CGi Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 You still didn't answer, if you had the quest to go to the Arcaneum. if you had this quest, the next will be to complete the life cycle.But i'm sure, you got none of those quests, so the book nor the spriggan trigger.Get an npc to comment about your appearance first. The quest will then update automaticly. Again: Check for incompatible mods (see OP) and install the latest Fuz-Roh-Do, if not already installed.
rustynuts Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 In answer to your question, no didn't get the npc text, yes do have Fuz Roh- Do, and only dialogue mods are for Lydia (trade dialogue), and less condescending guards. IN the archivied thread thread some one said you could just go strait to the book in Winterhold to start the quest, which it didn't. Another suggestion was to use console commands to start the quest, which it did. Since I had the book in my inventory, it went strait to the cave, which I did but nothing has happened. I want this quest over with quickly so I can un-install it. I don't want to wait for some random event to happen in a weeks time before I can do it. Neither do I want to loose the charater.
CGi Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 You should wait for jbezorg to answer, as i don't know the quest id(s) for the StopQuest command, to fully stop SD. if you want, you could try yourself. TES5Edit will tell you all quest ids from SD.
DeepBlueFrog Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Something worth considering. I spent time this weekend moving over to SexLab for everything except SD. I lost some options from Sexis Defeated but I gained a lot more smoothness and stability. In particular, having the SexLab basic rape/defeated mod kick in before SD works a lot better than it used to with Sexis Defeated. It may help that I disabled the sex scene on enslavement because I figured there was a chance for a sex scene from the SexLab mod anyway. So far so good...

Molevalence Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 This is a great mod. A few hiccups here and there but only minor nuisances. I did experience something that was very interesting though. I forgot I had the difficulty on master and had Lydia the housecarl following me and we got ambushed by hired thugs. Only took a couple hits for me to get captured and Lydia continued to fight. When they beat her down they captured her too. I was a little stunned then he started escorting us to Mistwatch to sell us. Has this happened to anyone else? Just thought everyone should know. Also I have a few questions/suggestions for the creator. 1. When I got captured I was near Falkreath, that was quite the walk to Mistwatch is there any function to fast forward to the given location? If there is any idea how to activate it?' 2. This mod makes the game more extreme now I carry more potions with me and carry an escort for safety measures but there were sometimes where I wanted to be the "Master" lol is there a function to do this and if not in my opinion would be a good idea. Thanks again for the great mod and I hope my suggestions are good.

I was telling a friend just the other day that if I had any clue how to mod Skyrim, or, more to the point how to script, I had/have a bunch of ideas for it. One of them was when you get killed, instead of just dying and being forced to auto-reload, you would be sent to Sovngarde, or a place like it. Needless to say though, this isn't quite like that but it's incredible nonetheless =D "I was captured by the Forsworn and kept in their camp for about 3 days, until my master was pleased enough to allow me to try and pay for my freedom. It was only then that I realized my master had all my items (read it, but for some reason it just didn't click until I attempted to pickpocket them). Then proceeded to take my gold from her, luckily successfully, and then "paid" for my freedom. Afterwards, I walked a few meters away from the camp where I was captured and took my sword back, then waited for a while from a safe distance until it was past midnight, and then slowly made my way back to the camp, where I started slitting their throats one by one (using a mod called Sneak tools). Although come to think of it, it may have been more epic to just summon Odahviin and let him roast them alive =) may have to try that one." Anyway, amazing everything so far is working just as it should, not even the slightest problem on my end and it made the game that much more complete and fun. All of that said though, I do have a couple questions: 1) When I selected the option to have the Sanguine item, I didn't realize that the item would be equipped to the "Mask" slot on me, the slot where the Dragon priest masks go, and since I'm sort of a Battle-mage of sorts, those masks are very useful to me, and I can't put it back on Is there a way circumvent that? keep Sanguine's item (which I'm still not entirely sure what's the item for) and be able to wear the masks? perhaps somehow assign either item to another slot? If not, it's alright, I guess I could simply disenchant the mask via mod and put the enchantment on another item, though being able to keep the mask would be cool if anyone would help answer/with that 2) When I was captured, my master took all of my items, every single one except my one-handed sword, the sword I happened to be using to fight them at the time. So yes... that adds the extra element of tracking back where the hell your weapon has dropped when you got enslaved Regarding the fast forward for the walk to Mistwatch, that has been requested a few times. It wouldn't be too hard to add a condition or a dialog option to send you directly to your destination. I am hoping SD2 will come with that option already built in.

I'll make sure to always remember where I was captured so to get my trusty weapon back whenever I'm freed. This raises a question regarding that weapon though: 1) Will, say that sword, ever despawn when it drops? perhaps waiting a certain number of days, if I got captured and sent very far away from it? any risk of losing it? Thanks for the response I guess I'll just have to go and disenchant the mask to put it on another piece of equipment. My gear is not very epic lol, my "main armor" is basically the ragged trousers, and I get away with fighting because I have certain accessories or weapons/magic/shouts... mask being one of the accessories I rely heavily on. DeepBlueFrog Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 @monababii - Your weapon should not despawn, but it happens that it can drop under rocks or inside landscapes. I had to spend some time recently tracking back Dawnguard after I realized I had lost it during a fight. I found it under the tower where I was when I dropped it. This is a Skyrim issue - some quest items can be found underground already. As far as I can tell, the daedric implants are mostly for show (although they probably have some enchantement attached to them for the Coveted effect). In SD2, I would like to see something a little more story driven - for example, the items could be provided by Sanguine during the first 'meeting' as a physical reminder of the contract he has for you. @KING168 - You should first select INSTALL - escape the configuration menu - wait unti you see a message that SD is installed and THEN go back to the config menu and find the BEGIN button (replacing the INSTALL button). Click on the BEGIN button, escape the menu and wait for the 'Sanguine is watching' message if you want to start the mod. Otherwise, the mod will start after a certain binge related quest...

Wait until you see the message that Sanguines Debauchery has been installed then open the menus again. The "install" button should be replaced by the "Begin" button.

If you are wearing that and dance for a group (and have the "train run" enabled) you are going to have a lot of sex. If you are not wearing that then you have to dance nude to get the sex. Be glad you aren't playing a guy, his artifact isn't visible, it's very large and would contribute to a huge case of constipation.

I would like to get rid of Sexis altogether. I had the same experience with the CK editor - it feels like a vast labyrinth of forms, settings and options. The scenes editor completely escapes me among other things.
