Just figured I'd pop in to say the latest version of XPO is working almost flawlessly for me I got imprisoned and tested I think everything there was to test/do, including fast-forwarding which freaking works like a charm Kudos! My only tiny little issue (which I believe may have been half my fault/half SexLab's) is that when I reached the pillories for the day's dose of punishment, everything worked fine -until- a punishment ended. For example: I got walked to the pillories, got locked in one of them. After an hour, the first punishment kicked in, and went very well. After that was done (here's what may have been "my faul") both me and the jailer ragdolled to the ground, and my character just stood there. The pillory didn't reappear and the pillory animation didn't trigger either (so it wasn't just a case of invisible pillory object). Here's the interesting bit though... when it was time for the next punishment, the pillory reappeared and I got locked in it just in time for the jailer to give me the typical one-liner, and then the next punishment started, and the whole cycle restarted. Also worth mentioning that the very first time this happened, aka after the first punishment, I could actually move away from the pillory spot as I was not even bound, but after running a couple feet away I would get automagically pushed back to where the pillory was supposed to be. After that, each time it happened I just couldn't move, as if I -was- in the pillory, but again, no object, animation, even bound hands. Again, this is very minor really, after all I can't really move from that spot even if the pillory is not there, and It may be the option "ragdoll ending"'s fault, but figured I'd let you know see if you've encountered this before. Thanks in advance the mod is amazing, but I've already said this multiple times What you're describing is actually SexLab sending it's "I'm done" event before it's actually done. It does a lot of clean up after sending that event, and that clean up messes up Prison Overhaul (because they modify the same controls). In the next update, I've added a slight delay before Prison Overhaul starts it's own take over routine. This has to be solved between PO and SexLab, but it's a clear bug, and it appears it's gotten worse in the last versions of SexLab (or maybe I didn't spot it before).

Next big step, I think, is bounty hunters. Not sure how I'll do that, but probably quite simple approach to begin with. Don't expect anything major "soon", though ... :/ it's cool, don't worry.

You could try 2 things : 1st : if you manage to follow the guard just a lil bit, immediately go to the MCM menu and check the Fast Forward box. 2nd : wait for 1 hour. I've managed to make the mod work with these two tips almost all the time. Good luck !

This seems to happen only on high bounties, punching a guard gets me arrested just fine for some reason... Could this have something to do with the fact that I have to move out of a city with sheathed weapon to even get arrested with a high bounty? Just sheathing weapons a couple of times doesn't work on high bounties, they keep attacking. THat last thing seems to be a vanilla bug, so if those are indeed related, maybe I should look for a fix for that instead? EDIT: Seems like things work better when you get arrested outside of a city, somewhere with just a single guard to arrest you. Sheathing weapons works fine then.

I get taken to the cell then to the pillory then cell a few times but no sex no whipping no animations. not anything wtf?

Something for Cidnha Mine (also beds so you can sleep). 4. Some kind of "regular" station placed inside jails / cells used for whipping (like the x cross in Riften), rather than inventing something on the fly. 5. Getting shivs / picks in food / from friendly NPCs while in pillory 6. High enough bounty results in being moved to a larger / more well guarded prison. 7. Vanilla dialog used for comments ("The Gods know what you've done")

All the animations worked to schedule though I was surprised that only 2 of the pillory animations were used. I plan to see if different animations are used in different cities

Maybe that's the problem? Also, xaz, is there a way to introduce an npc as prisoner in this mod via console?

For me that fine as you kind of surrender to them for being naughty (or do you surrender to become naughty ).

I know there is no such item in zaz's pack but i found something on nexus that I think would be perfect. I would make the change my self but when looking at the cuffs in creation kit i noticed you used the set of ankle and wrist. So I cant change it with out changing your scripting and I don't know enough scripting to make this kind of change. Here is link to restraint equipment so you can take a look as well as a pic of the ones I though would be perfect. Zarias Restraints Is this possible?

Unfortunatly, i have other probelms... - In Dawnstar, Morthal and Falkreath, when it's punishment time in the prison, I have a CTD. (in Falkreath, the pillory thing works, it's just the prison part) - In Solitude, I can't reach the cell. The jailer is stuk just before it, when i wait, he is still stuck and when I use fast travel, I fall out of the limits of the game (I hope it's understable...) and respawn at the entrancce of the prison, my PC try to reach the cell but he's stuck just before, once again. And fast travel doesn't work. In Riften and Windhelm, everything worls (even if there's no pillory in Windhelm). And, of course, in Winterhold and Markarth, the prison aren't traditionnal ones so the mod doesn't cover them; I don't know where all of these come from, for Dawnstar, Morthal et Falkreath it's the same bug, for three cities which are not separated from the world map (I'm sorry i don't know how to say it properly, I hope you'll understand) so it may be the same thing. For Solitude, I don't know, maybe it's just the path the jailer uses. I don't know what to do, I just have to wait, so I Hope it's not something horrible. I follow the subject, so if you have questions about my version of the mods or something, I'll see them. Thank you!

After being released from the Falkreath Jail, my PC can now move freely, but I can't open the TAB menu or interact with anyone or anything with 'e' key. Any thoughts?

I guess that means that you're leaving the dialogue, which guards interpret as escaping. I guess the same would happen in vanilla? If so, I'll add it to the list of things I want to "fix" but which are technically not "my fault". There's no way to add Npc prisoners right now. I mean, you could put Npcs in the prison, dress them up using items from Zap, but this mod wouldn't recognize them in any particular way.

Would it be easier to add that to the list of items spawned and equipped before movement. I have tried in game to equip both the chain by it's self and the same restraints you selected and they match pretty well.
Redflyingmonkey Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Heya xaz, thanks for your mod first, and I'm going to add my share to the bug report list, I hope you'll be able to fix your issues without too much brain stress aha ! So I got in prison in Whiterun, and when the jailer took me out of the cell, I couldn't follow him through the Prison's door, there was no option to open it. Debugging the jailer didn't make him come back. Maybe it's a conflict with a particular mod ? I tried to disable some of them to verify, but I got too many of them so it's taking time. Also, after reloading a save in Whiterun, I enabled the "fast forward" option, and it worked great (with some lagging between the actions tho, the jailer took 3 minutes to undress me), then when we got teleported to the pillory, I could like, glde over the floor while attached on it, the jailer and the guard were just standing there doing nothing ! I think it could use some repositionning too, the left pillory is too close of Arcadia's pillar and cause some glitches bteween the guard standing there, the pillory, the jailer and me. Finally, there are compatibility issues with "Alternate Start, Live Another Life". If you choose to start as an owner of a house somewhere, and try to get arrested in that town, the guards will ignore you after you accept to go in prison, and will forgive anything you do after surrendering to them. For example, I killed the Solitude blacksmith, the guards came to arrest me with the 1000 bounty that should've started your quest script, but after I accepted to go in prison they all sheated their swords and forgot all my bounties, as if I went to prison and served my time instantly. After some attempts my game CTD'ed. I think it's an issue with the thane position they give you when you obtain that house, somehow your mod relies on the thane script if you own the house and all your crimes get forgiven. After trying the Solitude thing numerous times and seeing it failed, I went to Whiterun and it worked there (well i got the bug I mentionned earlier instead) Good luck yo !
nargluj Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 After digging through most of my load order looking for what could have caused a long term problem for me I've found out that SkyRe's Reproccer does not like xazPrisonOverhaul_V023 at all! Might be much time to be saved to write it in the OP if others have had similar issues. Trying 2.24 right now.
