I do need to know if this mod is SE compatible since it's listed as regular Skyrim and the SE compatability is just blank. I did go a few pages back to see if I could find any mention of it. With a deep sense of regret I have to admit that either I'm unlucky - or here and now this mod can serve well as death/punishment alternative ONLY. Spoiler Went to Whiterun with brand-new character. Asked the official pimp if I'm allowed to do some prawn hustle. Was accepted. Met the quota of 27 persons. In 1 (one) day (instead of demanded 7 days). Some people failed to pay - but even in worst case scenario I had spare cash to turn in, it was enough to cover the difference. Reported to pimp. Got "hey, guards told me you served more people" response o_O Got "promoted" from voluntary to involuntary "worker" o____O With literally NO option to alleviate the situation by any other means. OK, all Gold disappeared. OK. Few coins here and there were indeed stolen. But I've carried 2k worth of stuff on me. Give me a chance to sell it or confiscate it or whatnot dammit! Not mentioning that Common Sense sez that commoners not paying for Jarl's property usage are pimp's problem, not worker's. That's at least 30% of pimp's work, you know. I do understand that, as with SLUTS, it could be a trick to... how should I call it... enroll the Player. SLUTS give enough clues on what to expect for a Player willing to ponder what he'll gonna get himself into. SS++ dumps the Player. Literally. Which is... somewhat justified (the man from DD cohort which was brave enough to state that "Skyrim Is Misogynic" was both brave AND right) - but having a backup plan (or some extra red flags to show the Player that he's about to do an irrecoverable mistake) would be really, really nice. Looks like not much of a problem at first sight. However, unless the Player made a save sometime prior to initiating voluntary whoring - his savegame will be ruined. Because of necessity to either replay huge chunk of content and avoid the issue - or accept the consequences he was unable to foresee (i. e. lack of choice after that barely noticeable point of no return).

Did you have enforced mode active? From the first page: Quote Edit 2: I think if you manage to get punished it will take your inventory and then not return it if enforced mode is on. Not an ideal approach to it but it is one way to do it Edit 3: I just had the enforced mode inventory take option off, it's in On-duty Settings->Enforced Mode-> Inventory Taken I tested the mod a few times without enforced mode, and after finishing her quota (always a bit more, because some bastards don't pay), my character always successfully stopped being the PW.

Query. Were gangbangs happening during your tests? I remember that SOME gangbangers DIDN'T counted while some DID counter. I have a funny feeling that it could mess things up. Like UI quest counter counting real servings - but "real" quest counter counting anyone laid, regardless of if it was a part of The Job. (like, some other integration, which allowed chaining sexual acts together, messed things up. I'm fairly certain that I do have some mod of this kind enabled. Just can't recall which was it)

If you mean queues, yes, there were some. I also had the quota set to people and them reporting to the thane, with a chance of not reporting at all. But I always got the chance to stop or continue, never had a situation like yours.

Probably one more culprit. I was not using that option (because I THOUGHT that since I've disabled all Gold-depriving events in similar mods - I'll be OK). Which doesn't make much sense in combo with "can't leave the hold' option anyway. That's probably enough intel to assemble a list of options which won't screw things up as spectacularly next time. (I have an urge to do some code diving just to check which particular thing could cause this - although my hardware probably won't handle that...)

IIRC, if you turn in an exact quota, you get "promoted." If you turn in even one more, you get to go on your way. This is very much a screw-you-over mod if you don't specifically exclude settings like non-payment, etc. in the MCM. Personally, I use PW as a consequence mod with Simple Slavery ++ so I have a really compelling reason not to take on or to run from fights with poor odds. If you want a straight prostitution mod, I'd suggest using this or this mod instead.

Partial incompatibility with AC sucks though. I'll probably have to remove AC and use FMEA as a counter-balance for constant sneaking or something then.

The creature quests have to be unlocked and they either tell you what they are or strongly imply their nature, so you can just not ever do them. I've never bothered with them myself. 1
The Ashen Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Is there a way I can add locations that are added by other mods to be included in a given city for the purposes of not getting punished? And then a small suggestion. I play with endless mode, but its definitely annoying to have to go to the thane to turn in gold. Could you make it where you can turn in gold to any guard and you must go to the Thane to get "your cut". Maybe with a difficulty option where a guard will keep a portion of the gold as a "convivence fee"

What are the conditions that must be met to trigger the scene? Or is there a way to reset variables to trigger it again (in case it broke or was interrupted)?

No changes to scripts or script fragments, but it makes the following dialogue and dialogue condition adjustments if anyone wants to try it: Modified condition to Thane dialogue "I want to be the public whore again" so that being 'eligible' as PW does not prevent the PC from volunteering as PW. Changed 'hero fame' PW startup dialogue so that the initial PC 'intimidate' option to decline PW service is not automatic but instead requires an intimidation check like other similar PW intimidate/decline options. Revised 'hero fame' start dialogue so that a prior PW in the hold can go through a somewhat shortened PW start dialogue, adjusted to reflect prior PW experience. Added condition to comment "While I'm at it, I'll take this too" so that sadistic clients can only steal PC items when stealing is enabled in the PW MCM. Added conditions to Thane dialogue "Who are you?" and "What does that mean?" so that this dialogue doesn't appear when the PC has already been PW in the hold. Revised Thane 'job finished' dialogue so that the Thane assumes the PC will continue as PW, though the choice to leave PW service remains available. PWPatchv1.0forPWv1.2.4.7z 6

Hello, I love this mod, but I am having the same issue. The game crashes when my character leaves the Palace in Windhelm, after being dismissed from the feast by Ulfric. I'm not sure how to fix it, but I would love to be able to finish the playthrough of PW. One poster (who this also happened to) pointed out that it might have something to do with the dialogue. It does seem that way to me as well. 2 dialogue boxes come up while the player is on a loading screen and when they exit into Windhelm the game crashes.

Thus, filenames with extra underscores will not be processed. In contrast, no other Skyrim AE cell name includes an underscore character (no matter how long or intuitively expected), for example: Save299_A79CE23B_1_53756D6D6572_ccEEJSSE002MageTowerSecond_011550_20230708003227_31_1.skse Save299_A79CE23B_1_53756D6D6572_ccEEJSSE002MageTowerSecond_011550_20230708003227_31_1.ess Thus, I suggest you rename "PW_PalaceOfKings" to "PWPalaceOfKings". Players like myself want to save and reload games to see how different "Show of Strength" dialog options play out.
