Subs and dubs.
However some NPC's will have different accents depending on the region.
Japan Town will speak japanese.
China Town Chinese.
And some other part of town will speak even french and so on.

After the "half year montage" if you were a male V, and opened your inventory, your penis was hanging through your pants.  This would prevent that.

Ok great, we have this hot nude model, we don't need mods or anything to make it work in game, it is all here ! But WTF, no 3rd person cam !?!?!? I don't know about others, but I enjoy games a lot more in 3rd person. Sure you can say it is more "real" since we as humans see from the first person, but it is really more fun ?

 

Not for me... somebody please work on a 3rd person mod, it would make the game 10x better for some of us. I can get over all the bugs, performance issues, and weak aspects of the game as long as I can enjoy the beautiful model.

If you can find the files to rename to remove that, you can also find other clothing files in there. Which means you'll likely see mods adding items to vendor inventories sometime in the next few weeks, maybe months, depending on how much of a pain editing vendor inventories proves to be.
Also means we'll likely see mods altering the "junk" sex-related items/models, to be properly equippable at some point, likely around the same time, if not afterwards.
Given the demand, probably only a matter of time, and effort, before a "hey, we got the character editor to work after the intro, and not break everything/changes actually take effect properly!", akin to FO4's LooksMenu.


Won't go into the "Gaem not what was shown in 2018!" or anythin, isn't without it's flaws, but still see quite a bit of potential, both in official additions/later DLC, and modding. How far the latter gets ultimately depends on how much obfuscating and attempts to curtail changes to certain things were made, and/or just what we wind up getting from CDPR in support.
Fingers crossed for some readily accessible "CK-esque" tools, but I'd imagine even getting "only" similar to the Witcher 3's 'tools', would be sufficient for most of the above.

So I'm guessing it's either fixing the penis popping issue, or is censoring the game.

 

Also, some people are saying that 1.04 censored some of the nudity on the NPCs. Is this confirmed?

Yep. On 1.02 you could see your own genitals in photo mode and when laying down on your bed, for example. With the 1.04 patch you now have underwear on when naked... It was acknowledged as a bug, but that 1.05 'modesty' reference makes me wonder.

This game tho... I mean I'm fucking loving it, and I'm one of the lucky ones in terms of performance. I've been really surprised that I can play smoothly on High settings with a 6th Gen i5 and 1660Ti.
 

That said, I've never played a game that needed Lovers Lab unleashed on it more urgently than this one. The weird disparity between sex being everywhere, with everything being so hyper-sexualised, and yet V being forced to live in an almost sexless bubble is horrible... I constantly want to fuck things. Panam has a killer ass. Judy is a pornographer that invents a way to scroll shared sensations. Claire's my goddamn bae. River has a truck perfect for an enroute blowjob. I want to help Jesse Cox get his Mr Studd installed properly, then test it out with him. I want to fuck my downstairs neighbor, Barry. I want to help Misty move on from Jackie, and there are side quest and gig rescues that I would have accepted sex from, instead of (or in addition to) the eddies.
 

And that's all without even mentioning Clouds, the Moxes and Lizzies, BD's, proper Joytoys, etc.

Don't expect this to change, unfortunately. CDPR has confirmed the removal of genitals from FPP and Photo mode is not temporary/a bug, but fully intended. (see screenshots - not mine, just taken from a different forum and have seen this confirmed on different places, so it is legit)

Thanks a lot for the mod, it works great ! However it is missing 2 important pieces. 1: have it follow the character automatically(not a fixed cam) and 2: Use the right body mesh with a head as weall. Excluding the missing head, the tits look small and horrible (completely different than what you see in photo mode)

I don't want to sound ungrateful as i am not putting any work myself, aside a very simple mod in nexus. I really hope somebody will figure this out, and forgive me if i add... soon, haha.

My uneducated guess would be that they have enough to fix as is and don't want to waste time on what is -in their eyes- just a gimmick anyways. So they opted for this 'quick plug' instead and moved on to working on the 'real' issues. But as I said, just my uneducated guess. No knowing what CDPR's thinking is on this.

That's silly and hypocritical game rating requirements, or some country have stupid enough laws, and CDPR do not want to make a separate release for them. Violence is fine, and genitals are bad. Well, i hope hypocrites will choke to death on some fat dick someday...

Aside from that issue, the game is broken beyond repair when it comes to sandbox or "open world" It is thoroughly scripted, there is no actual factions, no interactivity. Just a dead, badly simulated scenery that disappears when you turn your back on it. A Matrix of sorts. Maybe it's just meant to work on consoles, and everything is sacrificed to just that. Investments must pay out, no matter how bad it will hurt the game.

Most people won't even realize what they are missing. And nobody cares if there won't be any modding scene behind it, and it will be forgotten within a year.

Honestly don't think that's the reason, since then they would've removed it from the inventory screen as well. I think this was simply the easiest solution to the clipping problem (dick visible through clothes in-game) they had. Can't blame them for choosing this option now, but I am disappointed that they closed the door fully instead of saying that they'll revisit this at a later time.

They didn't, because models with a dicks is still there. But i doubt there will be any modding tools, and i doubt that without those tools, anything can be done fix the game.

We'll see. For now I'll just enjoy the game as it is, while I wait what CDPR ends up doing to fix the problems and (hopefully) deliver on their promises. I'll save my buckets of mud and crates of rotten tomatoes for when/if they end up not doing this. Till then I'll just quietly wait and see what happens.

This game really needs modding, not really even speaking of adult oriented ones. It's a waste if it is left as it is. Just look at Night City and the quality of the character models - if someone makes good modding tools for it, I think it is the dream stage.

 

Even some simple things that add flavor to the city experience, like sitting down anywhere, eating and drinking animations instead of taking from inventory and some basic needs like hunger and the need to sleep, will not only make V's apartment not useless anymore, but I can also imagine having some events happen in there, like having someone come looking for V - but of course, if we get to the point where we are scripting events like that, then it will mean this game will get modded the fuck out anyway.

Anyone noticed a small texture glitch on female V body when you equip a tops? There is a small blue mismatch texture near the shoulder. You can see it in inventory and mirror too. I know its just a small visual bug but I use photo mode a lot and its kinda bothering me. I doubt they're going to fix this bug anytime soon since there are many other more present bug out there. Maybe modder can do something?

Yes, its a censored game. They wear black underwear. There is no full nudity in the game outside of the character creator and inventory screen.
