Pinute Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 is it possible to get a compatibility patch for open cties? or a tes5edit guide of how to change the placement variables in the affected cities, so the pillory is in the right cityspace? as there are fallback doors to the original cityspaces, the mod works fine, but its quite empty at that place and only the jailor punishes you all the time. and one small thing: the 2nd pillory, i asume should be for the follower? as i never play without eff, in what faction or what should i give to one of my followers to have them have fun too? or is it currently only static? and followers in the prison are not handled at the moment? as said i never play without eff, so i don't expect them to work, as organizing 100 followers in a prision could break more i think than help. If you commit a major crime you will never be released but instead sold as a slave (on a slavemarket to the highest bidding client). You lose all legal rights and have to continue to serve a lord / lady / master / mistress until you manage to escape. I have more a immersive questline in mind for those who say that there are already a lot of enslavement mods. The Point is that there should be a story going on and thats exactly what I miss in all those existing mods.

The Point is that there should be a story going on and thats exactly what I miss in all those existing mods. Actually that is a really good idea for immersive play without execution - capital crimes result in you being sold into slavery.... If you thought the prison guards were nasty - try this!

That is because my PC needs sometimes sleep (due to other mods), but out of immersion I'd really like to see if a guard comes into the cell and wakes me up to satisfy his lust. Anyway, great mod which I really like and which I always have in my load order! Thanks I've tried to do this, but not found a good way to interrupt sleep after a number of hours. There are scripts floating around on the net that claim to do this, but they alter time variables in the game, which appear to have no long term "effect". So essentially, "no". I can interrupt sleep, but it wouldn't solve your problem in a good way. Hey xaz I do not know if you have already seen this, but Guffel has something implemented that interrupts sleep in his mod "Dangerous Nights". Works well for me ... but if it is "in a good way" might be asked.

JaggyAggy Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Hi for reasons unknown to me the mod works fine until the pillory bit. when i am brought to the pillory the pillory fades away im guessing its meant to then equip on you. instead my pc is left standing on the spot frozen and no animations are played any idea how to solve this? Edit: Problem solved had some textures and animations in the wrong place
xaz Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 rather than an execution i would like to see more different punishment at devices. in rifton there are xcross in cell and near pillories, but not used. there arre so many devices in zaz resources, why nothing of them is used here ? and only 3 sexlab animations inside the prison. so if an Expansion of this mod will ever come, then please with a lot of devices. Status update: I've (re)learned how to animate, now with Blender, and I'm now working on more animation content for Zaz so that there will be some variety. Expect nothing amazing, because I've not animated since I made the "hands bound behind" animations, but at least there is something happening. When this is done, I'll have to learn how to create armors for some additional content. I'm expecting this to take a while as well, but, ... to sum up: more is coming. No promises when, but I've not left this mod or Zaz.

Also no events happen and my Main is False. Already tried reinstalling. Suggestions? This could be due to you not having a high enough bounty. Depending on what you did you are punished differently. I usually try to punch a guard, then lower my hands. That usually makes them arrest you. If they kill you, it's just the game glitching, so reload and try it again. Main being false is normal. I'll make sure to document this in the next version, because it causes confusion.

If I downgrade (not reload - actually use the 1.38 save reinstall 1,35, fnis and clean system from MCM) they work again. Anyone else getting pillory animation problems with 1.38?

It's not an option in MCM, I noticed it as a condition in the quests script but it doesn't look as if xaz has gotten around to implementing it yet. I'm no modder yet but I am a professional programmer so reading/altering this script is pretty easy. I did use xaz's mod as a learning exercise and fixed the "bound in cell" condition BUT this is without his permission so will not be treading on his toes. Am looking forward to seeing his vision for this mod when it is completed. Basically what I did was implement the condition (as I think xaz intended) to say that if the player has committed a violent crime, they remain bound and gagged in their cell. Now like I said, this was purely a learning exercise for me, there were a few issues by implementing it, like when the player is placed in cell the jailer unbinds you, this had to be ignored if "boundInCell" was true. This also caused issues with punishments which unbound the player and when they finished the player would need rebinding. Basically, it isn't as simple as it sounds. I hope xaz doesn't mind I played with his code, I won't be publishing it at all ever because I am sure he will get to this at some point and it will be a lot better than my 'hacky' fix. I am currently learning Skyrim modding (including learning blender as well) and am hoping to start rolling out my own mods soon and join in with the LL community, messing with great mods like this and seeing how others have created them is a huge learning aid. Keep up the good work xaz, this is shaping up to be an awesome mod

Namely when using this mob, I run into a problem. When the character is in pillory, villagers or soldiers come, they give money to the guard, but for some reason it will not trigger a animation. Ie. nothing happens after that.I have checked the console. It says things like:Playing animation: Xpobroom01 (or a different animation).Any ideas how to sort this out? I use these mods in this load order 00 skyrim 01 update 02 sexlab 03 saxanimationpack 04 skyui 05 xazprisonoverhaul

After that I tried to get jailed in Windhelm and the left the PC in cell for the whole time, just some punishment and sex from time to time by guards. never saw the jailer. is this normal in Windhelm? Another thing, this time I had a follower and he staied with me all the time and only said to me what the guards says: shame on you etc... maybe this broke something? after a few days in prison i got a CDT, but I think it was not mod fault. general skyrim issue.

The pillory disappears and your character just stands there with the guard and makes noises. I have not been able to fix this yet. I've made sure everything is up to date and I've made a fresh folder just to be sure. Please help.
Zydar Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Unless its already in the mod, have the number of days you're in jail determined by how much people are paying the jailer to have a go at your PC on the pillory. Once the total amount is equivalent to your bounty, you are released the next morning. Or maybe these money helps to shorten your stay in the jail, since if I remember right by default a bounty of 100 is equivalent to a day in jail.Add in the option that set how much the NPCs are willing to pay, whether its a set amount or randomized between two values, how frequent they come up (using Sexlab Aroused maybe?). I was thinking another nice option to include as part of the punishment fun could be to have something like the fucking machine from Estrus. Toss in the crowds mod for an audience and you've got an all time favorite fantasy/scenario of mine! Also have the crowd randomly toss in some money, that goes along with my idea of paying up your bounty lol
sarahlost36 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Now that Devious Devices are a thing... how about an MCM option for a chastity belt imposed on you, with the plugs scaling in severity to your bounty? ie primitive plugs for minor, then soulgem or daedric for major... and everything in between. It could be seen as a way to make sure you are morally better... maybe an alternative to capital punishment. love your work!
