Optional as in have guards always pestering you or as in having them not approach at all?

Can you not disable fame starts to prevent them (and probably debug clear status after)?

 

Actually just clearing status might get rid of eligibility forever due to a bug right now - has this been broken?

Oh!  Never tried that!

 

Bad news is I'm not in a position to test it right now.  I'll do that when I can

 

I'd suggest that for practical purposes you meantime just carry on with what you've got in hand and don't risk screwing that up for this piece of quaintness

 

I'll try out what you've suggested when I can and let you know what happens

Disabling the mod worked even without cleaning the save after upgrading. 

 

Also I have an idea how guilds might use the PW to their own advantage and thus, negate plot holes regarding them. It’s quite simple (but propably not the best lore wise) and in most cases might require just a few dialogues to be added - PC should be requested by the guild to go to the Jarls court to secure „something” for the faction he/she represents. For example Companions might want to send PC to Solitude and Windhelm to secure their neutrality, Thieves Guild might sent someone to the court to improve their PR in Riften.

The guild should act surprised if PC become the PW but since she/he secured what they wanted they should not do anything about that (at least maybe until he/she become very important, then they should at least try to propose something (or someone) else)

 

Also I would like to suggest further integration with devious devices and separate orgasm - particurarly adding some random events like:

- client wants to bind the player before sex but will he unbing and reward the PW afterwards?
- clients should not pay if they didn’t orgasm, also they might give extra tip if PW orgasmed (or not, depending what they wanted) - her/his job is to make people feel good, both by fulfilling their needs and by tickling their egos, also it might have an added benefit of balancing PW in late game when PC might struggle to orgasm but her/his level is so high that gold per level might reduce her gold quota to just a few sex scenes

- wearing chastity belt and bra should be a big no no, PW should be punished for that severely, customers know that and use that to their advantage

- bondage furniture gambling/torture devices testing - player might ask Thane about decreasing the quota, he/she might provide additional way of doing it - PW should be sent to local inn as a living gambling machine, she should be locked in a series of bondage furniture, in customers would be betting how long it would take to get out of them - same story with prison but audience should consist only of jailers and their main official goal would be testing how long it might take for prisoners to escape.

 

Another thing - it would be nice to see some tourist in places which have their own Public Whores

 

And I would like to remind my previous idea about more personal relationship between PW and the Jarl which I posted a while ago, it might fit the mod even more now after the Wintehold quest was added.

So I noticed in the fame section that once I had completed the quest at the western watch tower I wasn't classified as the dragonborn? Or do I need to complete the horn of Jurgen windcaller, aka the point when the DragonBorn DLC starts.

@Visio Diaboli Not sure if this is related to Bimbos of Skyrim but for some reason I got PW sex events failing so that the sex doesn't start and instead of the sex scene that should happen my character is in endless masturbation loop. I could stop the death loop of masturbation with disabling Bimbos of Skyrim but when I enabled PW logging I get event messages:

On masturbation end:

PW: SexQueueManager: not dequeuing because there was no actor at index 1
PW: SexQueueManager: not sending sex queue event because invalid hook was given
PW: SexQueueManager: received Sexlab sex end event

 

On masturbation start:

PW: SexQueueManager: not sending sex queue event because invalid hook was given


Not sure if this is related but I got the queue bug few times in situations that there was big room and there was no close by npcs or the npcs were behind pillar.. That time I fucked Ancano and when I tried to start PW sex with enthir he just stood up and kept watching as my character went to masturbation limbo.

Now all is working fine.

Just disapointed about sex detecting crowds, npcs are working separate from each other, no group cooperation.

Sorry If I am late to the party. Tried latest version 1.2.1, upgraded from version 1.1.2 version, did not start a new game, Guards approarch you quickly to take you to thane, guards react quickly if you are not wearing proper garb.  However the public crowding didn't work said a crowd was forming and nothing happened.  Also no appraches for sex waited a long time half day. And if you ask if they want to use whore, and they agree, no sex initiated.  As I said I did not start new game and this may be the problem. Hope this helps.

Just thinking outloud - if there is a way to make this compatible with Spectator Crowds, that might be useful in the queuing system. Otherwise, you'd probably have npcs interacting with each other and not the player, thus making scenes either take forever, or just hangup because of stalled npcs.

I think it's when you turn in the horn, or shortly after. Basically at some point where the greybeards officially confirm you're the dragonborn

Gangbangs are coming to the sex queueing system soon, there'll be some % chance that it grabs the next 2-4 queue members and does them all at once

Do you remember how this started? From an approach/solicitation, and did you get a message box saying NPCs were gathering around?

I'm not sure; spectator crowds should be trying to do a similar thing to the sex queue packages. Haven't looked at Spectator Crowds' API, maybe there's some way to pause it so that I could do that while a queue exists.

I have several questions:
1. If you activate sexual intercourse through the "queue" function, all NPCs that are involved at the same time start to run several animations.
2. If you play as a vampire, then some NPCs become aggressive after sex.
I don't understand what is the problem?

3. In my opinion, from a logical point of view, if the main character has the status of "Dragonborn", then it makes sense to immediately put on a gag, from a safety point of view, especially if the player is resisting. It is logical that the most dangerous weapon - the hero's mouth - must be shut up. Open the gag will be for good behavior.

4. It seemed to me interesting quests with Belethor in Whiterun, this idea can be developed. Merchants and innkeepers learned that Dovakin helped Beletor with sales and decided to also ask the hero for a favor. Innkeepers can ask a Dovakin to work for them to increase the attendance of the tavern. These quests can be completed after the quota is over.

5. You can do other quests. For example, if Dovakin is the property of the city while the quota is running, then the city has the right to give different instructions. Help in the stable, visit the barracks so that the guards are delighted.

6. The townspeople, in theory, should be more willing to harass the main character when he ceased to be a public whore, because this means that you do not have to pay.

7. I am against executions and harsh violence, but this is more interesting for anyone. It's strange to kill someone who can help the city kill the dragon and earn a lot of money. These are purely my thoughts.

8. There is a punishment system, but in my opinion, the reward system can also be applied. Or just give some bonuses if the hero is not mistaken.

Public Whore v1.2.1 has been working -- so far -- with the latest Skyrim AE versions:

  • Skyrim AE [1.6.640.0] and all DLCs
  • Skyrim Script Extender 64 (SKSE64) [2.2.3]
  • SexLabFrameworkAE_v165
  • Devious Devices [SE][AE][VR] 5.2 Beta 9
  • ZaZ Animation Pack+ CBBE HDT V8.0+SEREV3

Unfortunately, I found one glitch per Skyrim AE:

 

Game Saves within Palace of the Kings are written to disk, but are not listed on the main menu when you attempt to resume a saved game.  (This is not related to corrupt games that fail to load.)

 

From what I've found, the cell name you use -- PW_PalaceOfKings -- should not have an underscore character.  It should simply be named PWPalaceOfKings.

 

This is a common problem I have encountered with upgraded Skyrim LE mods that use an underscore within their cell names.

 

If anyone needs to reload a game that was saved, change the save number (as there will likely be duplicates) and remove the underscore character after "PW".

That is strange because I can load saves in the PW Palace of Kings from the main menu. I have several that I used for testing.

Offering my character to Ulfric in the new quest doesn't do anything, no sex scene initiates. This is with the latest version 1.2.1 I believe? Not sure how to progress the quest at the moment.

 

EDIT: Actually, it seems the entire quest is broken past the stage where I swear the oath. No dialogue options, or conversely dialogue options that don't do anything. I must have a conflicting mod or something, but I have no idea what it would be. Never had any other problems with PW before, so maybe this is a new issue.

Are you also using Bimbos of Skyrim? Because @poporaltemporal mentions the problem going away when BoS is disabled, but that doesn't definitively mean that it's the root of the issue. Basically I'm trying to figure out if this is my problem or Visio Diaboli's.

I just got hit with the endless masturbation loop bug, after Soliciting a whiterun guard.

Also ran into an issue in which "no approachers were available" in a crowded tavern.

When I used the debug tools it said many of them failed a faction check. This was in Whiterun a few days after the cw battle there. Didn't run into any issues in Solitude earlier.

 

I don't have bimbos of skyrim installed either

After updating and either being approached/approaching someone for sex, animation just doesn't start, nothing. Is there some solution to that?

I had this when upgrading without save cleaning. You may try to disable mod, save load and enable again, maybe it will work.

Now have problems with Improving Whiterun (PW_WhiterunStart) quest.

After asking jarl about job PWTane have no dialog about jarl send me (that was in previous version)

Quest stage is 10. Setting stage to 20 advance to ask 5 people.

But after completing and have task to return to PWTane, he again have no dialog.

Normal dialog as in all towns is ok, and it is present when Whiterun quest is running.

 

Can someone check this in own game?

No I don't have that installed

 

EDIT: I believe what may be happening here is that there is sometimes too much of a gap between the topic ending and the fragment function executing, and so the game is no longer correctly holding akSpeakerRef, so passes None to the topic fragment function.

 

I think this could be avoided by setting the topics to non-goodbye if they aren't already.

 

I can't find any documentation of this but I could swear I saw it as an issue somewhere else a few years ago.
