Yeah it's only cause I haven't changed the version number on the mod for convenience.

If you are having issues, please try a new game first and see if it resolves the problem by activating in MCM and triggering the curse through MCM. If the problem persists please provide as much detail as possible and I will look into it.

I think something is wrong

I cant trigger gem birth - i tryied debug option, i tryerd orgasm trigger, arousal trigger etc... widget is "full" quest is active (but without objectives) and nothing.

i think Toys not works correctly too - no mcm etc  .. but what abouts whorecrux stats?

Hmm, this is an odd one. All your orgasms have been detected correctly it seems and the curse should have been triggered.

Try these 2 options from MCM:

- Reset everything

- Trigger spirit fracturing

 

See if that does work. If that doesn't work either I assume it is something preventing functionality of WCX_SpiritFracture script but not the others.

 

Please give me an update if you find anything else, I will investigate and see if I can reproduce the issues.

 

Can you please confirm if you are playing on LE or SE?

Edit: There was some discussion on Toys disc (problem-reports) and probably in the thread for toys too on the MCM problem, it is not an issue with Toys, and may be the same reason Whorecrux is having issues.

Regarding the Toys part... no MCM usually means Toys stopped running on startup. Nothing it going to work. Calls to Toys from Whorecrux will hang.

  1. Have you broken the golden rule?
  2. When you first installed Toys, did you start a new game? Its the requirement. Not doing so is an example of breaking the golden rule.

If yes to either, you are running on a corrupt save.

 

First thing to test.... does the Toys MCM show up if you start a new game?

  • Yes? You've proven its a corrupt save, and that likely explains why Whorecrux is also not working. Solution: Start a new game
  • No? I'd need to see your Papyrus Log for a game session where you startup a new game, wait for notifications to finish, exit.

If you are using the most current version of SLSO try disabling it to see if everything starts working again.  I had a similar issue until I rolled back to an earlier version.

 i tested it it too - i reinstalled also whorecux with older toys version. - still nothing

i know your mod - I know what to expect  ( i tryed older version in past (cool idea <3)  )

Hi everyone,
first of all- fantastic mod- thanks for creating it and please keep at it. I just have a small question: in the MCM for the merchants I just see "to be added in the future" does that mean that all the merchant quests from your release notes are not implemented yet or that just the MCM implementation is missing? Thanks!

There are currently 5 quests implemented but the MCM is not done. There are more quests planned for them too. You can find the mysterious merchants in walled cities. Here are a few:
- Whiterun / behind The Bannered Mare
- Riften / Take the path on the left when you enter the town, you will see him if you walk around that way.

- Solitude / by the Bards Collage 

 

Please note:
- 1 quest requires Billy's gloryhole animations, I recommend the door closed version for it.

- 1 quest requires creature animations installed.

 

If they are not available on your game those 2 quests are unavailable but the other 3 quests will still work. One of the quests has less features if ZAP is not installed.

If the scene isn't playing at all, it could be a few things. If you get periodic damage, notification, sound effect and inflation; then birth is being blocked by something. This can be a belt, vaginal plug or any toy that has the BlockVaginal keyword.

 

I can't see any way that could have triggered on a new install though, as you would have at least had to equip a toy from Toys or a device from DD.

 

If that doesn't sound related to your problem, it could be something I've overlooked with optional mods so provide me with what optional mods you have installed.

 

I had the time to start a new playthrough with this mod preinstalled on it. It worked this time so it appears it needs a new game to work properly. Maybe this has something to do with it's dependency on Toys as i was able to use the older version in the middle of existing saves  (before Toys became required) and the creator of Toys requires a brand new game for their mod to work properly.

No framework mod (esm), can be added to your load order without starting a new game. This is not unique to Toys. If you added it to your load order mid-playthrough, you instantly corrupted your next save.

Hi, excellent mod! Have been trying it out this week, I have a bit of feedback:

  • I had a case of a gem being moved from either player inventory or player house chest to an NPC
    • Gem dropping was unticked, I hadn't "lost" any
    • The message implied it was a previously lost gem being handed to another NPC.
  • Forced birth caused my character to not teleport somewhere for a babo dialogue event so my character became stuck on the spot.
    • Could be good to have a toggle for it but setting forced to max value allowed me to proceed
  • SLIF belly based on gems on SE alongside fill her up - bad at default setting. works well together at 0.25 inflation amount for gems

 

Overall good options for setting the difficulty, really solid work

  • Something like followers being lightly affected by the dragonborn at higher spirit fracture could be a nice addition?

1) Any gems in your house chest will be stolen eventually. This has nothing to do with the gem dropping functionality. They must be kept in your inventory if you do not wish to lose them.

 

2) Regarding the forced birth issue, I will add an additional busy check during the birth to cancel out in-case another mod moves the player during the birth scene. I can't promise this will work 100% but it will help. Perhaps I will add a toggle too for disabling the animation.

 

3) Really depends on your SLIF configuration, if you are using bodymorph the default would be fine, with nioverride it is more like 0.1-0.2. I assumed most users will be using bodymorph.

 

4) Yeah some sort of follower support will be a nice addition, I will look at it further down the line though.

It would be great if you could add an option to not add Toys to the character as a result of converting amethyst whorecruxes. If you only have the Toys framework installed, there is currently no way to "immersively" gain keys for these Toys if you only have the framework installed. Thus I have to manually add keys via console/AddItemMenu.

 

Quick question: is Spirit Fracture something that eventually "runs out", i.e. if you absorb rose whorecruxes could it end up being a perpetual thing? I didn't see anything in the description about totally curing the "disease" so to speak.

1) Interesting about gems stolen from house, that works for me!

 

2) I've noticed the fill her up mod sometimes plays deflate visual effect without triggering a character animation, it seems to be a backup method - the same thing might work here?

For that to happen while the player is locked up in trouble somehow and then NPCs grab the gem, I think that would fit the mod nicely. Hope my 5 cents helps

 

3) For SLIF I've set it to bodymorph with the tullius settings, SLIF looks a bit tricky for me so I found it much easier to tweak the setting in whorecrux MCM

You can get keys from one of the merchants added by the mod if you require. I will add more options though.

 

There will be end states added eventually to the mod. Right now you can be cured of the curse temporarily by reabsorbing all of the whorecrux. The same trigger conditions you have set in MCM will trigger the curse again though, if you wanted it to be a one time thing you could always disable it in the MCM after curing the curse.

Thanks. yeah I just need to update the script so it checks / waits differently; it will be fixed in the next update.

Hi, i have enjoyed the new update. Just cheking is there a way to force the void merchant quest? As i have gotten all the other four. When i asked for the keys, sometimes the what can i do option does not appear.

Cool concept, one part I think could use improvement is the disabling of magic & shouts when the spirit fracture starts. For example on a high level character who is using master spells, I think it is a bit too sudden that they can't even use novice spells anymore. It would be cool if it was more a progression, where at the start it's only your current highest tier that becomes unavailable (master spells for lv 100, journeyman for lv 50-75, etc), and then as the spirit fracture progresses it gets worse and worse.

Does it happen on new game? After you know the answer, see.. Crash on loading a save, no crash starting a new game, if that matches your case.

 

If its not your case, need to know WHEN the CTD occurs

  1. before the first skyrim menu even shows up?... most likely missing a requirement, or other install mistake CTD scenarios
  2. When you attempt to load a save?
  3. After loading the save, and you do something in game? What is the something?

its during loading but all previous versions work plus iam trying to fix expressions when i first got mod it looked good when her mind is broken but now cannot seem to get ger expressions anymore

if your problem is a corrupt save like I expect, the fact that previous versions worked does not matter. You've made changes, that's where corrupt saves come from, and thus you need to start a new game in that scenario. Its all about the Golden Rule.

 

You've not said if starting a new game also crashes. That's key to know. If starting a new game does NOT crash, this proves a corrupt save.

 

"During loading", is not descriptive enough to define if its 1 or 2 above.

My guess is that you are trying to avoid starting a new game, but have Installed Toys for the first time, which requires a new game. 

 

Corrupt save most likely is also the cause of your expressions problem.

If you still have problems with Expressions after solving your crash, use this... Expressions not working

Is there any way to disable most toys features while still having this mod not break? Cool mod, but I really do not dig toys mechanics, wish I could have it alongside baka defeat but they really don't play ball that nicely, sex mini game is eh, if not then is 0.1.7 version still standalone without toys required? I was able to turn off some rousing stuff but not toys basically taking over a lot of scenes and I think rousing was still active just some parts of it were turned off. I'm asking here as it relates directly to me wanting to run this mod and I don't wanna go into the toys thread only to shit on it and be negative, I think it's all impressive stuff, it just happens to not be my cup of tea.

 

Edit: also I'm on LE if that matters.
