Its weird because the first one (beckoning impatiently I think) pops up right after the sex scene finishes, which is like a minute or two later so you'd think it would have timed out already.  What I've been doing is just opening dialogue with the master whenever I see one of the messages and then just sit there for 30 seconds or so before tabbing out.  Kinda annoying to have to keep doing.  :P

By design, it won't time out.  The force greeting waits until you're no longer busy (such as having sex) and then resumes.  That prevents message spam when you're not able to respond.

Because a competing force greeting from another mod can cause the End event for this mod's AI package to not trigger (and thus never finish), I included logic so that if you're in conversation with your owner when the next "beckons impatiently" would occur, the force greeting attempt stops.  The assumption is that an external influence (such as another mod's force greeting) has broken this mod's own force greeting, so it's useless to keep trying.  The retry timer is 10-12 seconds, so you shouldn't have to be in conversation for longer than that.

Naps-on-dirt beat me to it, but I encountered the same issue. Mistress tells me to dance, instantly red messages pop up. Wants to talk, really wants to talk ... wants NOW, and then get zapped before controls are re-enabled. Happens in all kind of situations, usually (or perhaps always, not 100% sure) right after you served mistress. Removing the messageformat.json solves the problem. So it is clearly related, might be some other mod interfering. As far as iWantWidgets are concerned, I also use "Shout Cooldowns Parallelized" (not really active though, I don't use the widgets and Lola hasn't killed any Dragons yet ... or even seen any) and "Children of Lilith" (also not active, i.e. the PC isn't a Succubus).

Thanks, that was enough for me to recreate the problem (at least once, anyway).  I found another problem, too.  The formatted messaging displays the wrong message when the owner beckons; it shows the "may offer service" message instead.  That was a simple fix.  (It's weird that I didn't notice that before.  I think I just saw what I expected to see.)  I'll have to dig around to find the cause for the persistent red messages.

I found the cause for the "owner beckons" messages appearing when they shouldn't.  There was a timing problem in a place I wouldn't have expected.  I've fixed that, as well as a related slight delay when offering service with message formatting enabled.  Thank you to @Naps-On-Dirt and @Talesien for describing the problem.  A Gold Star for you two:  ?

 

I'll get an update ready for this problem.  There's not much else for the update, but it will make gameplay smoother.

You sure are on the ball. Thanks as always. SLTR is certainly among the most well-tended mods there are for Skyrim, all thanks to your efforts.

Version 2.0.60

 

A small update, mainly to fix some annoying bugs.

 

Changed:  Dialog changes for the Strong Hand quest.
- Reworked dialog for becoming a slave by asking for gold, and you now get the gold as soon as you become a slave.
- Added a couple of extra lines at the end that vary based on the setting for owner attitude.


Changed:  Dialog changes for the Trophy Slave event.
- Wording recognizes that you weren't quite enslaved for "free" if you enslaved yourself for gold.
- Wording recognizes if you hired a hireling by becoming a slave.

 

Changed:  Owner should not wander off after telling you to masturbate.

 

Fixed:  Problems related to using the message formatting feature (added in the last version):
- The "owner beckons impatiently" messages could appear at the wrong time.
- The "may offer service" message would display when the owner beckons.
- The kneeling scene when offering service would last slightly longer than it should.

You sure all still works as intended if not using messageformat.json?
Just installed the update, but (of course) forgot to re-activate the json. In game I got the 'Your Mistress beckons to you' message, right before a sex scene (Prostitution event) started. No more message during the scene, but right after it finished I got zapped. Shouldn't there be more messages before the zap?

I think so.  A quick test showed it working in the standard way if the json file was renamed (so as not to be found).  Today's fixes were to handle the delay in processing while the formated message appears.  They should not have affected the standard display method.

It depends on what happened.  Was it a "don't ignore me when I beckon" zap, a walkaway zap for breaking out of conversation, or a slaves should feel pain zap?  If the owner was close by, you wouldn't get another beckoning message; the force greeting would just start when sex ends.  Sex scenes are pretty intrusive and take over the game while they're running, so it's possible that at the conclusion, it looked to the game as if you'd broken out of conversation, which would trigger the walkaway zap.  If you see a pattern, let me know, but a glitch right after sex doesn't surprise me.

No, older versions are not supported, so players have the most recent fixes and don't come here to report problems that no longer exist.

 

If you need it for a mod collection, remind the maintainer of that collection that it's now two versions out of date.  I do leave up the previous version, in case there's a serious problem and people need to revert to it (which also allows time for collections to catch up), but I typically don't do more than that.  Short version:  it's the collection's problem, not the mod developer's, and the more requests I see for obsolete versions, the less sympathetic I am to those collections and to maintainers who only update them infrequently.

Hi, welcome to LoversLab!  You have to read the book (at least open it) or click the button in the MCM to start the quest (they accomplish the same thing).  The MCM setting "Player can ask to be enslaved" must be enabled (it is by default) if you want to ask the follower.  You should have opened the MCM at least once to ensure that all settings are initialized.  (If you don't see the MCM, the mod is not installed and running correctly.)  The follower must be recruited and following you.  The follower must not have special AI.  Most followers are fine, but a few like Serana and Inigo are not.

Dear author, will your modification interact with the Deviously Enslaved Continued modification? It would be logical. I have been playing with these two modifications for a long time and have not found any conflicts.

i play with both all the time and have not had any problems at all, unless i forget to configure DEC's vulnerability page to accommodate SLtR.

You must be in the Solitude world space (it won't work with Open Cities) between 0800 and 1900.  PC must be female and have less than 1000 gold bounty.  PC must not be wearing all 3 of these items (2 or fewer is okay):  hobble skirt, bondage gloves, bondage boots.  The quest to model a Radiant Raiment outfit must not be active.  The Solitude assassination quest must not be active.  The battle for Solitude must not be active.  The event must be enabled in the MCM, of course.

"Time To Relax" triggered while I was mining Ebony in Gloombound Mine, which was annoying because I wasn't finished. :P But anyway, I went to nearby Kynesgrove and tried to get released, but apparently the tavern there isn't good enough for the master.  Not sure if this is a bug or not, I guess Kynesgrove doesn't really have any merchants...

 

Edit:  Another possible bug.  Had to pause the mod to do a quest, which ended the switch hairstyles quest and Tomb Raider and being naked in safe areas.  After resuming, despite being told again to be naked in safe areas, I noticed (because I'm forgetful and never remember to strip before fast travelling to a city) that it isn't being enforced anymore.

Yes, it's considered a valid location because it's not a "dungeon".

The quest objective says, "Go to a city, hold capital, or Riverwood."  Kynesgrove is none of those.  The owner says something about a backwater settlement not being a good enough place to relax.  The practical reason is, as you noted, that you can't sell your stuff there.

By "pause", I assume you mean suspending the mod (rather than exiting enslavement and later resubmitting to the owner).  Suspending the mod doesn't actually end those quests, it just suspends enforcement for them (for Tomb Raider, you get an extension on the time limit if you get near the end).  If the hair style quest is active, it's unaffected by suspending the mod, since that event has no actual enforcement.

I can't explain that.  The required nudity rule was never ended; you just got a free pass while the mod was suspended.  The rule is still checking for nudity even while mod events are suspended, but it's not considered a violation if the mod is suspended.  When the mod is un-suspended, there's no free pass anymore, so wearing clothes in prohibited areas would be a violation.

Hmm.  Correct, I did use the MCM's Suspend option.  Maybe it wasn't the suspending of it, but the (different) time I went through SS++ while already a Lola (with Lola disabled as a possible outcome of course).  Maybe thats what ended the quests?   Because whenever it happened I got explicit Quest End notifications from the base game.

Yes, that would do it.  If you get enslaved through SS++ to a mod that is not SLTR or Devious Followers, then SLTR will end all of its quests, suspend itself, and have the owner wait at the slave market.  I didn't test precisely that, but I did just test ending and restarting the nudity quest with the console, and that restarted the rule as it should (I got the explanation from the owner again, got stripped, and reequipping clothes was detected as a violation).  So, I still can't explain what could have happened in your game.

Dear author, can you supplement the Devious Enslaved Contimued by sending the player to the Submissive Lola? 
And another question, a playmate is sometimes lost when moving on a wagon through locations.

Since that mod is no longer being developed, it does not seem likely that it will be modified to send the PC directly to this mod.  However, I believe it does support Simple Slavery, which can do that.

That's not actually a question.  :)  You'd have to explain the problem in a lot more detail, but follower problems are usually related to poor game AI.
