(No idea if its possible to add a bit of coding to allow this possibility or not)

Zandre Posted January 24, 2024 Posted January 24, 2024 (edited) I believe I have discovered a pretty significant, albeit somewhat difficult to trigger bug. Events that lead up to the bug: - birth at least 1 small sapphire gem - before getting to a shrine, overload and have all sapphire gems converted to amethyst - attempt to have male npc cum on amethyst shard - NPC takes money but does not take the small amethyst shard from your inventory and you are permanently stuck with small amethyst gems that cant be converted, unless I missed something. Edit: I love this mod, its interesting and well thought out. Maybe a bit busted and makes the character weak, but you are likely already OP so its interesting. If I can make a request, I would love to see butt scaling implemented for SLIF. Not sure why its only breast and belly, but since it seems like it has the purpose of turning you PC into a slut/whore, I feel like making a bigger ass would be nice as well. Also works well with the bimbos of skyrim mod as you are now in a race to keep your character from actually losing even more stats when turning into a bimbo and swelling up even further. Is there any way to work with SLIF and to set up a .json for this mod's morphs to have more detailed sliders? I've done so before with BoS and MME where you can customize a large number of sliders but can't figure out a way to do it for this mod either in the MCM beyond just the simple "breasts" and "belly" values, or in any of the existing .json files within the mod files. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm fairly new to modding and even newer to working with SLIF. I did search this thread and read all the posts discussing SLIF but couldn't figure out anything related to more detailed slider options.

Whorecrux modified SLIF so if you want the custom shape, you need to go edit SLIF. I assume this is a newer thing for you but make sure to select the CBBE Tullius preset fir CBBE bodies and change SLIF to percentages rather than nioverride (all on the bodymorphs tab if I recall, in SLIF). From there, if done correctly, just mess around with the SLIF morphs and when a mod increases the SLIF value, those morphs are applied. I also suggest changing the growth to instant and set it to base -1 preset. A lot of mods will default to value 1 for a node and if its additive, 3 mods with value 1 will provide SLIF value 3. with -1 it will subtract the default 1 and then add the 3 values together making it 0 by default. So, once you do get it setup, your value in whorecrux for the SLIF scale will apply that value per whorecrux level. Hopefully this makes sense, kind of the abridged version of the explanation

That sounds like it makes sense, I will mess around with this and hopefully it will still make sense when I have the MCM in front of me lol.

I've messed around with SLIF a lot, changed nioverride to 0, altered percentages, ensured "SLIF inflate breasts" was checked in WCX, and done multiple test cycles through the whorecrux stages and am completely stumped. Nothing I do seems to impact the breast proportions which whorecrux alters through SLIF. SLIF is recognizing whorecrux as a mod in the "Default Modus" values but not in the "Morph Modus" values. It isn't even there to be selected. Visually, everything is identical even when I turn all breast-related sliders to 0 in SLIF except for like 500% nipple length. It still just grows the entire breasts in the default way. None of the inflation that WCX applies to breasts seem to show up *anywhere* in SLIF's MCM, even though it is visually happening. If looking at "All Mods" in SLIF then the first growth will make the NPC L/R Breast nodes will go from 0 to 1, but they stay at 1 for all other growths. If I look specifically in "Whorecrux", the NPC L/R Breast nodes are 0 at all stages. I thought this meant that SLIF and WCX weren't talking to each other and WCX was handling the inflation on its own, but if I uncheck "SLIF inflate breasts" in the WCX MCM then no inflation is applied at all. It seems like WCX is using SLIF to do some standard set of inflation (that ignores my nioverride or percentage settings in SLIF) but SLIF isn't aware of it? IDK. Also oddly, Belly seems to be showing up in SLIF. I haven't messed with it as much so I still have it set to nioverride since there isn't an easy way to grow it with MCM tools like there is breasts with the birthing trigger, but the couple times I've checked SLIF when it has grown naturally it appears to be properly increasing in value in the Default Modus going from 1 to 2 and back down after a birth. So overall, I have no clue what is going on. I've exhausted all troubleshooting I can think of and can't see any pattern that makes any sense. Barring delving into the scripts/code outside of the game, I think I'm at a dead end. I know this is (likely) a compatibility issue with another mod, and that this mod is sadly abandoned so help/interest in this is probably nonexistent but I've spent way to much time messing with this not to at least share

I lost a whorecrux in Windhelm, the merchant there, Saermeth Lonely-Mug has it for an exorbitant price (75644), and I can't figure out how to get it back. He told me to come back later and he would have something for me to do. It has been about 2 weeks in-game, and no new dialogue has appeared. My character is level 1 so I can't pickpocket the gem off him.
rambokitty Posted January 3 Posted January 3 shame this mod is dead. i really liked it. but toys just doesn't fly with modern installs. it still works, but it just has too much scope creep. it's trying to do too much in house and failing to match the quality of what it's trying to replace. especially now that the new NG mod system era is upon us. even with its patches and integrations, it does not play well with the others. so many of its features that "technically" work with dd and aroused and such, but in game cause lots of weird and unpredictable behavior. toys feels like the arthmour approach to mods. i don't need to state why i don't like that. so it's a shame this mod is basically dead for having toys as a baked requirement. i honestly don't even know why. there is nothing in this mod meriting needing toys. all of it could be done within the mod itself or with a much more open and compatible dependency. and the toyless file above barely works, and i can't get the mcm to appear. 1

rambokitty Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) i made my own attempt at removing toys as a dependency. went through xedit and manually changed all toys dependancies to DD instead. it was almost entirely just checks for if you are wearing a gag or something preventing sex. plus a leveled list injection for toyboxes and a toybox handler, those i just fully deleted, along with collars as they are basically just toys themselves. i was able to get spirit fracture to work, birthed some gems, stats reduced, xp stopped, an npc was able to pick it up and i was able to beg for it back. idk though, i feel im missing some mcm options? it's been a LONG time since i last played though, so maybe im crazy. obviously needs some testing, but it at least runs. i have literally no idea what im doing. here is the file i made, still need the assets from the main page, feel free to do as you wish. maybe i'll do more with it, maybe learn how to mod by fixing it, idk, don't hold your breath. rambokitty Posted April 26 Posted April 26 so... it doesn't work fully. like 90% of it does, but if you have a gag or something, it will likely break. a lot of it also feels kinda janky. i took a look at the scripting and... that shit aint fixable. the main script is about 1000 lines of nothing but if statements. some statements are up to 7 or 9 nests deep. 120 lines of just declaring variables. a lot of code is extremely verbose for no reason, and difficult to read. honestly just a whole mess of spaghetti code. and it's hooks into sexlab are very inflexible. it is easy to encounter scenarios where sexlab can't do something, but the mod will just try to force it and crash the game. safe to say, unless the og author comes back, this wont be getting fixed. anyone would be better off recreating from scratch.
