1) I think I have managed to repeat the bug when the unequipped device is still present in UD debug menu.

I had Abadon plug equipped with other abadon items and from time to time they spawn new devices on me.

The trick is that there is no check if this slot is already occupied. I had DD Elbow shackles spawned on me by Abadon piercing and later I had a White leather straightjacket spawned. Both of these items occupy hands slot and when I removed the straightjacket I still had Elbow shackles visually on me and hands tied in Elbow shackles animation but it wasn't equipped in inventory. I had to remove the unnnamed worn device via console command removeitem and then my hands were actually free but Elbow shackles were still in UD debug menu. The same was repeated with piercing slot. Even after I removed via console every restraint except abadon plug some devices are still present in UD debug menu. They have durability 0 and pressing Unlock, or repatching them does nothing. I have noticed that some of these phantom devices still spawn new devices on me occasionally. I wonder if there is any way to clear the debug menu.

 

2) As I've mentioned before, the keys are not consumed in key minigame even though I have key consumption turned on in DD MCM. And to my experience so far key minigame is much harder than lockpicking game because the keys are rare and hard to find and lockpicks are not.

 

3) Some abadon devices are getting removed by standard DD item removal event (Universal key or "free me" from Cursed Loot). Not sure if it's intentional.

As a foreword, I'm happy as it is now, just some thoughts, maybe you like them:

 

I noticed that the number of locks on a given DD varies. However the number doesn't represent the DD. A few examples:

- Leg cuffs - Expected 4 - In game there were 3

- Yoke - Expected 3 - In game there were 2

- Pony boots - Expected 2 - There was 1

 

The convenient thing would be if there would be as much locks on a restraint as much is visible on the 3D object. In case where no locks are visible, then the number of pieces the DD uses (for example the 4 cuffs of the Leg cuffs).

 

I'd be also OK with some invisible locks, depending on the difficulty level, similar to what DCL does, claiming that there are locks on the wrists and ankles of the rubber suit, while nothing like that is visible on the actual 3D modell.

 

Maybe the number of locks could be somewhat influenced by the difficulty level you set in th UD MCM. For example:

 

Easy: The logical amount (depending on the above), but low difficulty, low chance for key break.

Normal: The logical amount + (0-2) extra, invisible locks, maximum expert difficuly, normal key break chance.

Hard: The logical amount + (2-4) extra, invisible locks, minimum adept, maximum master difficulty, somewhat high key break chance.

First of all- fantastic mod, now that I fixed my load order. I do have a question/ suggestion around additions in the future:

 

1.) I do like the concept of the "devious voice" in your head from the Abadon devices. It would be great if you would expand on that like either "resisting" the voice or "submitting". If you submit to it you may walk around in public with the devices, pleasure yourself or be used. Maybe work for x many sex acts in a tavern. Submit may also lead to a couple of orgasms or additional devices being added.
If you submit too much, struggling out will get much more difficult if you always resist struggling out will become easier. If you fully submit, the next person you meet will fully enslave you. Things like this- just thinking out loud.

2.) Origin of Abadon devices: they are coming from somewhere, someone uses them to cyphen off your dragon born power. It would be nice if you could somehow try to track the origin either the "resisting" path or the "submitting" path (getting captured and progressively turned into a bondage plaything). Maybe some local agent basements with some furniture usage as well. Would be nice if these quests would be circular so can be repeated throughout your playthrough, although getting out of the "submission" path may take a lot of time if you overdid it ?

 

Just some ideas, would love to hear what your plans and thoughts are. Again GREAT mod!!

Also another question:
I now multiple times got a "weak abadon inflatable plug" and found no way to get rid of it. The plug was fully deflated and 100% accessible. But the removal animation never impacted the health bar of the device....Is there are trick to this? Bug or Feature ??

Feature. Mash special key to remove sentient plugs, kind of same as with any plug with tied hands (but no belt).

One more question/ suggestion:

 

Is there a way to "destroy" all devices after struggling out of them or unlocking them? if not, that would be super helpful- I use Deviously Cursed Loot- so lots of devices equipped all the time and I am littering all of Skyrim with devices. I don't want to sell them b/c I would be a gazillionaire and just find it immersion breaking to have this stuff floating about in my inventory....

Disable bondage lover option in DCL and dump them in nearest container. Or sell them, they are quite expensive, to Dollmaker in Dawnstar. But no way this issue is related to this mod. Although suggestion is fine ofc, maybe even simple to implement.

Found yet another weirdness in patched devices - rusty iron arm cuffs have display model of rusty iron ballet boots.

And rusty iron ballet boots have previously mentioned problem with not possible struggling out and no lockpicking, with only way out is unlocking with restraints key.

I didn't make them quest items because they are not realy that hard to escape. Only cursed straitjacket and plug itself are quest items.

This was my intention but peaple are still telling me that the lockpick minigame is too easy and so I had to increase the lock numbers. I also think that its better to lockpick bunch of easy locks than one hard (at least when the lockpicking skill is low). Will try to think of something.

Nice suggestions. The similiar think as the voice think was already suggested. Sentient devices will have option which allow player to talk to them like to actors. This adds some new features like bets, or even some small quests (like kill this monster, get this item etc...). So i see not much of problem merging this two features. The dialogue think is on my priority as the first next think after 2.0 beta ends.

As Breid said, best option is to sell them. But adding destroy after remove wouldn't really be that difficult.

But I have better idea which I got recently. I will add new spell which will be similiar to transmutation spell, but instead of changing ores, it will change devices to items. So if you destroy yoke, you will get iron/stell bar etc.. I will just have to add loot list to all devices which shouldn't realy be that hard with patcher. Alternatively I can try to add custom menu which shows when equipping device. This menu will got new button, like "dismantle" or somethink and that will destroy the device to get items.

Also I have found one major issue which i wonder how i didn't found earlier. I didn't update FOMOD with new Seq folder. So the seq file was actually never added. Seq file is required for the quest which start at the game start. This may have been source of some issue. For now here is the Seq folder. Just extract it the mod folder or install it like mod and it should work.Seq.zip

One more question: unlocking yourself instead of struggling.....when I try that with a lock pick I only see my green struggle bar go down- no target how close I am to actually unlocking the lock. Is there something that I am missing- pushing another button or something?

Uhm, I think you are not supposed to have green bar when lockpicking at all. Unless it was changed in a very recent version.

With green bar, do you mean the stamina bar or the device bar? Lockpicking or key unlock works by critting. You have to crit the device and then the lockpick minigame will show (or lock get unlocked if you have key and doing key minigame).

I would really need help with phantom devices that are not equipped but present in UD debug menu. They keep spawning new devices on me. And I'm not sure I like that. Is there a way to clear the devices treated as equipped by UD? Like a Cursed Loot's "free me" button? Because I have no idea how to remove them since they are not equipped neither in inventory nor in console?

Vile ideas:

  • Gag player if she tries to shout/drink potions during abadon struggle (prevent easy resource restoration like from Ordinator perks)
  • Belt/gag player if she resets arousal with outside functionality (masturbation or frigid wash potion, from Cursed Loot mod)
  • Same for Shocker plugs/piercings, make plug replace it with powerful vibrators (and maybe mock player?)
  • Quickly recharge piercings if she tries to destroy them with magic, also some mocking comments?
  • Equip mittens on lockpicking/lock reach attempt
  • Sentient cuffs linking themselves with a 'rope' (only text flavour), arms can use elbow schackle animations and legs - tight dress animation. Arm ropes behave like armbinder and leg ropes restricts movement.
  • If you lose lockpicking minigame on sentient belt - apply timed lock-shield which can only be 'broken' with regular struggle, or unlock itself after a while.
  • Addition to 'chocking collar' idea - gas masks that block air for a while, with the same effect as drowning. Also makes her panic and not able to do anything other than 'struggling' out of gas mask.
  • Instead of dying with 'Hardcore' mode - passing out, which fast forwards time so when the player wakes up all plugs are ready to go on her again with increased power.

All above should drain some charge/health from abadon plug tho, it should also 'struggle' against player struggle.

Bug: toggling off controllable plug made it destroy in UD menu and unavailable for interaction with player menu, but it is still equipped.

Yes, such a button exists, it's called Fix Bugs and located in the Debug submenu of the Unforgiving Devices MCM menu. It clears all unused slots.

two more questions: the extreme inflatable abadon plug has an unreachable lock and seems to not react to any struggle attempt at all. Is there a technique with say using crits or the s key to get it off? On the abadon plug: does it require a key to remove if so how do you find it?

Let it deflate first, you'll be able to deflate it more manually, completely release all air from it and then try to struggle from it.

Bug: asking follower to help with lockpicking while you have mittens on produce "No lockpicks remaining" message, doesn't stop minigame and (I think?) transfer all follower's lockpicks to player inventory.

Feedback on ingredients: before seed and conc. goo was added it was possible to create Black goo poison just by mixing it with literally any other item, now it is not the case. Suggest to add Poison aversion effect to black goo and Stamina regeneration to seed or conc. goo, so one can chose what result he gets. Or maybe make Black goo an ingredient that always makes poison in combination with seed, and concentrated goo a positive one, a potion if mixed with seed.

Also might be worth noting that mixing goo with seed is considered to be beneficial effect and always produces a potion (which might be intended for some players to have fun?). And yes, Black goo poison worked on bandit girls like a charm, they were completely at your mercy and were not even fighting back.

This is first time i heard about this. But i think that it can be interesting feature so i will try to think of somethink. I see your point. And agree with your line of thinking, it is more fun to open several easier ones than one difficult. Some sense of progress being made. Maybe just add separate options to control number/difficulty so people can match their own taste on this matter? Would also be nice to see some variety, like ok if some devices have adept or even novice locks (just more of them), but would be nice if some could also have up to expert or even master ones. The biggest win of this mod over vanilla DD right now is the variety of physical/magical/cutting resistances even if it's the same kind of device. Would be nice if locks could be like that too. It's ok if one time the same device is much easier than another time - that's the best part.

Some more observations:

 

1. Lockpicking skill is not progressing with picking locks on the devices.

2. Abadon devices (plugs and piercings) do not equip abadon devices, only normal ones. Only time when abadon devices used - heavy bondage ones are equipped by the plugs on crits.

I'd like to see those devices to have some chance to equip various abadon devices, not only heavy bondage ones, and not only on crits while trying to remove the plugs.

Currently might be a problem because of how DD Framework still tries to read orgasms and sometimes cause them randomly, yes. My idea - OnUpdate check if arousal reduced by more than 50? and is below 25 arousal, and if there was no DD or UD orgasm events triggers between update checks. Looks like this event is the one

This might trigger just by mere existence of those plugs being equipped on player.

Small chance, yes, maybe equal to Sentience%?

Will re-verify this, but something totally breaks with controllable plugs.

And btw, I think I found the reason why leveling up skills with UD was so slow. Aroused Desire debuff, seems like it affects all skill gains.

Edit: new bugs. Very weak vibrations (plugs, piercings) are someetimes(?) not audiable.
Asking for help from a friend sometimes becomes impossible with a message Player (in 3rd person) is busy. Actor is not busy ofcourse, resources are full, Terminate animation doesn't solve it. Disappears on its own. It does not, stuck in the save file.

Check if they're idling (arms crossed standing, leaning on a wall or sitting in a chair) - that seems to mark them as busy. Disable autoidle option in EFF if you're using that.

They are not I am pretty sure this is a bug. Got resolved with long time, I assume that was cell reset? Follower in question is Inigo, not imported anywhere.

Bug: Non abadon vibrators still equip abadon restraints. Soulgem piercings + greater anal plug, equipped Abadon Bra.

Also, steel manacles with 6 locks, very hard to reach difficulty and 76% sentience are super vile.
Lockpicking always starts telekinetic variant if possible, being sometimes more of liability than an asset because of mana consumption and requirement.
