castle456 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 U mean 2.5.71 not 2.6.71 , right? cause fomm tells me ver 2.5.71
prideslayer Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 It's 2.6.71, I just messed up the comment in the ESM. The FOMOD has the right version #.
prideslayer Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 err actually I messed it up in one part in the fomod and not the other. I'll update it again later with both of those fixed.. but as long as it ends in .71 you have the right one.
saladboy21 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 OK, so I can't install the new FOMODS because the FOMM will no longer accept my password. I have not changed my password. I downloaded the link upthread but it crashes soon as I double click it. Help? I'd like to be able to update my Sexout.
prideslayer Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 Don't use the FOMM integration with Nexus. That's the only thing that needs a password, and it's broken. Always has been.

[/quote'] May I ask how to install it w/o the password prompt? When I double click the FOMOD or when I go to package manager I get the prompt ETA: zero snark intended. ETA 2: I can x-out the login, but FOMM always crashes when I do so and try to install, so I assume I need it.

When I double click the FOMOD or when I go to package manager I get the prompt ETA: zero snark intended. You probably need to uncheck 'Check for new FOMod versions' and 'Add missing info to FOMods' under 'Settings -> General'.

Thank You. This will make me rage far less about FOMODS
prideslayer Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 FYI saladboy, it's not this fomod that broke that -- the update check in FOMM just recently started "working" again, likely because some missing hostname or page at the nexus suddenly returned. Up until yesterday or the day before the page it asks for was missing; I figured it was back now because I have a column full of "ERROR" in the web check column or whatever that has been blank for the past year or so. By "working" I of course mean "throwing an error and crashing" rather than silently trapping the error it was getting before that. Exception handlers are for n00bs!
MistahIncognito Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 But prideslayer. Exception handling and decent software development standards are too much effort when you want something that executes, however briefly.

prideslayer Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 Next release (.72) fomod script is going to reorder all your sexout ESMs, you illiterate twits. *ducks*. It will not reorder DLC. It will find the 'highest' positioned DLC and place itself immediately after it, and then put all the sexout ESMs it finds in this order: Sexout.esm SexoutCommonResources.esm SexoutPregnancyV3.esm SexoutSlavery.esm SexoutLegion.esm SexoutStore.esm If I've missed any sexout ESMs, let me know. Edit: This means that not only will sexouts fomod 'fix' any sexout-related load order issues for you, but that if you "reactivate" it from the FOMM package manager, it will do so again, so you can do this after installing any other sexout ESMs to fix up your load order again.
KainsChylde Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 The Cheyenne Replacer is an esm too. Its just for an NPC to work right so it can go after everything.

KGRam Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Just FYI when I add the core fomod to FOM it shows ver 2.5.71, but I open edit info and it shows mod ver 2.5.71 and mod ver (script) 2.6.71. Is this intended for your tracking?
Mr. Manguy Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Noob question: Is there supposed to be a SexoutNG - Data.fomod file in the OP? Because I'm not seeing it.
