I report. I teleport with Piper in Senchuari and seconds later I get a message that she has given birth (she was pregnant a long time ago, so this is normal). I've been working on the weapon lathe for a while, and when I turned around I saw this. I checked Piper and there was no baby in it. Is this a bug or is it normal?

can't tell from this image, please select the baby in console (if you can)

so that is the good news, the mod is working (I did say that Babies were going to completely change and that some old babies weren't going to survive the move)

so two things now

1q. if you don't want the baby

1a. then do nothing

 

2q. if you want the baby (it is a Male Black Baby)

2a. go into console, and additem XX00950C - [Baby] Primary Male Black Baby (XX - by now, you should know what XX is)

(so the timer is going to be reset but that was going to happen regardless)

here are the ID codes for the Misc Babies incase you lost one or two in the change

also I did remove two of the clone Babies so that they are now Combat Clones(Follower) and Combat Clones(Settler)

The baby doesn't matter. What is important to me is to help as much as I can. I hope I was helpful.

so I have change these Syringes to not require a timer (because it was annoying)

there is a MCM option to control the items

Under "Creature Extraction Option" Off - Gives You the Product, On - Gives the Creature the Product

(I should have clean it up, next time)

So the solution is to set it to "off" so that the DNA spawns in the creatures inventory?

download this file and place it in \Fallout 4\Data\MCM\Config\INVB_WastelandDairy

Good to know. Found out I also chose the normal version by accident, heh. Maybe mark it as with Armor Keywords? There's a growing group of users that use AWKCR-R and Crafting Framework as alternatives.

Yeaah I avoid AWKCR now, there is just so much unnecessary stuff added that I don't care about in that mod. Seriously why power armor paints added to the levelled lists? I don't care about that... Just wanted better armor functionality.

 

To the OP, I am not entirely sure on whether I need those update.esps or not. I am starting a new game, are they only for updating the mod mid playthrough? Or do I still need them?

Personally I only really use the AWKCR for the Workbenches and that more than a few clothing and weapon mods requires it

(I have batch files of a huge number of mods in them)

Just wanted to clear something up. The main page of Wasteland Dairy Framework says it requires "most recent version of Family Planning." But the Fomod for WDF under section FPE More Creatures say "This is NOT compatible with "Family Planning"". So the human side of FPE works but the Creatures side of FPE isn't updated yet? Can't seem to make heads or tails of which versions of FPE and WDF are the currently stable versions.

first thing, you missed the "Enhanced" part

Requires The Latest version of Family Planning Enhanced

Advanced Pregnancy Options requires Family Planning Enhanced MCM option "Allow Creatures" to be turned on!

AAF Family Planning Enhanced

 

but there is the original mod Called "Family Planning"

and that is completely incompatible

children is fine but not living babies (frozen Babies is fine also)

Hi,

 

I have a question about the loyalty chip please.  I cloned Danse, and when the clone grew up he had a loyalty chip on him.  Following your notes above, I took it out of his inventory, then put it back in and activated it.

 

When I activated it I got the "loyalty chip scanning" message, but his behavior seems unchanged.  I only have the ability to trade with him.

 

Is this the correct behavior or am I doing something wrong?

so A loyally chip should swap a settler version to a follower version (a complete swap so don't put anything important in his inventory)

but nowadays I would recommend Unlimited Combat Followers by SKK to manage followers
