A debugging option to end all follow scripts would be extremely helpful, since sometimes (frequently) they just break during queue events and you have NPCs following you forever. Currently the only fix I've found for this scenario is to revert to a previous save. Something that released all queued NPCs (either from the spectator's queue or the threesome "let's find a third" event) would make it safer to enable these options again.

This has been an issue with every PW build I've used, for both LE & SE. Currently I'm on 1.2.4 on SE 1.5.97.

Do you know of a way to end this follower mob - I'm on 1.24 and SE 1.5.97. I thought this was a feature of forced whoring, but I guess not! I am too far forward in Saves to be able to revert, sadly. I'd hate to have to drag them to a dungeon and make them fight for their lives to solve the problem ha ha

Sadly no. None of the debugging options I tried worked when I found myself in that situation.

Just try to find dangerous situations for them and disable the threesome event, spectator audiences, and queue forming going forward.

Oh but I can't live without those options ha ha!

That's too bad, though! Well, I've lost a few on my travels so far - they keep falling to various dangers. I feel like the rest stopped following after I fast-traveled to Riften - a place where I'm already a PW. Could be my imagination though and I didn't notice those last few get devoured by a mudcrab. ?

As an experiment, since I've been able to resurrect submitted and enslaved characters to a vanilla state after death, I silent submitted one, then used the "kill" command, and resurrected her. And you know what that lady did? She immediately started clapping her hands and following me. Now THAT'S dedication.

Yes and yes, click on Raloof and disable him in console.  Thats the only way to make it stop.  :)

Thanks a lot, for my game horses are invisible, so go command "prid 120838EB" then "disable" it worked

Hi all, long-time listener, first-time caller, great fan of the mod, and all that.  Simple concept, pretty stable, integrates cleanly.  I'm dropping out of lurk mode for a suggestion/request/question.

I think that the Skyrim prison/crime/law system sucks for an immersive roleplaying run, but there also aren't any great mods for it.  POP and PA are probably the best ones out there right now, looking at both SL and vanilla+ options.  I get it, an immersive but also non-tedious prison system is hard to design.  So this is where I like to use PW.  Both POP and PA can send you to Simple Slavery++, and MCM option setting in both SS++ and PW can send you back to that city in enforced mode.  Also, it looks like PA now has a "straight to PW" mode upon release, which is way better, and new since the last time I configured a new game.

So far, so good, but it could still be better.  PW can be configured to give an absurdly long sentence in terms of clients or gold, but that gets tedious and I'm still trying to actually play Skyrim, right?  But "go service 25 clients and you're done" isn't really a strong punishment.

So, the suggestion/request.  Add a "Public Whore Forever" option to the mod.  You enter the PW system through any normal condition, but after the quota ends, you still get treated as the PW in that city forever.  Approaches are made at the same frequency, weapon/nudity rules are enforced, and punishment point accumulation happens.  You can go back into quota mode at any time through the standard start conditions.  Roleplaying-wise, the city is saying "You're the PW forever because of your crime, but if you want to self-exile yourself after your current quota is done, then we'll turn a blind eye."  At least for the crime version.

I thought I could mimic this by turning on "endless" mode at the right time, but that setting is universal, not per-city, and my experiment wasn't really successful.

And now the question.  I know the mod isn't being actively worked on right now.  So how hard would it be to make this update myself?  Looking for an "expert opinion" on the complexity.  I haven't done Skyrim mods before, but I have coded before, and I think that mod scripts can be decompiled and edited, right?

I think that this would be as simple as adding a "PWForever" variable to be set, and then a bunch of city variables like "PWForeverWhiterun" that get set when first entering PW mode in a city.  Then update most of the interaction checks from "if currently PW in this city" to "if currently PW or is forever PW in this city", update the service extension to start quota mode rather than extend it when reaching a punishment threshhold, and I think that's it?  Also maybe remove the option to have the PW tattoos taken off; they have to stay forever?

If the mod developer or anybody else wants to quickly add this mode, then you'll get my thanks, but I think I'm mostly asking "is this a hard thing to do for someone who doesn't have any Skyrim modding experience, but isn't scared off by learning new tools and writing some code?"  Don't know if I want to learn an entire modding toolchain, but maybe.

Or am I totally off, and I couldn't get the access that I'd need from a compiled mod?

Editing to add -- I guess I'm also assuming that Visio Diaboli is okay with the idea.  Thinking about it, I guess I'm asking "how can I take somebody else's work and change it without so much as a by-your-leave," which isn't really how I mean it, sorry.

Have you tried targeting them in the console and typing "resetai" or "recycleactor?" Not sure if it would help here, but those commands have saved me when an NPC's AI was bugged. Think of recycleactor as the more extreme option, resetai is pretty self explanatory, it's supposed to reset their behaviour so say if they're aggressive they might drop out of combat mode. recycleactor puts them back in their starting location and seems to be effective when resetai isn't enough to free them from whatever's making them act weird, but it can also break certain things. I definitely wouldn't use this on a follower, devious or otherwise, but for random NPCs it's probably safe?

Not sure if it would work though, depends how spectators function and I have no idea about that. It might not even be part of their AI, in which case this wouldn't do much. recycleactor should still send them back where they're supposed to be I'm pretty sure, so it would take time for them to track you down again at least. Maybe enough time that they'd be gone long enough for you to do a dungeon, or maybe they'll come running back straight into danger, like an exceptionally devoted stalker. I've also used "tai" with recycleactor so they just stand perfectly still wherever they're supposed to be, and you can switch their brain back on when you see them next. They might end up hidden though, so you might forget about them while they're in their house being a statue.

So I had a working follower approach but I had no follower. If I have a follower the approach is not showing the mods dialogue but instead every normal dialogue that NPC has.

hey so I downloaded all the mods that you need for this and it wont work I went to both places to start the quest and its still not working

The MCM gives you some debugging options, including the option to make your PC the Public Whore. I would try that for starters.

Is it intended that sexual fame always uses PWs internal system now, and SLSF only as an optional addon? Cause tbh Id rather have SLSF deal with the sexual fame aspect, the PW fame goes up too fast for my taste. Right now I have like 400 fame from the PW system (which seems to be globally too, not per city) and only a measly 20 fame in SLSF. So according to SLSF im basically a prude, but PW wants to make me the public whore anyway lol.

about fame. i dont use it at all and have disable fame start, but my log is still full of it. it may be good to have option to disable it completely.

PW's system is also by city

Is it possible to push the job of Public Whore onto a follower?

And if not are there alternatives to this?

Not that I'm aware of. The purpose of the mod is to make the PC the PW.

If you're looking to turn your follower into a prostitute, I believe most prostitution mods have that functionality.

I am getting random submissive fame, when basically doing nothing. How is it calculated?

Wearing a collar or any other devious device will probably trigger it. Theoretically some tattoos could also, but I haven't seen that work reliably.

Yah, it seems like certain items or armor pieces in certain slots will trigger it.

In my case it seems like it's slot 45.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like there is a feature to toggle the fame on or off, for the specific slot/armor piece.

I imagine there's a way to to it via SSEEdit, unless it's a script.

Windhelm: I left the service of the jarl and as PW and went to the stables ouside the city. Suddenly I get a message that Raloof (jarls horse) wants to breed again. He moves close but nothing further happens.

I use endless quota in all holds and dont want to lose so many slots of slavetats. So had to merge all towns tatoos in one. Maybe this option had to be in mod.

You can also increase your max overlays in the skse ini if you haven't already. Or just use the Whore of the Realm tat if you're concerned about actual real estate and want to put different tats in those parts of her body..

Actually that's not a bad idea...an universal tattoo for ALL the holds if you've been a PW at least once at each hold.  It'd be a great quest.

Imperial and Stormcloak tattoos for servicing the Civil War sides would be awesome although Troubles of Heroine has something like that (although not the tattoos part)

thank you for the mod, just a question about the fame notifications that come up from time to time, the ones that say you are gaining fame for slutty behavior or whatever. After a while in game i stop getting the notifications and I'm not sure why. I changed the hidden slot in devious devices, this is the only change i think of, could this cause the notifications to stop?

has anyone else had the notifications stop coming up?
