Hello, can i have some help from someone? I don't really understand how to use this mod. I downloaded it and i put it into the data folder but how can i activate it ingame? I click on play but after i don't know how to do anything about it. I never used modes before...

you might want to look up a guide for first time modders to understand the basics on this.

this mod requires some other mods to function properly (namely Zap8, SKSE, and FNIS). And these mods do have some prerequisites of their own.

Oh, it seems very difficult to me... can i ask you or someone to tell me from point to point? I'd even donate for you since i really like your ideas.

And another question... what if Skyrim SE isn't original? Can it cause problems?

Honestly, there are more tutorials on this than you could watch in a lifetime, so i strongly recommend a google search.

But to be quick: get yourself a mod organizer (mo2 or vortex), install SKSE, install SkyUI, install XP32MaximumSkeletonExtended, install Fnis, Install Zap8, install my mod, RUN FNIS for users, Done.

i might have forgotten something. but most of these mods are available on nexus and they will tell you what other prerequisites they have.

 

As for using pirated versions:

if you now what you are doing, it doesn't make a difference. But i have no idea how vortex or the other mods behave with this.

So, if you encounter problems related to that, you have to figure it out for yourself. i wont give support for that.

Hi, it's my very first time modding and i don't know if i failed something... I just saw your mod and downloaded it, have FNIS open and Mo open and everything added and even ingame it's enabled, but i don't know how to find the gallows. You wrote that it's in GallowsLanding but when i teleport there with COC there is nothing there... did i do something wrong?

Make sure you have the ZAP 8 animation pack installed. That mod is a hard requirement.

Well, i downloaded the zap 8 pack i found here but what to do with it? Put the esp file into data folder, but what about Caliente tools, Docs, Interface, Meshes, Scripts, Sound, Textures folders? Should i put them into the data folder too?

Oh and...

MO said that i have a plugin 43 with zaz and the gallows file... i saw at some posts that it can be a problem and someone said that changing the plugin43 scanner from true to false can solve it. But i don't know, nothing changed.

And one more... if somehow i will ever be able to fix everything, where can i exactly find the gallows ingame? :D Because when i teleport with cc to whiterun, i found myself near the bridge, by the river. This is the point where i should find them?

Install the entirety of ZAP. The only thing this mod does is alter the already existing gallows from ZAP and add one in front Chillfurrow farm. As for the plugin 43 thing,I did some searching and it sounds as if you're trying to use this mod for SSE. Make sure to download the SSE versions of both this mod and ZAP.

Thank you, now there is progression :D I can see one gallow near the road an another one with like in the picture. The problem now is that there is no rope on that and when i bring here a follower there is no option for it to use the gallows... did i miss some file somehow?

Woops. I forgot that this mod requires ZAP and Heretical Resources. The latter should have the model for the rope in it.

 

Edit:Just to cover all bases,make sure to download and install Heretical Resources and reinstall this mod afterwards to make sure it overwrites the other two mods. Then run FNIS. That should hopefully fix it up for ya.

Oh... and if i download it, i should just drop it into data folder as well? Or does it require any other mods and accessories? Now what i read about this heretical resources what i found (11-03-2017) 1.51) it seems more difficult than any other things i did :D

Make sure to install the mods heretical resources says are required. And just drag and drop the mods into your data folder. And HR is mostly a modder's resource. You really only need it for the rope model.

Well, there is a rope now, but still nothing works... i installed heretical resources (11-03-2017) and it required zaz animation pack whic i had, devious devices assets, bodyslide 3.7.5 +

But still don't work. The leaver does nothing, when i click on E nothing happens. I can't give any command to follover what is related to gallow.

But now i see that ZAZ animation pack need something else...

Im really confused. So nothing is enough on its own? When you say use ZAP it means that i should download all of these with it? And, when i click on zaz animation pack, there is 3 files what i can download, any of them is okay, or i need all? Sorry for asking over and over...

So there are 2 gallows, with rope, and here i am with the follower.

I can open the trapdoor is i activate it, and i can roll the wheel, but when i click on the rope or gallow with E the follower says "okay" but than it doesnt do anything with it.

I'm not entirely sure if you understand the concept of a mod organizer, but you are supposed to install mods WITH said mod organizer. You are NOT supposed to drop anything manually in your data folder. This will only cause errors if you lack experience.

(small Tip: from my experience, Vortex is a bit more beginner-friendly than MO. so i strongly recommend you get yourself a clean install and build it from anew using Vortex)

 

About FNIS:

FNIS is not really a mod. Its a TOOL to for implementing animations into your game. whenever you install a regular mod that comes with animations (mine for example), you need to RUN the "GenerateFNISforUsers.exe" that comes with that mod

You don't need Heretical Resources. the rope is included in my mod.

Thank you! I will start this whole thing again, and maybe i will succeed :D Yep, im not really good at modding... many people offered MO and said its totally okay, but than i wont drop anything into data folder. I see that you told someone what to do so i will try with that next day.

I did everything as far as i know but i just cant found any files called "ZAP8" through the intert. There is only ZAZ, and when i found ZAP8 its strange:

Eh, since something went wrong i'll just reinstally skyrim and this time i'll use the vortex. Just a question...

Steam is in D/ program files(86) folder

 

At some pages i read that this can be a problem, is that true?

Hi, after a lot suffering i think i did someting now :D I have FNIS Data, FNIS, SKYUI, RaceMenu and XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended, all enabled and installed in vortex. These are the things you said, but now i have a problem because i still don't know what to do with that 2 ZAP8 files i commented below... they are not from nexus mod so i can't simply add them with vortex, so now i have no idea how to keep going. This ZAP8 thing is the last i need for your mod, following your instructions... what should i do now?

Paste the files into the DATA folder, it's that easy ?  Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data

Oh, okay, but when it comes to ZAP8, there are 2 options i can choose and i dont know which one should i download...

 

Also, when i download them, which files should i put into DATA? And can i see them in the vortex after i did this?
