYER standing in the living room (free space). Male walking in the living room. Caston male first. "Arrok lying foreplay". ALL perfect. No clipping, no slides, no far apart, no CTD.

 

All NPCs returned to their own sandbox routines few seconds after the end of actions, no problems.

Testing the new file, worked for me just fine.

 

I was getting runtime errors and freezeups about 25% of the time but with the new file after following the instructions my girl went on a hooking frenzy, she did about 30 acts consecutively without any kind of an error at all.

 

The npcs went back to their sandbox routine, generally right after, a couple took a few seconds to get their bearings.

3rd Round.

 

A. Location: Custom house as above, sleeping guest room. Sex started by SexLab_LoversComfort (Autonomously).

     On bed, male-female, "Arrok Standing hugfuck". No far aprt, no misalignement, no clipping, no jumps or scattering. Only a bit clipped one "inside" the other. Ends normally.

     Male returned to sleep on the same bed (was of the female before), female goes to her sandbox routine after some seconds (stand on bed for five-six seconds before).

 

B. Locations:  Fort Dawnguard and Ruunvald Cave. Sex started by SexLab_RandomAttack (autonomously) set to "crazy".

    NPCs fuck like rabbit everywere but no far apart problems. One clipping problem with two NPCs doing it "inside" a bench and, after two seconds, misaligned (male "inside" the female body and both "inside" the bench). Anyhow, they all returned to their sandbox routines after the end. Almost immediately, no problem. In the Ruunvald Cave almost the same. All fucking like rabbit. All without severe clipping and without far apart teleports. Returned to their sandbox routines almost immediately after the end.

    One case I killed the male actor during sex. His body stay dead floating about one meter above the ground. No CTDs.

I've seen an error that causes malfunction in textures of NudeSuit.

 

CK/ArmorAddon/SexLabNudesuit/Skin Texture(male and Female)/None,

 

You need change "None" to "SexLabNudeSuitMTexture" and "SexLabNudeSuitFTexture"

 

I take this opportunity to ask for an option to change also texture face. Would be nice to add injured face in agressive sex like this:

@aravis7 I think we don't need any of that because we already have.

 

"SexLab rape" or "SexLab Submit" use the aggressive animations from SexLab, and you can combine with nudesuit options, the only you need is change the textures for other with wounds like "Injured Bodies and Faces mod" that also has face textures with wounds:

...but the SexLab nudesuit option don't change the texture face.

Addendum.

Happened once inside Breezehome (custom modified "SuperSimpleBreezhome" mod that has a guest room with one bed just before the main bedroom).

 

Sex started by SexLab_LoversComfort. Male (custom NPC guest in the house) and Female (Lydia Housecarl). "AP Kneeling blowjob".

Error:  full misalignement, male standing wrong facing (opposite to Lydia), distance between the two about two in game meters (the lenght of the bed), both actors on the floor near the bed.

          Sex action completed this way. NPC on their sandboxes (sleep in their own beds) after the end.

I seriously doupt that Skyrim by default has moans and sexual voices for those races. So they have to be made before they are included. Thats propably the reason why no mod has any. Unfortunately in porn videos, (a possible source of female voices) they tend to avoid sex with snakes or cats (at least as far as I know) so finding or making such voices might be tricky.

 

I would like to see something like that too but I dont see it happening.

Actually the sounds they make when they get hit could make great moaning sounds(maybe not sexy as a pornstars'  but they're all character specific)just something like what Sanguine's Debauchery made about the sounds would be good

 @follardo: I know but there is nothing in the rape animations we currently have that could justify face injury (we'd need a foreplay with rough undressing or something like that). And for custom textures there could be a lot of compatibility problems (nobody use the same face texture), that's why decals are much better.

All the animations work fine for me except the rough sex animations, which only seem to play during rape events and not during consensual sex.

 

I start the sex events using the MatchMaker mod, because SexLab doesn't come with it's own spells to trigger animations. Everything I have so far is up to date, and all animations have been accounted for in FNISGeneratorforusers.

 

The rough sex animations are ticked as part of the animation rotation, and yet it somehow isn't played when cycling though the animations by pressing 'O'. Every other animations (AP and Arrok's work fine though).

@aravis7. I think a mod of rape when the animation is activated with health below 20% and after being hit by a sword, arrows and magic, is sufficient justification. Of course, no one uses the same texture of face, but I see no problem, you can put your custom face texture as you do now with the body texture (data\textures\SexLab).

There seem to be a small problem when you initiate animations, and you stand too close to an object or wall. after the act is finished 8/10 times a ctd occurs. This ctd is only when standing too close to an object other then that no crashes.

strange..i have make same 4 time (for test the position hotkeys) , place my characters between an wardrobe and wall (yeah the sex scene was totally messed ^^ men in women body and women ridding head of the men etc.. ) but when its finish, i have my men fall out of the game (fall out in the infini ^^) and reappear in the room 2 or 3 seconde after, no CTD or anything....

 

same than if i go in an cave with 35 follower in fact, my men fall out of the map and reapear after in the map. ^^

For animation makers:

 

I found out when there might/will be alignment problems.

That happens when the NPC COMs are too close together

 

ie when aligning NPC roots of the actors in 3dsMax and then the NPC COMs are well place apart (eg in arrog doggy) then all is fine

when they are close together (as there are in rough behind), there will be probelms

 

so animation makers should make sure that the NPC COMs of the actors are well apart (after aligning NPS roots)

 

 

ps. i did confirm this with extensively playing around with those animations in 3dsMax and reloading them skyrim)

 

pps: that means i know howto fix (all?) those animations (i had probelms with). but it'll be a lot of work since they don't re-import well into 3dsMax. better the original makers would see that the NPC COMs are placed further apart. with the original 3dsMax files it wouldn't be too much work.

This got mentioned on the second page but I am not sure if it was ever revisited as the person who mentioned it didn't provide any details-

 

The mod is not saving my hot key for Reverse Direction Modifier- It always defaults to shift.  

 

While I am on the MCM menu page it allows me to highlight the option and prompts me to change it like normal and shows me the button I changed it to, however after I close the menu and go back in, the hotkey is defaulted back to shift again for that one option.  The other options seem to have saved my hotkey settings.

Instigated a threesome between two male NPCs with a female PC using the SexLab Romance plugin.  What resulted was the PC doing animations somewhat correctly with the second male NPC, while the first was many feet away.  It also spawned two NPCs around my PC, and at the end of the sex sequence, the game crashed.  Haven't tried that SAE file you posted yet for the crashing, but I figured the alignment and NPC spawning issues were something you should know about.

Hotfix release of SexLab, v1.01 released.

 

Changlog over v1.0 / Rev 4c

 

  • Fixed facial expression sticking when out of stamina, in combat, and when swimming.
  • Changed all instances in mod of playidle() to sendanimationevent()

 

Version upgrade over v1.0 / Rev 4c does not require a full clean process, just clear your animation registry.
