I'll give it a go anyway since it seems to be well endorsed outside of its own forum. WotC is hit or miss (mostly miss) for me. Take a shower/bath and still come out covered in cum stains; have to use LooksMenu to remove them.

Have had to do so myself a few times before, after building stuff.
Slorm Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 (edited) I've never had problems with WotC but I have noticed that if you have a lot of stains then the shower doesn't remove them all on the straight away but if you let it carry on it does remove them all in the end (using shower from BYOP). So, yes, I'm pretty sure it's due to being a custom race, as far as I know, and I've no real idea why. The problem is not your mod, but the overlays. They are made for CBBE and FG. Other bodies have different UV Maps, so the overlay is applied, but they're not where they should be and/or they're too warped. Someone has to do overlays for those bodies.

That's what I figured, but haven't poked around with textures much, so wasn't sure

I didn't add any showers or stuff like that. So far has only had problems when trying to clean NPCs travelling with me.

The removal timer doesn't carry over into saves, so if you restore from a save which was made while an overlay was applied, that overlay will persist indefinitely until you remove it via one of the other methods suggested. I personally just use the "makeup mirror" which comes with the Hardship mod to launch the LooksMenu interface so I can use its overlay manager to remove overlays I don't want. 1

Thank you for your response. I removed it using Wash out that Cum mod. 1
ADisappointment Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 So a question, is it normal for the mutant jiz to never go away or is this a bug?

All the overlays are treated the same, there's nothing unique about the glowing textures except that they're maybe more noticeable. If you (auto, exit, manual)save before the removal timer completes and load from there, the overlay will stick around until you take it off some other way (the Wash Off That Cum mod, the LooksMenu overlays manager perhaps via the makeup mirror in Hardship or Looks Mirror mod or via `slm 14` console command, et cetera). 2

HabibHanson Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Any chance there will be a no glow version in the future? Call me old fashioned but it always looks unhealthy when people are walking around with exploded glow sticks dripping off them.

If so, that's already configurable by turning off "creature and mutant overlays" in the MCM. If you mean not having such bright overlays, there's a CumOverlays - ReducedGlow.7z patch in the mod's downloads list. 2

Follow-up question, are there plans to support custom timers for how long the overlay sticks around in the future as an MCM option?

Definitely not. ? That'd need a way to define or override XML definitions on-the-fly, which would be a lot of unnecessary complexity for AAF to handle. Particularly when it's one of the easiest options for users to change, as it's just opening up the XML, changing the 'duration="%"' to a desired value throughout the file, and saving it.

Papersword Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 I don't think it's limited to the overlays from here, but I thought it would be the best place to ask. Is there a config option I missed setting correctly that causes some overlays to be visible through clothing/armour/character models? One of the pubic cum overlays can always be seen regardless of camera angle. Almost as if it's a floating, glowing, stain. I think there's a green mutant chest overlay that also appears to show right through clothes and armour. Not all the overlays do this, so I'm assuming there's just something I missed.

It doesn't seem like a popular option but I wanted to test it out. Also can you edit to any color?

But I personally find the green distracting and just switch in MCM to make them the same as everyone else (disable "creature and mutant overlays").

I thought adding color to different species was a great idea actually.

Was what I did, think I have some 'prototyped' variations lying around which I lost interest in touching, from doing precisely that, messing with 'em in Material Editor, checking how it looked in-game, repeat. 1

Arcturus7777 Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 I am not getting the overlays. this is a new game, and I been thinking on what is different in my load order. I did put 5 or 6 captive tattoos on the character at character creation, and was wondering if there is a limit on the number of overlays. also 3 or 4 more have been added by raiders. I have been testing stuff, so I am starting over frequently. I was getting overlays on last new game.
