Ok, I've just finished PW duty, but I missed collecting a few people's payment so I got punished a few times before I finished. How do I get rid of the debuff?

It should gradually wear off over several days. If you check buffs and debuffs in the magic menu, every x days (I don't recall the exact number) you should see a decrease in the severity.

Is there a way to disable the " you have gained a reputation for " messages ? ( I think it's from this mod, correct me if I'm wrong )

Nope, It only stops if I disable PW, but thanks for trying to help.

It is caused by Sexlab Sexual Fame, you do anything lewd it registers and PW has many things that cause that.
If you have that mod, just disable the debug option in MCM.

Are you sure about that?  These messages are from Public Whore's PW_FameScript, and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn them off.

Oddly enoough, I never seem to gain any exhibition or whoring fame from the built in system.

Since updating to the latest version,  Current Total for Hero Fame has remained at 0 both during a level 20 player character playthrough and presently in a level 5 character playthrough. 

Is it possible that upgrading from the previous version to the current version could have caused this?  I'm thinking of uninstalling PW,  clean the save and reinstall PW.

Uninstalling, cleaning saves and reinstalling did the trick.  Losing all those (in)fame points isn't a big deal..my PC's will get them back superfast.  ?

v1.2.5 is up with a few bugfixes, let me know if there are critical usability issues with it. Clean save always recommended.

i have never been able to get the hero fame working. i always start with credit for 2 quests (possible bc of alternate start: live another life), and after that no quests ever count towards the fame. any help or ideas appreciated

I just went through the Show of Strength quest, but now I'm experiencing the same CTD a few others have when sent out into windhelm as the public whore.

Has anyone found the reason and possible fix for this yet?

 

It was a great quest, but if there's no known fix to this Crash I'll probably just have to revert to a previous save and just not do it at all, which would be a shame.

running latest version of PW on LE and my PC is in Dead Mans Drink in Falkreath. my PC is currently PW and when sex scenes start and a crowd gathers, it appears to go through everyone but the PC is locked after and unable to move. have no idea what is causing the problem as it worked fine until i went from 1.24 to 1.25

I haven't had a chance to be PW since the update so I don't have any specific help for this instance, but when this happens in general you can try the console command "epc" which is short for "enableplayercontrols", though it doesn't always work.  If you have either BaboDialogue or Captive Dreams installed, both of those have a function in their MCM to return control to player.

Hmm, I'm trying the Windhelm event after the update, and besides the initial masturbation scene, no Sexlab scenes have started.  The narration boxes keep going as if each section of sexlab scenes finish, but they never happen.  Could someone else try the Windhelm event and see if it works for them?

After the new update my submissive score just keeps going up but was at zero before and have changed nothing on my PC, anyone got a idea why ? and am not got any DD on , just bikini armour and YPS earings. and SLF set to normal, on AE

I can confirm the same issue. Started the Windhelm event and no sex scenes are working, other mod sex scenes are working normal.
