Hey! I'm having some problems with the mod, the spanking animations don't work for me, i've tried to look into it and tried to reinstall everything, and it still doesn't work...

You do have a lot of animations installed, so conceivably that's a problem.  You should test the spanking animations that you have in SexLab (the Animation editor tab on its MCM).  If you get them to play there, they should work everywhere.  Note that spanking animations must have the Spank or Spanking tags to be recognized by this mod.

I also tried the bold font - the mod esp itself - same result. I used Filtered every time. No prompt. Seems I have to do it manually... I will try to highlight the mentioned areas of the text file, that should be changed. Change the names there, while leaving Lola alone in the other sectors. And just Import it.

Okay, replacing Lola when only using JPImport - since JPImportFiltered doesn't work on my PC - is confusing. The json file is huge and I don't know where to start. I read the instructions over and over and over again. I feel so dumb that I can't understand it. What does:

mean exactly? How do I recognize what JSON values are and what field names are? Seems I have to browse through nearly 1500 "Lola" references in the JSON file and they all look the same to me. The "whole words" part should be easy, there is a box I can check in the search-field.

 

And since I'm deperate after trying it step by step 8 times now and not getting a prompt for the fields, maybe I installed the JSON Plugins wrong? I followed the instructions on the Nexus page, but what does this mean:

The character should just stay in that position while the owner hits her with the normal combat animation, but in my case, as you could see in the last video, it just ended to soon, or i dunno, maybe the owner couldn't get the item from my inventory, noo idea...

 

The only follower mod that i have is "Amazing Follower Tweaks" so i don't know if only that could screw up my followers. I tried with three different followers, the same happened to all...

Are you talking about whipping, not spanking?  The MxR video that you linked shows whipping.  I'm not willing to click links to sites I don't recognize, so I haven't seen the other video.  Spanking plays as a simple SexLab animation.  If you're having trouble with a specific one, you might try a different one.

The writer meant running the script on the whole plugin (plugin = mod) by clicking on the mod name in TES5Edit, just as we talked about earlier, rather than (for example) just running it on just the Quests part of the mod tree.

You don't want to do it item by item.  That would be tedious beyond words.  The writer was making a distinction between a field name that includes "Lola" versus text with "Lola".  If you use my "paranoid" procedure (requoted below), you can probably do a global text replacement and then run the unfiltered import.  Obviously you'll want to test the result and reinstall the original esp file if necessary.

Because I'm ultra paranoid about this sort of thing, I did these specific case-sensitive replacements in the json file:

That's 6 separate global replacements with the case-sensitive option enabled.  This should avoid changing any field names.  Because I'm careful, I do this and run the filtered the import, but you can try it with the unfiltered import.

 

 

However, the filtered import script should work for you.  Are you using an older version of TES5Edit, something below version 4?

The "Auction Buyer" option on the mod's Mod Integration MCM page will set the NPC currently under the crosshair as the person to buy you.  Must be a potential (or current) follower (a few followers with special AI, including Serana, don't work well with this mod).

No, it's 4.0.3.0. and I downloaded it just some weeks ago from Nexus. It seems the Nexus version is outdated, now that I look at it. But the Download page confuses me extremely. Which one is the new TES5? There are so many versions?

Yeah, I even tried the CK but looking at all the dialogue options that COULD contain "Lola" made me give up the idea of doing it manually. xD I will try your paranoid procedure now. Sounds safe enough for a test.

Yes, it's really strange. We have the same tools here.  I switched every "Lola" + sentence thingy and used JPImportFiltered. Well, it didn't filter. But it worked so far.

 

As for the mod itself:

 

I just set up the MCM menu and gotta say this is the cutest mod I ever used in Skyrim. This would sound weird for most people, but on LoversLab it might not sound strange. lol With all my rape-the-PC mods and the other aggressive stuff, a mod that can make Farkas/Vilkas/Brynjolf a master is the sweetest. I hope I set it up so he always gives me gold instead of taking gold from me (aside from "master feels poor" stuff). I'm so excited to play the mod. Just gotta find one of those fine gentlemen first. And finally I have a good excuse to do the thief guild quests. Brynjolf just snake-charms/doms my PC into it with his disapproving stare in Riften. xD

Okay, whipping is significantly different from spanking.  Spanking uses SexLab animations; whipping uses ZAP.  This mod sets up the whipping events, then hands control over to ZAP to actually do it.  Ultimate Combat is known to interfere with whipping.  Other combat related mods conceivably might too.  NFF (Nether's Follower Framework) used to have a conflict if the option for equipping weapons only in combat was enabled, but I built in a workaround for that.  I haven't heard of problems with other follower frameworks.

Probably this has nothing to do with this, but in Queen of the Damned a mod that buff Serana, she whip the player and in two hit, the player is dead.  I try to reduce the damage, but it did not work.  In the end I only remove the mod, which is sad, cause it was making Serana really more powerful and worthy of the player.

Damn, so that might be the reason why Mistress, when asking me to bring her something to use on me, draws her weapon, and draws her weapon, and draws her weapon - for 30 seconds, without applying a single hit. Other instances of whipping had no problems.

Suggestions to load order of NFF and SLtR? NFF wants to be to the end of LO, should I put SLtR behind that?

Hmm, that event uses a different whipping function, which as I see now doesn't have the handling for NFF if you've enabled the option to equip weapons only in combat.  Until I fix that, you'll have to either turn off that setting in NFF, or just endure the problem in SLTR.  I'm sorry about that.  Thank you for making me aware of this problem.

Hello, i have a question: Devious Followers now has integration for your great mod, but not sure how it work. I can find out maybe what setting work well together, and i understand integration is most an outcome for slavery, but big problem now is: i tried to make NPC Stenvar follower through Devious Follower first, but nothing will happen when i try and hire him normally (the vanilla 500 gold, become my follower dialogue). I can also see in debug menu that last ref change is Submissive Lola mod, even when i have not started quest yet.

 

When i start Lola quest, your dialogue option works, but i wanted to have him as normal follower first, and normal option still does nothing. Do i do something wrong, or does it simply not work with standard game follower?

 

edit: i just try with Belrand(?) vanilla follower in Solitude, and it work fine. Strange! 

 

edit 2: after reloading the save with Belrand as Devious Follower, sadly all Devious Follower option are gone now. I can't dismiss too, only start Lola quest. I tried start, then ask to no longer be slave again, but after still no DF options anymore ?

I can't say enough how much I love this mod, but one suggestion: In the dialogue options under "I need to tell you something" there is the option "I love you master" but one of the responses is something like "I have really broken you. You'll be easier to manage like this." The main reason I love this mod is that it doesn't imply that submissives are broken. It's consensual.  You have great dialogue that shows it. Such as the master saying he is helping the sub to break free from their inhibitions and let themselves just enjoy what they want. I have no issue with random npc's commenting that my character is broken, that's a realistic response from someone who doesn't understand the situation. Could you add an option where the master expresses they feel the same? "I love you too, my slave" or something like that? The way they answer now fits some roleplay situations, but it would be nice to hear that the master really cares for the sub as a companion as well as a "prized possession."

I guess that's the one "picky owner" response when He is in a bad mood and zaps you for no reason.

This mod is mostly consensual, you're right in that, but Skyrim is a harsh place, so sometimes things may happen that would cast you in jail in RL.

I will look at that line and maybe adjust the wording.  I normally try to walk the line between suggesting that owner loves the slave, or that the owner wants to break the slave's spirit, while still still leaving the situation vague enough that players can interpret it in either way if they want to.  The owner does talk about breaking the slave's willfullness, and that's appropriate.  Owners want obedience.  Players who want a harsh or cruel owner are free to infer from those lines that the owner also wants to break the slave's mind and spirit, even though it's not explicitly stated.  Similarly, the owner also talks about the benefits for the slave of all these activities and that they're for the slave's own good, so players are free to read that as meaning that the owner cares for the slave.  The prized possession as a sex slave slave interpretation is in the middle. 

 

If you believe that the owner loves you, then you can think of those statements as praise.  Prized possession means the owner values you; you're important to the owner.  Sex slave means you're a good sex partner.  That kind of owner might feel awkward saying "I love you too", or believe that actually saying the words would weaken the owner's position of authority, so the owner shows that love in other ways.  The owner is gentle and considerate during sex, and makes sure that the "sex slave" has a satisfying experience.  The owner smiles at you a lot, and when you're ordered to do something it's like a game for you to play.  Of course you will be punished if you don't do it right, but you said you wanted to be a slave and presumably you expect that.

 

It would be nice if the mod had a setting for the owner's personality or attitude.  It's something that I've thought about.  It's potentially a lot of work, though.

It's just a minor nitpick, so don't worry about it. And you are right that love can be shown without saying it, especially in this kind of relationships. This mod is great precisely because it gives the option of being truly submissive willingly. Rules and punishments are a crucial part of this kind of roleplay, and both participants enjoy their roles. I sometimes get hung up on small, insignificant things such as the wording on that answer. Sorry for bringing that up.

Don't be sorry.  Handling "minor nitpicks" is part of the polishing process, and I can't have the owner directly say something about crushing you into the dirt, any more than I can have an open "I love you too".  If something is "off", I want to know about it.  

 

I think I found the line you referenced:  "You've really lost your mind, haven't you?  Good, you'll be easy to manage this way."  I think that's okay, since it doesn't say "broken" (I know that you weren't trying to provide an exact quote).  If the master does love you, I can imagine that you might respond with a surprised & hurt "Master!", to which Master would give you an impish grin, followed with a passionate kiss.  He's never going to say "it", and he probably enjoys teasing the hell out of you by saying things like that.  But you understand how he really feels, and he knows that you do.

 

So I think I'll leave the line as it is, but I do thank you for pointing out something that didn't seem quite right.  I guess I should really think about an attitude setting at some point.  That grin and a kiss follow-up response would be nice, especially if the player has a kissing animation installed.
