maxqazwsxedc Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 The follower function doesn't work for a lot of people, I had the problem and it seems to be caused by follower framework, used the "send follower to game slot" function and it immediately work as intended

If I enable debug notifications in the console I see repeatedly "attempting eligibility guard approach" and then "guard not fount". I looked a bit at the script. From what I can tell the guards must be in the guard faction (they are) and they must not be unique (they are not). The only mod that affects guards is one that I tried to go in the guard tower where there are only guards, 1 actor found in the scan -> no guard found. I think it is bugged.

IIRC, it is looking for a specific (yet not unique) guard of all the guards in town. So you need to go everywhere there are guards in Markarth to find him... the guard house, around town on patrol, in the Keep, out front of the mine (maybe even inside the mine but outside the prisoner area), outside the front gate, further out in the guard towers, over at the little mine, and all the way to the guard that patrols to the first bridge. One of them has been appointed to approach you.

Cause looking at the scripts it seems that it looks for a guard with nothing specific, just a guard.

One time I had it happen in Solitude and the chosen guard was the one right in front of the EEC Warehouse. If I hadn't been down there for whatever quest I was on I'd have never been approached.

And I would also like that after the completion of the quest with Ulfric, after the player is teleported from the palace, the messenger no longer brings invitations. I understand that the quest is designed for the main character with severe mental retardation, but not to the same extent)

An NPC ran up to my character, not even vanilla, but from a completely different mod, as soon as I made a teleport to Markarth, I immediately ran up. But I returned to the old version of the mod.

I actually fixed the problem by modifing the script that tries to start the eligibility approach. I changed how the guard is searched to be identical to the method used in 1.1.4. PogIsDog Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. Very good , very fun mod but it seems either the bug fixes that were made needed to spam the console to work or the creator is cooking something up really soon. I can't wait to see more!!

FireSplitter Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 Can I propose a recommendation to be able to disable the submissive fame gain? The idea is nice but it does not work well with other mods that equip collar on you (I guess that is the source of fame). The effect is that PW could pull you out of those mod's chain thus breaking stuff around. One example can be the SS enslavement scenarios, where you are taken as a slave. Fame will gain continuously and you may end up pulled by PW, breaking the slavery scenario. One example is Red Wave, where guards do spawn as clients.
