jbezorg Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 @AwfulArchdemon: Why i took your words seriously? Because written words hardly transfer moods. On the other hand: Would it be better if i see everything you write as a joke? Aaaaaand: i didn't take you awefully serious. All a matter of respect, imho. @jbezorg: Like i wrote: i don't know what's the reason. But you forgot to answer twice, so i wrote this as a reminder ... mentioning some growing suspicions. i'm always trying hard not to annoy people, but i take commission serious. No matter what's the subject. i agreed and a promisse is a promisse. i just work different than most people and due to this need more feedback. if the project is done, it's done. No more adding, just bug fixing. So after all: Take your time. i'll stop development until you finally find some spare time to mess with the attachement and write an answer. if you think the attachement is outdated, i'll send you the actual DevBuild, even tho you can answer all my questions using the DevBuild, you already got. Like I said. I'm not angry at you ( or anyone ) and I do appreciate the work you've done. I'll have time this weekend to look at it and I'll make sure you get the answers you need.
jbezorg Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 man, why does everyone take me so seriously? I, for one, have never taken you seriously. I kid. Thanks(?) lol? Don't take me seriously It was a joke and a play on the words that has now gone full circle.
Kotazero Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 All of it works for me but the issue i had is the spriggan armor didnt show up. Do i need to download it?
AwfulArchdemon Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 All of it works for me but the issue i had is the spriggan armor didnt show up. Do i need to download it? Just the armor was missing? Rest of the Spriggan quest worked fine (did people mention your armor, starting the whole quest for the book, etc)?
DeepBlueFrog Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 I noticed something odd today. Somehow, I lost all ability to craft anything. I can activate a cooking pot or a forge, but my character immediately exists the menu and goes back to being idle. I tracked down the issue to the Thugs quest-line. Before being captured by Thugs, I am able to craft. By the time I escape, I am no longer able to craft. Is crafting supposed to be disabled while 'Payback is a Bitch' is running? or is this a bug? I will push on until the full quest is complete in case I get crafting skills back but I thought I should ask in case anyone noticed that before.

No now that i think about it however under the status screen the flowering spriggan quest was checked
CGi Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 How far did the spriggan enslavement run?Did your toon get raped? Was the rape scene interrupted in some way or did it finish? To me it sounds like the whole post process, to aquire the armor, did not finish. P.s.: Check the OP for a note about the "body weigth bug". Never had this issue but might help. Edit: Did you do and finish this quest before or was this the first time?
screedsofdisorder Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Interesting anecdote... recently while using SD and a few of the new SexLab mods, after playing for a while I receive an alert that I'm running critically low on disc space. Now, I knew had close to 40GB free on my SSD, so this was most perplexing when my C: drive was showing 47kb free. The game was still running OK but my first thought was "oh crap, malware or hard drive failure!" After a bit of hunting I found my Skyrim log files had skyrocketed to 37GB! That's not a typo. One was 30 gig, another was 7! Notepad refused to open them as they were too huge! I was pretty amused. It boggles the mind the number of lines of text that would have had to be generated! I'm not sure what it was exactly but possibly LoversHook or one of the new SexLab ones but I'll have to do a bit of testing to figure it out. I disabled SD to see what would happen (been having issues with the scenes anyway, they seem to just keep going forever, need to figure out what's causing that) and it seems to have stopped whatever was causing it. Note: this not a request for help, a bug report or anything like that, I am well aware I have a bazillion concurrent and probably conflicting mods running so I'm assuming it's a conflict of some sort that I need to track down what is causing SD to have a hissy fit. Also, I have logging turned on so it's probably unusual anyway! I should probably just uninstall everything any start from scratch one of these days, just a scary thought with all the things I want to have active. Just thought I'd share! Keep up the good work jbezorg! Always look forward to what you bring out.

Keep up the good work jbezorg! Always look forward to what you bring out. I had the same problem. I turned on the logs to get a better view into some modifications I made to SD scripts and I ended up with an inflated log (something like 100K a second). Most entries in the logs were copies of the same warning from one of the SD scripts. Since I made changes to that script already, I blamed it on my small scripting experience at the time.

Hearthfire DLC is also notorious for dumping a lot of errors into the logs. So much so that I've removed it from my load order.
CGi Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Or just disable Papyrus logging if it's not needed, as every script will be slowed down while the log is being spammed.Ok, it becomes only noticable the bigger the log grows but with all those scripted mods people run and claim about scripts not triggering, there don't has to be another stone in the way.
ganeysgod99 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 So is there a reason that it keeps kicking me out a few moments after I've been enslaved?
Kotazero Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 alright i figured out my spriggan issue(im an idiot) i was using a custom race once i changed it worked and this may not be the right place to ask this but how do i get the same breat physics that the spriggan armor gives? I've tried all sorts of combos but i always get breasts that go flat against the body when i move forward and pull away when walking backwards. I use CBBE so is there a specific skeleton or mod i need for the physics?
WaxenFigure Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 So is there a reason that it keeps kicking me out a few moments after I've been enslaved?Yes, you probably don't have all the prerequisites loaded so the first time it hits a missing item you get kicked out of the game.

I use UNP BBP, with ning's skeleton, and this addition to BBP, and finish it off with UNP configurator. You'll be bouncin' around in no time.

CGi Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 it's all written in the OP. Just don't forget to (re)run FNiS after you installed all prerequisites and SD.
whatto51 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Please help me understand. For the first time my PC was traveled to Mistwatch by thugs (everything worked fine). I thought to be sold to a new master. Instead the thugs escorted me into the castle and left me in the main room. Enslavement ended and "payback" started, but bandits were still friendly and helped me to get free. So payback just consists in finding thugs hide and kill them.Is this the way it should work? Many thanks

CGi Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 "Yes" was the only answer i came up with too.But honestly: What exactly don't you understand, whatto51?
whatto51 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 "Yes" was the only answer i came up with too. But honestly: What exactly don't you understand, whatto51? Well, I thought PC to be sold to new master for money, and not to become bandit ally
CGi Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 is selling actually integrated in SD? Never happend to me. Only change in master was thru another NPC killing my momentary master or being handed over to the person, who hired the thugs. And this was a long time ago. Haven't come across thugs for 2 or more SD versions. :/ Do they still deliver the player to the contract giver or only drag her/him to mistwatch? And what was it about the bounty hunters again? -.-' Never came across those, in my whole time playing Skyrim. And yes, i already had a 20k bounty on my head for a very long time as i just didn't notice and never went to Markarth for a long time.

Mistwatch is alternative, I was delivered to others too (always without new enslavement). Bounty hunters are like Lochness, never seen by most people but this is vanilla issue, not SD fault. About selling, I read somewhere SD is integrated with PO and you could be transfered to guard. Personally I remember to be tranfered to a bandit chief (old SD version), but I suspect thug master death was the cause (it happened out of my sight, so I'm not sure). Think the solution could be remove PC from bandit faction shortly after the deal. You must give thugs time to go away and meanwhile stop the PC from fleeing. An issue I hope to be solved in SD2 is when transfered to new master due to old one death, collar and wrist bindings are not re-equiped (hardcore mode).
CGi Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 i know that thugs and bounty hunters are handled by the game itself, SD just using them. But they are still strange. At low levels i encountered them every level (sometimes twice) and now they seem to hide from me. :/ SD is not really integrated in xaz PO. But things can happen and you end up with a guard as master.Happend to me only once and not in a towns that has it's own worldspace. i was handed over in ivarstead, if i remember right.
