I did that of course. I removed the .bat extension to make sure I wouldn't run it outside of Skyrim.

I'm trying a ton of different stuff this time. Mainly just removing script heavy mods and stuff.

Edit: Disabled some mods, messed around a bit but still no dice. :/

One annoying thing I noticed in the logs is this line:

[05/31/2013 - 02:56:21PM] Error: Method OnUpdate not found on _SDQS_sprigganslave. Aborting call and returning None
stack:
<empty stack>

This line is repeated thousands of times (no joke) and is really bloating the log file. Know what this is and how I can get rid of it?

Edit 2: I started a new character (with SD), got myself enslaved, got away, uninstalled as usual (through MCM and then the mod) and could save afterwards.
Honestly, I'm all out of ideas...

Edit 3: In my last effort to remove SD, I disabled all the addons and quests through MCM, changed myself to a vanilla race, saved, waited and then uninstalled as usual. After I uninstalled the mod, I waited, changed cells, waited and then tried to save. Crash.
I give up. Guess I'll have to either play with SD forever or start a new character... which is a shame because I've done a ton of things on this character.

If it's any help, I've gotten captured maybe once (willingly) and been a spriggan host once. I recently met a random spriggan and as soon as she saw me, she snared me (couldn't control my character, was in "cinematic" mode) and it was as if she was trying to rape me but she just walked away while my character stood in agony. When it was over, CTD.

Sounds like one of SDs quests is running. The spriggan quest in your case.
Don't uninstall SD as long as one if it's quests is running... even tho the StopQuest commands should have stopped it, if such a line for this quest is present in the batch.

The scene that happend to your toon, sounds like the finishing quest, to get rid of the flowering spriggan.
That this scene didn't trigger correctly, sounds like a screwed up savegame. i say you're out of luck. Start from scratch/clean save.

Unless someone knows the exact StopQuest ids, to stop all spriggan related quests. You can wait for jbezorg to answer or someone else who might know.

Hmmm... ok... Though I did go through that tedious spriggan end sequence and waited there for a bit... One last attempt now that I have a sort of idea what's going on.

why i got crash every time i start skyrim with this mode? Every single time when the main menu appears! How to fix that? Please help! I spent 3 hours to fix that and i haven't got success. I dont even see this problem in the topic! Everyone complain about problems with bandits while i cannot even see the main menu because the game crashes.

Do you have all the requirements installed? Did you run FNIS? Did you uncheck the patches for things you don't have (Dragonborn/Dawnguard/Frostfall)? All I can think of.

On a side note: didn't fix my spriggan problems. :(

Went to the place where the ending sequence started and sure enough, the flowering spriggan popped up and did... nothing.

Have you tried one of the "How to remove all embedded scripts from saves"-guides on Nexus?

I got myself infected with a spriggan again (got the quest and everything) and finished it by going to a spriggan place. Got abused for a while and then once I got the message "Flowering Spriggan Completed" I left. So then I uninstalled as usual but still, the game crashes on save.

Honestly, it looks like the spriggan quest is really bugged.

it may not be one of the most stable quests/mods ever created, but the actual problem is your errornous savegame.

Whatever send your savegame down the drain, you better keep in mind that currupted savegames are "normal" in Skyrim.

As normals as something like that can be. The more data gets written to your savegame, the higher the risk of corrupting it.

Loads of mods don't help solve this problem, not to mention that even pure vanilla savegames can become currupted.

Any plans with Draugh and Falmers to slave too?

At the moment, there are no animtions for those creatures and i doubt there will be such animatons before SD2 gets released.

Fuck. Yeah.

Finally got this damn thing to uninstall and be able to save.

All I had to do was extract the scripts from the BSA to the scripts folder. When I did that, it asked me to overwrite a spriggan slave script.

It looks like it was a relic from an earlier version (which is weird because I use NMM to install almost all of my mods).

Now I can finally play more Skyrim lol ^_^;;

Wow. And another thing to keep in mind when helping troubleshooting.
Left overs of old mod versions. Bah... -.-

Besides, NMM should have removed it, unless this file was installed manually.

A question for jbezorg or anyone knowledgeable in the internals of SD.

I am still tinkering with ideas as a way to learn Papyrus and a passtime until SD2 comes out (by then, I am hoping to have enough tweaks to build my own extension to SD).

I am very close to adding an option to talk Thugs out of taking you ... wherever they are taking you.

I have a dialog option that, under the right conditions, allows you to walk free (still bound and without your inventory mind you).

I got the enslavement quest to stop and the thugs to let me go... it is all working great except for one maddening detail - I am still 'leashed' the the master, even after the enslavement quest stops.

I tried adding debug messages and tests to disable the animation that brings you back to the master but I am still somehow considered as leashed... which makes running away impossible.

Any insight on where to look for force a true escape would be greatly appreciated :)

jbezorg, im curious, do you plan follower support for SD2? Something that would enslave them along with player?

I thought it was just me that followers didn't get enslaved as well. Didn't they used to? Haven't really bothered to check since followers, honestly, are just a major pain in the ass. They steal your exp and just LOVE to get in your way when shooting arrows or spells. :P

Well.. it looks like the leash effect persisted because of scene 2 of the thugs quest.

And since I couldn't find a way to turn that scene off after it started, I ended up skipping it altogether.

Thugs now just show up, beat you up, steal your stuff and walk away to their lair (with an option to let you go).

If I had more time to sink into this, I would make the whole trek to the new owner optional... skipping it will have to do for now.

Now that this is out of the way (and my load order is finally stable), I can go back to experimenting with 'on sleep' events.

I have seen my companion be enslaved next to me at times.

Once, he put on a brave fight against three Thalmor after I was enslaved and eventually saved me. That was pretty heroic of him.

Another time, not so much. He ended up crawling behind a thug all the way to their destination.

i'm really don't want to write the whole follower enslave stuff again, but some pages back i explained the whole follower enslavement thingie and how to make it happen.

As a reminder: Well scripted followers, like Vilja, are better left out.

want to get started with this mod, LOVE the idea of enslavement opposed to death.  However I have 3 questions: here they are

1. which file from either the CBBE or UNBP links in the first post do you need in order to get this mod working?

2. which file from either of the two custom skeleton links do you need to get this mod working?

3. which file is needed from the FNS link in the main post?

just need to know so I don't end up downloading them all only to find out that only 1-2 are needed.  thanks

1. Your choice, both working, what look better to you

2. Same as above

3. Latest version. Don't miss to read and follow installing instructions carefully. If you miss something in FNIS procedure nothing will work

What I really mean is, say I choose the UNP option from the first post, do I need all files or just a certain file.  just like if I were to get any of the 3 skeleton replacers, they all have a lot of files so it would be nice to know which one(s) I need to download, just like the FNS link (got that one sorted out though)

CBBE: Caliente Female Body Mod BBE v3-2 (first download, NMM installerscript guided)

UNP: UNPB NMM Installer (the file from the update section, NMM installerscript guided)

Skeleton: XPMS 1-81 NMM-BAIN Installer (second main file from xp32, installerscript guided)

There are more options to opt out the visuals, but those are the basics to make things work.

P.s.: Choose only one body mod, unless you want bouncie boobs with CBBE.

But get the basics working first, before fiddling around with BB.

Did anyone get to a situation where the marker for 'Payback is a bitch' doesn't point to the Thugs location at all?

The marker I have now takes me to a random side of a road. There are two bandits strongholds and a giant camp in the overall vicinity, so I will assume I should clear them first in search of the Thugs.

Any suggestion for a more reliable way to track these guys?

Thanks. Was having the same crash problem every save/rest/sleep but not the spriggan problem.

Diactivated then uninstalled mod, FNIS, export scripts from BSA & now it continues to work.

Never got a overight message so not sure which script it still requires.

I use NMM for every mod it can handle.

clearinvalidregistrations & player.removeallitems & sledgehammer did nothing for me.

Didint work, due to a running quest and a faulty script. Didn't think of this possibility as i never encountered such a problem. Using NMM too.

Remember the RefiD of one of the thugs and use Player.MoveTo.

But i never encountered, that the chest with my stuff wasn't there. You don't have to kill anyone, unless someone took some of your stuff.
But what was there, where the thugs, fighting the bandits. Strange hideout.
