An Alternative to Death. Enslavement

Enslavement is Death.

Your stuff may be lost. It may happen that a master will sell a slave to another character. They will rob you of your items and when they leave you, most likely, you won't be able to follow. At that point, they may despawn destroying your stuff as well. Be careful!

Sanguine's Debauchery is an enslavement as an alternative to death mod for the player. Where enslavement provides for a continuous narrative rather than death.







NOTICE: Don't be an idiot. TL:DR = Screwed up save.


What Factions Enslave?
Here Are the main ones:

  • BanditFaction
  • VampireFaction
  • WIThugFaction ( Hired Thug quest )
  • WEBountyHunter ( Bounty Hunter quest )
  • ForswornFaction
  • ThalmoreFaction
  • NecromancerFaction
  • SprigganFaction ( Flowering Spriggan quest )


Keep in mind that an NPC with "Necromancer" over their head does not necessarily mean "NecromancerFaction", Nor is an NPC with "Bandit" over their head automatically in "BanditFaction", etc..

There are many factions that are specific to the area they are occupying or specific to a quest and belong to a faction that are not slavery enabled.

Escaping and Being Enslaved ( Male/Female )
While enslaved:

  • You do not have access to Magic, Inventory, Skills.
  • You must stay within a certain distance of your Master/Mistress.
  • You can pick-up/activate items.
  • If it's food, you'll immediately eat it
  • If it's an item you can use to escape, mostly weapons, your bindings will be damaged and you'll drop the item. You can then pick it up again for the same effect.


Host to a Flowering Spriggan ( Female Only )
Big thanks to Nalim for allowing me to create the Flowering Spriggan Race from his armor.

While a host:

  • You can't remove the Spriggan wrapped around you
  • You get some cool Spriggan abilities. But...
  • The Spriggan has other plans and will try to compel you to travel to it's desired destination.
  • You'll be used a while before you're released once you reach the destination.


Being Freed:

  • For both spriggan and regular enslavement:
    • There is a grace period of 1 hour game time after being freed where the player won't be attacked.
    • After that grace period is over, the enslavement quest will fully end.

    [*]For regular enslavement:

    • You can end the grace period early by going into the combat ready stance.



Hired Thugs
While a Thug slave:

  • You'll be marched to your new master. The NPC who the player stole from or A bandit boss.
  • You are free to move around but will be forced back to the leader if you go to far.
  • The Thugs keep your stuff then head to their camp.


This quest will select a killable master over a non-killable master. It's also possible for a dead character to hire thugs to hunt down the player. "killable" for this quest is an NPC that is not essential and not reserved for another quest. This pretty much means that most named NPCs will not qualify as a slave master.

Installing this Mod
Requirements:


Already included in the BSA:

  • Slave collar (by Gatti)
  • Gag (by ZaZ)
  • Strapon UNP version (by Calyps)

Installation:
Before you begin installing Sanguine's Debauchery:

  • Install the required mods following their instructions first.
  • If you have this mod already installed, uninstall first using the instructions provided.


Test the other mods. Make sure they are working. Then:

  • Download the mod file from Lovers Lab.
  • After you have extracted these files to your Skyrim data folder or, preferably, imported the archive into your mod manager and activated it.
  • Enable both Sanguine's Debauchery and ZaZ Animation Pack in the launcher.
  • Run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe
    • Follow Fore's instructions. It's important that you do so.
    • Click on "Update FNIS Behavior" button.

Starting this Mod
Starting:
Part 1: After you have installed the files and enabled sanguinesDebauchery.esp. To complete the install for a specific character:

  1. Enter MCM
  2. Select "Sanguine's Debauchery"
  3. Select "Config" in the sub-menu
  4. Select if you want the labia rings/anal egg to be added. Once the main quests begins this option will be locked.
  5. Click "INSTALL"
  6. Exit all menus.
  7. You are now ready to start by completing the drinking contest with Sam Guenvere ( available at level 14 )and wake up in the Dibella temple in Markarth


Part 2: Or you may choose to avoid the drink contest. To do so:

  1. Enter MCM
  2. Select "Sanguine's Debauchery"
  3. Select "Config" in the sub-menu
  4. Select if you want the labia rings/anal egg to be added. ( Once you click "BEGIN", the next step, this option will be locked. )
  5. Click "BEGIN"
  6. Exit all menus.
  7. You should receive the objective notification "Sanguine Is Watching" once everything has started.


Unstalling this Mod
Prior to 2012.01.14 Release.

  1. Make sure you are free from you master or complete the spriggan quest.
  2. In console type "set _SD_uninstall to 1" then hit enter.
  3. Save. ( repeat steps 1-3 for all saves you want to clean )
  4. Exit the game.
  5. Uninstall Sanguine's Debauchery
  6. Run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe
  7. Start the game and load the save you created in #2
  8. Wait a few hours game time and about a min real time. This allows running scripts that are repeating to expire/unload.
  9. Save. Either in a new slot or over the save you created in #2 ( repeat steps 7-9 for all saves you want to clean )


2012.01.14 Release and later: Disabling Sanguine's Debauchery for a specific character.

  1. Make sure you are free from you master or complete the spriggan quest ( You may have to cycle through the "BEGIN" option ):
    1. Enter MCM
    2. Select "Sanguine's Debauchery"
    3. Select "Config" in the sub-menu
    4. Click "UNINSTALL"
    5. Exit all menus ( If you enter MCM again Sanguine's Debauchery will now only show the logo )
    6. Wait 2 game hours to make sure all quests scripts have gone idle.

[*]Save. ( repeat step 1 for all the saves you want to clean. )


You won't be able to restart Sanguine's Debauchery for this character unless you preform a full uninstall.

2012.01.14 Release and later: Full Uninstall

  • Follow the instructions for "Disabling Sanguine's Debauchery for a specific character." for all characters that have started SD.
  • Exit the game.
  • Uninstall Sanguine's Debauchery
  • Run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe
  • Start the game and load the save you created in #2
  • Wait a few hours game time and about a min real time.
  • Save. Either in a new slot or over the save you created in #2 ( repeat steps 7-9 for all saves you want to clean )


The Quests
Please Note: Almost all of the quests in this Mod are handled by the Story Manager. Console quest starts won't do anything except, most likely, corrupt your save. I will not give hints on how to complete these quests here. Those spoilers will be given in the thread. If you do give away hints, please enclose them in the spoiler tag.

Regarding Sanguine's Daedric Artifact: This choice must be made before you begin. When enabled, Sanguine's Daedric Artifact is bound to the player and NPCs will experience uncontrollable lust for the player.

You can also look under "Help" in MCM if you are having trouble.

Primary Quests:

  • "In service to Sanguine" - This quests watches for the compleation of the Skyrim quest "A Night to Remember." Until that quest is completed ( or the Mod is manually started through MCM ), this Mod is idle and won't do anything.
  • "Sanguine's Debauchery" - Monitors the player's health and will trigger enslavement ( the "Enslaved!" or "Flowering Spriggan" quests ) when combat conditions are met.
  • "Entering Sanguine's Realm" - Monitors the player's actions and will trigger interactions with Sanguine / story advancements when appropraite conditions are met.
  • "Enslaved!" - This quest is active when the player is enslaved. It controls the restrictions of the Slave (the Player) and the actions of the Master/Mistress.
  • "Flowering Spriggan" - This quest is active when the player is made a host a to Spriggan. It controls how NPCs react to the player being a host as well as the player's discovery of why and what the Spriggan has done to the player.


Secondary Quests:

  • "Indentured Servant" - If the Player can gain the Master's/Mistress' trust, they will be given tasks to preform. As of now, the only task is the collection of gold. How the Player collects gold is completly at their discression.
  • "Wanted!" - If the player has a bounty, rather than killing the player the bounty hunter will enslave the player and drag them back to the hold where the bounty was posted.
  • "Payback's a Bitch" - If the player steals or pickpockets an item from a NPC that NPC may hire thugs for some revenge. These thugs will hunt the player down and enslave them. Bringing them back to the stolen item's owner.


Optional Secondary Quests:
Some secondary quests are optional and can be enabled/disabled through MCM.

  • "Gold for the Wicked" - With this quest active, the Player will gain the ability to dance or whore themselves for gold. When dancing naked or with Sanguine's Daedric Artifact equipped, NPCs observing the dance will experience uncontrollable lust and queue up on the player for sex. To use the dance spell, you must be close enough to the NPC to get a dialogue prompt AND you must hold the mouse button down until Magicka stops draining.
  • "Coveted" - Much like with dancing. If the player is naked, some NPCs will experience uncontrollable lust for the player and rape them.


Addons

  • SDpatch - frostfall.esp: Requires chesko_frostfall.esp. It makes the custom slave clothing heat sources. ( Not that it makes sense, more like an experiment in posibility. Call it a gift from Sanguine and toss in a few puns )
  • SDpatch - dawnguard.esp: Requires Dawnguard.esm. This makes the DLC's vampire and dawnguard factions slaver factions.
  • SDpatch - dragonborn.esp: Requires Dragonborn.esm. This makes the DLC's Raven Rock and Cultist factions slaver factions.


Patches
FavoredSoul Flaccid Male Model:
This is a male body texture replacer. You will need this patch if:

  1. You have loaded the "Nudes - FavoredSoulMeshes - FlaccidVersion" file from Better males Mod and it's default textures..
  2. And have checked the "Male: Using FavoredSoul flaccid version" option in MCM.


Otherwise it will look like the penis is glowing.

If you have a custom male texture installing this may not give you the desired results. FavoredSoul flaccid & erect textures are almost identical except the flaccid texture is missing the portion that maps to the erect penis. If your custom male texture for the FavoredSoul Meshes have both flaccid & erect texture versions then using the erect texture should work.

bat file reset
This bat file is the headsman axe solution to uninstalling Sanguine's Debauchery. You can run it via console and it will stop all Sanguine's Debauchery quests and reset all globals to their defaults. Try to uninstall through MCM first. It has better checks to make sure you're not enslaved or have any debuffs.

Conflicts
Any mod that alters vanilla factions. - Any mod that significantly alters vanilla factions may mean that my mod won't recognize the attacker as being a member of an eligible slaver faction.

Any mod that significantly alters the OnHit Event for the player.

Any mod that actively manipulates the player's health during combat ( e.g. auto healing ) may make it difficult to trigger the enslavement events.

Troubleshooting
I Keep Kneeling During Sex with the SexLab Version
Setup SexLab to unqeuip the hands, as the equipped restraints trigger the kneel down animation.

MCM has options that look like "$SD_OPTION_P0_HARDCORE"
The directory "\Interface\Translations" in the archive contains translations. Make sure this has also been extracted / installed with the other directories. Make sure you turn off the option to not extract README files in Nexus Mod Manager. It excludes ALL txt files. Including the language translation files.

Custom Races & Armor Not Showing
This is dependent on the creator of custom race and how they've decided to handle armor.

The Thug's never come after me.
The thug quest ( WIAddItem03 ) is the 3rd in the series of four related quests. They must be preformed and completed in sequence before they are cycled through again. There is a 48 hour wait ( game time ) between quest completion before the next quest will start.

  1. WIAddItem01 - "Did you find something good?" = Picking up an item and an NPC says something like "Hope nobody misses that...", "That was just lying around? Good find.", etc..
  2. WIAddItem02 - Rummaging through trash = Scrounging around taking things like cabbages out of barrels and containers.
  3. WIAddItem03 - Steal, Thugs hunt player = Stealing or pick-pocketing items from NPC's with a neutral or worse relationship. You don't have to get caught doing it.
  4. WIAddItem07 - Buy Dwarven artifact = Buying dwarven armor or weapons and getting a note from Calcelmo saying he's interested in acquiring it.


Hand, feet, mask but no body while wearing the Spriggan armor.
It's the commom 100% body weight armor bug. You can fix it in console with the following command: "player.setnpcweight 99"

Man! The ending for the Spriggan quest is tedious!
It's roughly an hour game time. If you have a mod that alters the game's time scale that could draw it out longer ( or shorten it ). Also. the longer you wear the spriggan armor the more powerful the armor becomes but the ending sequence lasts longer too.

I Uninstalled your mod and I died!
It means that while the mod was installed your character died and the mod prevented it. This mod toggles God mode on when before EndDeferredKill is preformed. BUT scripting can get saved with the character and it will overide later versions of a mod preventing an update from functioning. So. If this happens. Before you uninstall type "TIM" in console to Toggle Immortal Mode on. and keep it on during the uninstall process. When you have finished turn it off by typing "TIM" in console again.

I Uninstalled your mod and I'm Immortal!
If you remove SD without going through the uninstall process the player never gets EndDeferredKill run on them.

Wearing the Spriggan Armor, now what?
After the player becomes the host for the spriggan the next stage of the quest is triggered by a few specific comments made about the spriggan armor ( i.e. not any comment, not any comment about the armor, a few specific comments ) by NPCs. You'll get a quest update when it happens. If you have a mod the like "Reduced Distance NPC Greetings" (Steam) then NPCs will not make comments about the player's unusual appearance and the quest will not proceed.

The labia rings are missing their texture.
Are they a solid color or are they semi-transparent? If they're semi-transparent then they are not missing the texture. They're suppose to look that way.

SD Immortality Fix

  1. Download SD_Imortal_Fix.7z ( 1.1 KB )
  2. Load your immortal Character save.
  3. In console: Use TIM on the player to Toggle Immortal Mode on
  4. Save & exit the game
  5. Install and enable SD_Imortal_Fix.
  6. Load the save from #3
  7. In console: Use TIM on the player to Toggle Immortal Mode off
  8. Save & exit the game.
  9. Disable and uninstall SD_Imortal_Fix.
  10. Juan Ponce de León is very disappointed.


I upgraded and now I CTD whenever I try to load a save
Instead of using Continue to start the last save, try going through Load instead.

Since this last update makes SD dependent on SexLab, it's been moved to the SexLab category to make that dependency clear.

  • Removed timers that were interfering with SexLab.
2013.05.05 Final™: 2013050501

Some house cleaning before uninstalling SD for SD2

  • Cleaned out dirty NPC edits.
  • Addressed dialogue and AI behavior for the thugs for quest "Payback's a Bitch".
2013.04.26 Final™: 2013042601
  • Rollback on the changes that I think are causing CTDs. Debris blocking the cage in Mistwatch disabled.
2013.04.24 Final™: 2013042402
  • "Payback's a Bitch" alias fill order was reordered to prevent Mistwatch from becoming the thugs next/final destination after selling the player. ( Once they reach their next/final destination they become hostile to the player )
  • Spriggan quest should not properly reset enslavement status.

  • Only the player can kill the thugs now. It's a trade-off for the #1 issue of not being able to reach the destination for the player's new master.

  • Master close oroximity demerit deductions changed to 3 game hours. By default, Skyrim time is 20x real worl time. So this converts to 9 min. real time.
  • Boss #3 for "Payback's a Bitch" is now in Mistwatch.
* I will still fix game breaking stuff but for the most part I will be working on SD2. Updates will move from a weekly to a monthly schedule.

 

2013.04.13 Final: 2013041301

  • An update will reset the thug quest. Any thugs currently active will be deleted so their AI will be reset. THIS INCLUDES THUGS THAT HAVE TAKEN YOUR STUFF. DO NOT UPDATE IF YOU HAVE ENSLAVEMENT QUESTS ACTIVE.
  • Thanks goes to bjornk for finding and solving the issue with blindness & blindfolds.
  • Blindfolds will not force the player to try to follow the master when caged.
  • The broken timing loop for slavery has been fixed. You should be able to start tasks now as well as get deductions to your demerits for staying close to you master.
  • A 3rd Boss for the thug slave has been added. This one is a bandit boss and will be used when the original owner is not available or if the original owner does not belong to a crime faction resulting in no guards to be taken to.
With Ashal planning the release of his framework this is the final update for SD. Future improvements will go into SD2.

 

2013.04.07 Maintenance Update: 2013040701

  • Fixes slaves not equipping slave items. If you just installed SD.2013.04.06.04.Maint.7z, just go through the install process but rather than uninstalling, use the following command in console "startquest _SD_mcm_001". Upgrading from older versions will still need a full uninstall/install as per the OP instructions.

  • While you still can't see Sanguine's dialogue, you won't be stuck in his realm if you allow the dialogue to complete ( the sex scene has been removed to allow this ).
  • If free and still bound, picking up a weapon or using a forge, tanning rack, grind stone or armor workbench will free you.
  • Blindfolds add a depth of field & blur image space modifer at lower settings. You should have clear vision only very close to the player. Higher settings cause a pregressive reduction of vision.
  • A recursive OnItemAdd (Self) AddItem (Self) was removed.
  • Corrected an update loop so the players time spent enslaved should progress correctly allowing Tasks to start.
2013.04.02 Maintenance Update: 2013040201
  • Unable to fix unvoiced text issue. Sanguine should immediatly dismiss the player from his realm.
  • Spriggan slave quest book should advance the quest normally now.
  • Blindfolds should work now.
  • "Hardcore" mode "finished". With this enabled, slave items will not auto unequip unless the player gets the master's key, or they get help from another NPC.
  • Reworked the thug quest AI. The thugs will take the player to jail if the original item owner is part of a crime faction. Less cross country trips across Skyrim. Works well with xaz Prison Overhaul.
  • Moved the resetting of player essential later into the enslavement startup. Should help reduce the number of player deaths after enslavement starts. This WILL NOT prevent deaths from kill moves. *
  • All scripts recompiled under SKSE 1.6.13
* A note about why SD does not set the player essential: The very first release did it and it's boring as hell. Skyrim gets dull pretty quick when nothing can kill you.

 

2013.03.25 Maintenance Update: 2013032501

  • Reproduced CTDs during enslavement in Fort Greymoor. Cage selection was simplified. This stopped the CTDs during the test.

  • Finally used the cage alias to lock up the player when the master is sleeping.

  • Uninstalling will now remove players from joined factions.
  • Addressed Companions being defeated but not being enslaved. Companions will not be able to exit bleedout until they are enslaved with the player.
  • Removed the triggering conditionals for the "train run" and replaced it with a config global changable in MCM
  • Went back to the old method of ragdoll detection and removed the screen spam. That's as good as it's going to get in this version. End the scene if you get stuck.
  • Addressed WIAddItem03 ( Thug Quest ) so that it can start anytime but only one instance can be started at a time. This will require a restart of this quest which will be handled by SD's MCM update controls during the uninstall/reinstall. You remove extra thugs via the console of just kill them.
  • Removed/fixed some broken quest script fragments that were created from a Creation Kit CDT.
  • Added a conflict check for the Dark Brotherhood entrance quest.
  • Altered the start time of the sex scenes to occure during an OnUpdate event waiting for a full quest start. This will cause slower animation starts but should prevent stalling of the quest completly.
  • Added some of the new Zaz animations. ( I know I said I won't be adding anything else. But they were there... )
SDpatch - frostfall.esp
  • "Freezing to Death" in Frostfall can now make the player mortal. It must be enabled once the Frostfall patch is activated.

  • Fixed sleep state check when the slave is picking up weapons.
  • Fixed the sweat textures.

There's a lot of things left that I want to do and a lot of things that are unfinished however it's time to move on to SD2. It's something I've been wanting to do for months now. Buried somewhere at around post 1000 where I started talking about it. However, first I'm going to get a character past level 10 before I delete it for another test run. And play some of the Skyrim DLCs.

2013.02.23 FINAL Version: 2013022301

  • If a NPC's gender cannot be detected SD will bypass your gender restrictions.
  • Added SDpatch - dragonborn.esp: Requires Dragonborn.esm. This makes the DLC's Raven Rock and Cultist factions slaver factions.
  • The globals reset will only be applied during MCM new version detection and not during MCM init.

  • This version requires SKSE 1.6.9
    • All scripts were recompiled under SKSE 1.6.9.
  • This version requires FNIS 3.5
    • A new behaviors file for Sanguine'd Debauchery was generated using FNIS 3.5 and is included in the loose files along with the animations.
  • Crime punishments for slaves have been increased. They tie in to the master's normal crime faction if they have one.
    • Crime gold will be paid off but it will be deducted from the gold you've earned towards the player's freedom. A negative amount is possible and there is no limit.
    • 1/10th of the crime gold amount, rounded up, will be counted as demerits.
  • Magic effects applied to the player from hostile NPCs should trigger enslavement now as well.
  • If an update is detected, Mod settings will be restored to their defaults.
  • Improvements in positioning during sex. Actors should auto adjust if they are bumped by other NPCs. Still not a lot I can do for rough terrain.

  • The "Vampire's Thrall" quest has been combined with normal enslavement. A vampire will now offer normal tasks and if the player & master are both vampires another task, going out and feeding, will also be available.
  • Support for up to 4 companions have been added. They all will attack the NPC that tries to make the player into a slave.

  • The endless loop of adding armor has been found and removed.

Major Change: Sanguine's Debauchery now installs inactive and can be enabled for each character through the MCM menu.

  • In MCM and under "Sanguine's Debauchery -> Status" you can:
    • "Install": After you exit all menus you are ready to meet Sam and begin SD after the drinking game.
    • "Begin": Skip the drinking game.
    • "Uninstall": After you exit all menus and save you are ready to uninstall SD. If you want to restart SD for this character you will have to do a complete uninstall first.
  • Additional options have been added to MCM. Description of what they do are shown in the footnote.
  • If the player is freed by their master there is a 1 hour ( game time ) grace period where they won't be attacked. This is ended by drawing a weapon.

  • NOTE: SkyUI is now a requirement. The disadvantage of requiring an additional Mod is outweighed by giving the player the ability to tweak Sanguine's Debauchery to their liking. You can:
    • Choose to enable & disable SD for specific characters.
    • Preform a recovery / restart of SD that resets all quests.
    • Disable the labia rings / anal egg. If you already have them, then preform a recovery & restart of SD with the option off.
    • Change enslavement conditions ( health buffers and thresholds )
    • Escape criteria ( how much gold you have to earn through tasks. How long you have to wait before preforming tasks )
  • Auto TIM. The player is made essential while the enslavement quests start up.
  • In addition to the escape radius there is now also a minimum amount of time the player must stay outside that radius to qualify for an escape ( In testing, the master walked through a door and suddenly my character was free )

  • The master/mistress is a little less restrictive. They won't run around picking up weapons unless the player is preforming tasks. They still watch the player though.
  • Additional combat shutdown is added before the story event is sent to the story manager. This should help reduce deaths followed by enslavement.
  • For the spriggan quest:
    • Spriggans will heal their host so they don't die.
    • "Reach folklore & legends" is no longer initially disabled.
    • Some logic that was used to prevent multiple Flowing Spriggans from spawning was restructured with the intent to still prevent multiple spawns and also reduce the start-up time for the _SD_sprigganslave quest that results in the spriggan to continue to attack.

  • Companions following the player are captured as well. Currently there is no testing to see if the companion is still capable of fighting before they are enslaved. Also altering active companion AI by adding packages seems to freeze the game at random. So development in this direction may be limited.
  • The master/mistress temperament to the player is indicated by the player's posture.
  • The mix of models in the included in the BSA file are being shifted all to UNP rather than a UNP/CBBE mix. This is preparation work for a configuration toggle between CBBE & UNP.

  • Escape & food Items are no longer checked from a list. They are now checked by type. This removes some items that can be used as escape items but gives more general support for other mods.
  • This also means that if you pick up potions you will consume them when the player's hands are bound. So don't pick it up if you don't want that to happen.
  • Once the bindings are removed you gain full control of your inventory and no longer drop weapons or items.
  • The gag will prevent casting of any spells and use of the voice.
  • Vampire task is nearly finished.
  • Bounty Hunters have been added back into SD.

  • Your Master / Mistress will refuse to give you food while gaged.
  • You must be in good standing with your Master / Mistress to be freed.
  • Having sex with and giving gold to your Master / Mistress by preforming and succeeding given tasks improves your standing.
  • Likewise, failing a task reduces your standing.

SD MCM menu doesn't show up anymore!! literally blank. there is no way to configure anything. even the rose picture suddenly disappeared. but other Mode's MCM still works fine. only the SD doesn't show up. of course i keep my mcm latest version. any idea?

Accepted Indentured Servitude after waiting, as soon as the quest began, I transformed into a vampire.  So I was just wondering, does being enslaved prevent the character from turning after contracting vamprism?

 

Indirectly. Bethesda has limited the transformation to happen during the following conditions. This is the If statement that wraps around Bethesda's code to vampire transformation. It is proceeded by the comment "Vampire progression should not happen if player is in combat or controls are locked or the player can't fast travel".

So, while the player is enslaved and cannot fight ( Game.IsFightingControlsEnabled() is false ) the player cannot transform into a vampire ( or progress in vampirism ) . If I start messing with that then I begin conflicting with mods like Vampiric Thirst by Miss Leeches.

 

At this point I had to ask myself if changing this to work fulfills  the primary goal of this mod. That answer is "No". The player in this situation has already met the primary goal of the mod. Enslavement rather than death. If I start changing this then I start making "Sanguine's Debauchery Vampiric Overhaul" and also begin to prevent players from using Vampiric Overhaul mods like "Vampiric Thirst".

 

A secondary goal of SD was escape sequences that, hopefully, made some sort of sense. While becoming a vampire and gaining the player's freedom that way would be nice. It's not necessary. Also, becoming a Thrall ( player joins the faction as a normal human ) became available and also offered the same opportunity for a vampiric player.

Oh, okay.  Well, thanks for the explanation Jbezorg.  I appreciate that.  Yeah, I had no idea about all that; and messing around to where it could conflict with vampire overhaul mods would definitely not be a good thing.  I'm such a user myself, actually, using Brehanin's vampire mod. 

 

Yes please, anytime enslavement starts would be great for a 'train ride'. I totally love this mod.

 

Also, I was successfully handed over by the thugs but I did experience stops in the road (fixed I believe by removing the time-out?). When we got into the cave I was frozen in the kneeling position, I'm presuming the loss of control is intentional but maybe not in the kneeling position, bit weird gliding to my new master. Problem was that every bandit but my master attacked the thug while he was delivering me. Not sure how you can handle the factions to fix that.

 

To whoever made the observation about the prison overhaul conflicting with the punishment - thank you. I will test that out too.

I'm having some faction issues with the Thugs that come to teach me a lesson after some crime.  They aren't hostile to me, or 1 out of the bunch will be hostile and the others not.  They say their dialog and just stand there (often follow me around if I don't kill them off).  They will wander off if I kill the single hostile Thug.  I can go ahead and attack and kill the rest without the guards or anything getting involved, however.  Everything else, including coveted dancing, solicitation and enslavement/escape appears to be working fine.  I'm using SD.2013.03.11.03.Maint. 

That's a vanilla bug and mentioned in an Skyrim wiki (uesp i think, but not sure).

More bugs are listed as well, like thugs spawning in towns having the chance of being completly non-hostile and if you attack them, you comit a crime but if they attack you, no guard will help.

Most quests i read up on wiki's got a note or bug section. Help's alot to not get stuck or to know what screwed up now to avoid it next time.

in case of Dawnguard and the player following the vampire questline, following the bug section of one of the wiki's is essential if you don't want to do the whole quest from start.

 

I think this is related to the joining of factions.

 

There is a scene in WIAddItems03 that is triggered when the thugs get close enough to the player. It's the part where the thugs say "We're here to teach you a lesson". After that scene ends, the thugs are added to the "Hates Player" faction.

 

There is a slave crime faction SD. It is what should cause the master to react hostile to the player when the crime of pick-pocketing is committed. When the player is enslaved both the player and the NPC are added to the faction.

 

I am thinking that the dynamic addition of the player and / or NPC to a faction simply does not take sometimes.

 

 

What you're describing, is that vanilla or something SD is doing to the factions?  In hindsight, I think CGi might be right in that it is a vanilla bug.  This friendly thug thing happened to me once before.  It was before I had SD in the BEGIN state (I wasn't high enough to get the drinking quest and didn't want to manually activate before that time, was also an earlier version of SD).  This would mean that even if I'd lost to the thugs, I wouldn't be enslaved (and couldn't voluntarily submit), right?

About SD disappearing from MCM I had the same issue first I updated. I haven't reported because I was at the start of the game, so I just deleted the save and restarted with previous one. Haven't seen this happen anymore. The only help I can give you is I'm sure it's not related to uninstall/reinstall procedure, as I never used it. When I update I simply delete all saves and start with a new game.

This is why it usually takes me so long to decide to update :P

And never updated SkyUI from 3.1 after installing it as SD requisite.

With SkyUI 3.2 active effects are now displayed as on-screen widgets which is a pretty cool addition IMO, but mods disappearing from MCM has been an issue recently. SkyUI 3.4 aims to fix that issue.

 

Oh, forgot to mention, you can now search for location names on the map screen.

Nah, that's not it. Sorry for the very slow reply, but yeah, I thought it might be some conflicting mods, but nope. I reinstalled Skyrim and activated only the necessary mods.

Conflicts

Any mod that alters vanilla factions. - Any mod that significantly alters vanilla factions may mean that my mod won't recognize the attacker as being a member of an eligible slaver faction.

 

  • WARZONES - Civil Unrest

 

 

Can someone explain how this conflict actually plays out in a practical way? Does it cause game crashes, break enslavement entirely, or just prevent a couple of the factions from enslaving the player?

 

Having played through Skyrim a few times with Warzones I find I'm really, really, really missing it now that it's gone. So if the conflicts are only minor factional issues then I'm very tempted to enable it again and just miss out on some of that enslavement.

Loving this mod, makes things a little more interesting than just getting killed. 


 


Problem I'm running into is this, I've been running with just standard Calientes CBBE installed, not with BBP enabled. Worked great until a Spriggan got me, then not so much. So I've installed the BBP files, updated stuff that needed updating, and tried again. Great! Now the Spriggan capture works fine...


 


But regular animations do not. My characters breasts tend to end up in weird fixed poses during sex scenes now. For example, one will be nearly squished flat while the other appears to be attached via the nipple to the moon. Sometimes they turn inside out and clip through her back, particularly in doggystyle. When she gets up, it's like someone is pulling her up by them. It's really distracting.


 


As near as I can tell, it's because the regular sex animations are BBP compatible, so the skeleton doesn't move those bones around when animating (which seems weird, Skyrim uses IK so the bones should at least attempt to move with the chest). I've tried both listed skeletons to no avail. I can't imagine this is functioning like it's supposed too, the standard sex animations are just totally fugly with her breasts not working right. 


 


Any ideas?

Reloading the save worked. I'm running 3.4 as well, don't know why that happened.

 

One more thing, sorry for spamming problems here, but as I said earlier, I haven't updated this mod for a while. On to the problem:

I'm trying out dancing in towns and noticed after a while that asking people if I should dance for them only gave a coveted buff, that's fair enough. Then I found out I had to use the spell, but when I did, the screen just went blurry and nothing happened afterwards.

 

EDIT: I should really start do more when I find a problem... It all worked out when I quick traveled to Whiterun. Now I dance after asking.

 

PS: I love the new additions to the mod, great work! I really like the new sex animation, look very rough, as it should be. The previous animations could perhaps be sped up a bit or something? I don't know how it would turn out, but just an idea.

 

Would be kinda cool if the NPCs were actually physically standing in queue after dancing. Watching and waiting for their turn. Another addition that would be cool, is that you'd get reduced chances of people queuing up on you if you were dancing fully clothed and have some robes that would increase the chances and of course if you were nude, then you'd get the best chances. Another thing would be that if they stand in queue, that some would pay a bit extra coin, I don't know if it's already there (in that case I haven't noticed), but it would show that normal people are a bit different and nicer than thugs and bandits.

 

I like the flaccid option too, as it looks kinda weird looting a dead man with an erect penis. Though the texture on the penis is really bad (guessing you already know that though), so I'll be using the erect one for now.

 

Yet another addition could be to bribe the guard with services if you have a smaller bounty that is a bit too high to persuade your way out of it, sorta like in Animated Prostitution, but with a SD's touch on it.

 

I can't seem to get the "End current scene" to work though.

 

Again, great mod, loving it. Lovers Lab should get something like NMM to make updates easier.

And trust me, you can't solve all Skyrim problems. Example, your thugs work 1000 times better than vanilla ones ;)

If you are using the FavoredSoul Flaccid model just overwrite it's textures with the erect version's textures. When the erect bodysuit is added it will look correct.

Rerun FNIS. IIRC FNIS maps the skeleton to the animation and if you've changed skeletons that may be the issue.
