Quote The master plugin - the plugin that defines a new record - decides the form ID. It can not be changed by plugins overriding the record. Compacting means that form IDs of new records that are outside the limits are changed so they are within the limits. And since ESPFE plugin takes first 3 digits of the record it only leaves xxxxxFFF space for records. A lot of patched records have at least 5 digits, although I am not sure how espfe will handle those. Compacting is totally not an option. it will just renumber singular records that are not override and do fit the ESL space. PseudoESL mode denies those plugins from ability to be turned into a lite-plugin. Feel free to test it out and report the results tho, would be interesting how big patches behave with espfe flag. Edit: Quote They work great for compatibility patches because they usually only contain overrides of records that were added by a previously loaded plugin, and any plugin that only contains such overrides can be easily converted to ESPFE. I can't post replication steps because I don't know how it is happening myself. I had dropped some devices on the ground (character was overweight), and while hunting in the same area (Lake Illinalta) suddenly several of the devices I dropped re-equipped themselves. I checked their modifiers, they all had sentient and nothing else. I had no other devices equipped after I dropped the ones on the ground.

This mod doesn't have anything to do with onDrop device equip. Unless they are bugged somehow. See self-bondage feature toggles in DCL MCM menu. Edited August 13, 2022 by BreadDain 2

Actually, the only mod I have that does anything with devices (besides place them around the world aka Laura's Bondage Shop and Deviously Enchanted Chests) is Unforgiving Devices.

I.e. it could have been not Sentient when was dropped and got it only after being somehow equipped the last time. I agree with @BreadDain here - it sure sounds like another mod is in play, unrelated to UD. 1

While spamming S, the game will get stuck sometimes when Toys is doing something to its "Rousal" stat and shows the corresponding widget. I tried disabling everything related to it, but no result (even when rousal doesn't change, it can still show its widget for no reason). I could just delete Toys, but it's required by another mod I wanted to try UPDATE^ Never mind, it's not Toys. Lockpicking gets stuck even without it sometimes while spamming S, but fixing it in the debug panel helps. So basically I changed S hotkey to mousewheel (scroll down) and it seems like the script can't always handle such fast inputs and gets stuck somewhere (no idea if it works on any machine with different mods and settings). Also I was dumb and didn't read the guide which says I don't need the special key in some mini games, although due to what I said it still affects stamina decrease (makes it a bit slower sometimes, because I think all inputs are still processed which takes time). It creates an interesting new mechanic - spamming the special key slows down stamina decrease :)) But since it's all not intended(?) and binding S to mousewheel for cutting minigame borders with exploiting, I won't complain Although I was having fun with difficult settings (wrapped in hard sentient devices with orgasm manifest plugs and piercings), cutting a hard device without mousewheel just takes too much time and toll on the S key lol. 1

As @notwavman said, it just looks like coincidence. Every new device that is equipped have random chance of having sentiente modifier. Also, did some message show up when they were equipped? But it should make the minigame little faster as the skill will not increase every now and then, which is quite performance heavy. If the inputs are too fast (like inhuman fast, or if user have slower PC), the stack can be suspended. Basically, the whole script will get stack untill all stacks are done. Will think about a way to make pressing special button less hardcore. Maybe every press will be counted like 3, or somethink like that.

Any other target being hit - I'm here unsure... Maybe massive damage with a lot of debuffs? And to balance it's being very OP add a little chance, tied to arousal, to have the user being hit with the effect instead. And maybe in future add random encounter, ambush of enemies, armed with such a crossbow or weapons with Abadon poison on it?

When killed, those humanoids will convert the abadon devices to goos, lockpicks and gold on their person, so you farm an insane amount very easily and quickly. For reference, i got 35 black goo and 21 concentrated goo, 11 lockpicks and around 400 gold from a bandit like this. I discovered this when i thought i could take the abadon devices from the dead enemy, put them on one by one myself for an easier struggle, but the devices got converted to goos instantly instead.

I think it would be nice to lower the gap between hardcore key smahers and people who just want to watch their character struggle, so maybe just process special key only X seconds, so there is no point in spamming it (basically add a cooldown). Yes, I know it, this is why I mentioned it! It's quite clunky to use. Reason is - I have to craft that poison in a quantity and apply it before each shot. Also there's no chance to have a misfire onto the user now, which would make it less OP. Also having Concentrated Device Manifest is overkill, simple Black Goo adding heavy bondage plus one device is enough. Having weapon like this would make motivation to stock up on the Goo. The proposed crossbow might use the goo directly or maybe get goo bolts crafted? So far Abadon weapons with their chance of 25% proven themselves being a bit useless, DCL's Dollmaker is much more useful. Maybe change them to the proposed way too? I.e. make 100% chance of effect on target, some serious damage to non-female targets, use some goo instead of soul gems, get a chance to misfire onto user to add some risk of using them?

Yeah, I know about it but I keep it in as some kind of secret to be discovered for easy farming the ingredients and gold. But I now see that it is too much op. But, the devices should still be destroyed as they are flagged as such. I think I will just add new MCM option, which will toogle item drop from devices that are on dead actors. Weapon having chance of hitting user is nice idea and should be simple to implement. Question is how big the chance should be. 1

I gave it a try and added 3 cages. You can try it and let me know what you think. Added are: Normal cock cage - no special behavier. Can be unlocked with chasitty key and lockpicked Ebonite cock cage - have shock effect. Can be unlocked with chasitty key and lockpicked Ehtereal cock cage - works also as vibrator. Can be only removed by struggling. It is immune to physical dmg, but weak to magical dmg. They all use same keword and slot as vaginal plug. Also, if you wan't to cage to hide under belt, you will have to update device hidder to hide vaginal plugs. Download: Unforgiving Devices - Vivis Cockcages Patch.zip Obviously requires original mod. Also, this is technically not patch, as the mod adds new items in to the game. You will have to get the device with AddItemMenu or somethink. 1
