There are only 4 buttons to use and they can be hardcoded like in SL Defeat (for example A and D could be assigned for LT and RT, player menu key for LB and S key for RB). The device menu can be opened from inventory so it doesn't need a special button and can be assigned as a shout/power if needed.

There's alot of "xxx activates the plug" messages but alot of times it doesnt do anything/nothing gets activated. This happend with the abadon belt and the cursed straitjacket. Â Also, does this run with Devious Devices LE 5.2 Beta 4? I'm still doing this on version 5.1 so i'm curious if the current beta builds break anything or if it works just fine. Â And do you plan on expanding on the abadon stuff? Like a 3rd phase? I'm pretty sure you can go even more unforgiving. For example with a cursed straitjacket hobbledress.

I.e. they get devices added normally through Cursed Loot or Devious Striker, but when start exchanging inventory and clock devices - nothing happens. Then on second click i get message about device being unlocked with the key and inventory item gets transferred to my PCs inventory. But display device remains equipped on the follower until I remove it manually though console. Fun observation - after I remove device this way (unlock and take inventory item, remove display item manually) same device starts to work properly on the follower.

Script has a leak somewhere, probably requires adding a fail save if device is not present or not equipped. To clarify - character doesn't have any devices equipped and there are no other registered characters. Several scripts look to be in a "Wait" state, refreshing themselves constantly every 1 second. I do have some devices in inventory, however, but they are not equipped. Â Spoiler Custom Blindfolds still break UD functionality, their name does not show in UD menu and they cannot be interacted with. Tested on red leather blindfold (custom), didn't check others. Only asking because it often results in me having to reload an earlier save to before the device gets equipped.

You can try it. 1

Maybe as active effect, or passive regeneration over time. Â Tank - provides protection for other devices reducing struggle efficiency. Kind of like "loose" effect with tied hands maybe? Another thing I was thinking it would substitute the target with itself sometimes when player struggles against other devices, but figured it might be too difficult to implement. Â Just thought it would be cool to give some "purely cosmetic" devices priority over the usual "gag/blindfold/belt/plugs first". Edited February 16, 2022 by Lowezar

Having one in inventory and not worn break appropriate device, it will have no menu when clicked in inventory. How to fix: open console, select your character, type command "showinventory". Scroll through the list of items with PgUp/PgDn, look for devices which have no name and not Worn status. Use command "player.removeitem ID 1" where ID is the ID of the item. I do have some devices in inventory, however, but they are not equipped. - OrgasmCheckLoop is called only once when actor equip device for the first time and ends when all devices with UD keywords get removed. It's possible that somehow the render device was removed from slot but it didn't get unequipped (because only render device have the UD keyword). I will give it a look. You can try to take a look in script if the UD_CustomDevice_RenderScript (or their child script) are preset somewhere. Regarding the red leather custom blindfold ... This sounds like you have inflatable plug. When inflatable plug gets inflated, it greatly increase orgasm rate for short time (3s). If its not the inflatable plug, you can try to look at all the vibrator devices to see their orgasm rate. If this is happening when all vibrators are turned off then this is certainly bug.
ihatemykite Posted February 20, 2022 Author Posted February 20, 2022 ANNOUNCEMENT My goal was to upload new beta today but I will not be able to. Reason is I found new bug which I need to fix first. You see, every time I'm about to release new version, I try the version myself so i can see if I didn't fuck up something (like when I forgot to add patches). I'm also developing the mod in LE, but testing it in SE (because I have no development enviroment set for SE, reducing change of undetactable bug for me). Anyway, when testing the mod, after some time I actually got the bug which was mentioned here few times. I'm talking about the bug where render device will stay on actor even after inventory device gets removed and also after it gets unregistered (undetactable in MCM Debug menu). After checking papy logs I think I have some idea what is causing it and implemented some basic fix. BUT I still didn't have time to actually test it (and it is possibly rare issue so I may even be unable to find if it get fixed). I also added fix to MCM Debug Fix option which should remove theese devices. This is tested and it works. Because mostly work only on weekends (except for times when I'm at homeoffice) I will have to push the release for few weeks. Anyway, I have worked on the mod and done some cool things, and so I will at least writte here what is already done. Expression patch: This is little too much to explain so I will again try to explaint it very simly. Basically, the expression system in DD didn't work (at least for me, it is possible I forget somethink, but I doubt it). Only think that ApplyExpression does is open character mouth (and that is true only if function is called with openMouth=true). Calling ApplyExpression with openMouth=false will do nothing. I tried it. So after some very long time of researching how actually expressions in skyrim works, I have patched the DD expression system to make it hopefully work. As before, expression which are used are the one from sexlab framework. So using sexlab MCM expression editor, I created 2 new expressions: Aroused expression: Played when actors orgasm rate is more then orgasm resist Orgasm expression: Player when actor orgasms There are also some other related fixes which I implemented Applying expression will not reset it first. This cause more smooth transition between expressions. Before, applying expressions first caused to reset expression, which you could have best seen if player had gag, because this makes mouth to close. After this fix, applying expression while actor is gagged will not close the mouth. Only issue I have found is that when new device is equipped, expression gets reseted anyway. Didn't found why yet but it's not really that big of the issue. Gag effect will now only affect actor phonems (mouth) so it will not override expression or modifiers. If some of you have cool idea for expression you can export it from sexlab and send it to me. Implementing it with the current system will be breeze. Expressions which I will work on next are Minigame expression Orgasm resist minigame expression Maybe some abadon plug related expression And more variants to orgasm and aroused expression. Maybe the expression will be toggled based on some other conditions (like orgasm forcing etc...) MCM config save Allow user to save MCM settings to file and then to load them. Thats it, not realy much to say about this. Also adds Auto Load option. If this option is selected and then saved, it will cause the settings to get imported automatically when new game beggins. I made this mainly to make it faster for starting new games when debugging. Reworked NPC register system. The current system with auto scan was too much non reliable and it was very resource heavy. For that reason I reworked the system to be more simple Player can press new NPC menu button. This menu will allow to register/unregister actor which player is looking at. Also adds detail button to see NPC details (same as Wearee details on device) Registering NPC this way will automatically fetch devices and adds register them If NPC is registered, device will be registered immidiatly. So the fetch system will be only used for unregistered npcs. Added player menu: Addes new button which allow to open player menu For now only contains 2 options Resist pleasure: Start resist orgasm minigame (nothing is changed, now you will just have to first open this menu and select the option) Details menu: Shows player details (same as Wearee details on device) Using weapons for cutting: Having sharp weapon in inventory will make cutting minigame more efficient. For every poont of weapon dmg will be minigame 1% more efficient. This value can now be seen in actor detail menu Added patch for DD beta 4. Also added boxbinder in to list of random heavy bondage restrains. Will be selectable in FOMOD. And bunch of other thinks. Will keep it as surprise ? 10

Looking forward to the update, although I'm going to take UD out of my load order until the update because the disappearing bug happens a bit too frequently for me, and has broken a few other Devious mods. Looks like it'll be worth the wait though!

Â Unfortunately I think I found a bug, just as I was removing the last abadon piercings they equipped "iron ballet boots" on me. These have the default struggle menu instead of the UD struggle menu. I am not sure if you intend this or not, or whether these were missed in the patch (I am playing w/ DD 5.1 and your patch)

No orgasms, only struggling, yet my sexlab time rate jumped from 10 to 90+ in a matter of minutes. I have time rate on orgasm=3 set up (default is 5), meaning the game counted 30+ orgasms for my character. Maybe there's a hole in the forced orgasm stuff you set up? the arousal/orgasm rate bar works fine, regular sexlab orgasms work fine as well. In any case it's not good because it'll make arousal raise very quickly and mess with your character hard if you don't notice it.  It's very easy to test since the sexlab aroused MCM lets you reset the value manually between tests.  Also, about agility/strength/magic attributes, would it be possible to set them up as the "highest of X, Y, Z value"? I know there are trainers for skills in the game, but having a single skill for each attribute kinda railroads character builds imo. Idea woule be highest of 1h/2h/archery for strength, highest of pickpocket/lockpicking/ (sneak=body flexibility?) for agility, and highest of destruction/alteration for magic. Rusty iron ballet boots are Ok so i think this is bug. Try to report it in DD development thread. Could be crit failing an orgasm resist, could be whenever the orgasm meter appears... in any case it shouldn't count 20+ orgasms when my PC gets none of them because it gets resisted/denied. I only have SLAX and 0 overwrite of its scripts so i don't think my game is borked in that regard. I noticed that while testing a bit in the LaL starting cell. Â 2) i know this system is still very new and subject to change/development. I like where it's currently going. Â edit: also, would it be possible to have more info on the mcm settings "vibe multiplier" and "arousal multiplier" on the "custom arousal" page of your mod? i've tried messing with the values a bit, but arousal multiplier is very obscure (not much change observable as player). the vibe multiplier is straightforward but i have trouble seeing how it correlates to the arousal/orgasm rate values we get, and how to read the detailed entries of plugs -> how do i read "vibe strength 20(80)" for example ? Original character still had the problem, although I think it was because of a bugged renderdevice. Once I got that removed, it behaved normally again. Sorry about that.

When DCL equips some devices, they are also listet in the "Debug"-Page of this mods MCM-Menu. But then nothing happens. None of the keys I can configure in the MCM does anything. When I click on the Item in the MCM-Menu, I can change the durability, etc. I then found out, that it works, when I have an armbinder or yoke equipped. When I press the "Action key", then the minigame starts. But after I got rid of the armbinder, nothing happens again (I still have other devices equipped). Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing a dependency (there are no requirements listet in the mod-page)/ have the wrong load order? Are other devices even supported? Â I use: Skyrim SE 1.5.97 SKSE 2.0.20 Devious Devices 5.1 DCL 9.0 Papyrus-Log contains mods and load-order papyrus.log Edited February 27, 2022 by Atalanta
Clockwinding Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Alright i'm progressing, the "time rate" value only skyrockets during the orgasm resist minigame when pressing the "s" key. regular crits to decrease orgasm bar are alright, but you "press key while bar changes color" is somehow borked.
