Just a quick thought, would it be possible to add a feature to where if you had a needs mod installed and you become infested your hunger increases at an absurd rate? Kind of like John Hurt in Alien.

 

Looking forward to many more updates to this great mod :)

What needs mod do you have in mind?

The one I use is Realistic Needs and Diseases. I suppose you could always do it manually via the RND sliders to adjust hunger, thirst, and fatigue rate. Still, it could be pretty interesting.

Scripting is practically done for RND.

Are you using a companion mod and/or are the companions following the player using the standard companion / heirling factions?

Yes they are listed tried it with lydia and vilja mod

Can other npc's be targeted?

Question; is it possible to change things such that if you have a follower, they'll try and "rescue" you from the tentacle/chaurus? At the moment, if my char gets nailed by a distance attack, my follower will immediately stop following and (metaphorically!) stand around looking at her nails until the tentacles are done with their fun.

 

Secondly, if you do have a follower, that the chaurus continues trying to impregnant/kill the follower as appropriate? I'm assuming the fighting stops because you're added to the chaurus faction on attack rather then at conclusion of the attack, though I'm not familiar with Skyrim scripting.

They're actually added to a 3rd faction making both chaurus and player neutral. If falmer were in the area then the player would still be hostile to them. Since chaurus & falmer are allies the chaurus would assist in attacking.

Heyo. I`m having a bit of trouble with this mod.... It`s just not working. Not like its making my CTD or my character just sits there with her arms out unable to move. But nothing. The mode loads up in the MCM and has all the tabs in the screen shots. I`ve also checked load order to make sure it was correct, that i checked in another part of the forums. The Chaurus just hits me over and over until I die or I kill it. I`m not sure what to do.

Just a quick question as I've been sitting here waiting for a while now. How long does expelling the eggs actually take? I've been waiting for a while and slowly my character is getting buried beneath her own eggs and fluids haha. How many could possibly be in there and when does the ride end?

My mistake, let it sit for 25mins and the animation is still going. Does the fact my character was raped by 6 or 7 charus mean that it has to go through just as many cycles or is there another reason is seems like the animation is stuck in an immortal loop?

Grrr! I saw the DAO dragons mod, and it said the Archdemon was in it, but the file's been removed. :angry: I even requested that on Nexus!

 

Anyway...have you any clue how friggin old my version of Estrus is? installationFile=Estrus Chaurus v1%2e9%2e2.7z :P Still works fine! I think it may be finally time to upgrade. :D

 

I sometimes forget it's even active, simply because chauruses are fairly rare, but when I find one, I'm quickly reminded.

 

Those bastards are sneaky! And the part at the end of Dawnguard, when all those chauruses bust out of the ice at once? That spells certain doom, forever and ever. It's time to uninstall Estrus Chaurus during that fight. Otherwise, your a permanent sex-toy for those bastards! They usually spit on you like 3-4 more times before you even get back up from their last "attack".

 

I'd simply summon a Dremora Lord, but my Dremora Lords are female. :D Just another chaurus plaything. XD

Did you install "Estrus Chaurus 1.8.3 Fluids Plugin"?

Did you update the mod while infected?

Do you have multiple listings of the "chaurus parasite" breeder effect?

You can just drop the priority of Estrus Chaurus down to 0 in actor events and it disables the mod.

 

I ought to actually take the time and finish skyrim but I keep f'ing up my saves altering scripts.

What are the settings for Estrus Chaurus in Actor Events?

Actor Event. (Those values before Chaurus  were higher. I just set them to 0 as a hail marry to see that would work. Not even sure what they are.)

I read a few post back there. When I first installed it the menu was like this. But when I reinstalled it FNIS wasn't being detected but it eventually detected it.

With this I've tried 4.1 and 4.0.4 (their previous version they had on Nexus. Neither will detect. I played the game for hours just to see if they would. Would this be the only thing causing me problems?)

I'm having the same issue - I actually have a save just after both my char and companion (not a vanilla one though; downloaded of Nexus) are both infected but as soon as we leave the cave she looses that status. Can post the save up or any log files if that would help.

Alright. one issue resolved and into another. Using the UNPB body skeleton and it wasn't allowing the belly growth. Got XP's and its still not showing the node as present. Is there manual update to it I have to do in-game, or is it just as simple as now that those are there, cleaning and reinstalling the mod?
