Sorry if this question has been answered before, but is the guide updated to work on the newest patch of the NG update? After reading, I could pick up that Buffout was the mod that made or broke AFF, but going to their install page, it says that it's "partially working" right now. Can I just go ahead and follow the guide while using the god awful NG update? I just want to play a simple AFF without much extra stuff.

You may want to get a Fusion Girl body rather than CBBE or 3BBB, as I've heard FG is better for animations.  CBBE has more clothing, though, and is more common.  However, That Other Website With Mods just had a bunch of FG outfits/conversions drop.

 

For your scenario, Problems Of Survivor was done by the same person as Skyrim's Troubles Of Heroine, and was updated on March 9th this year. (I haven't played this)

I also haven't played the new MSMA Sexual Journey which might be useful for your play style.

 

Devious Devices is also here, much like in Skyrim; get the Release Candidate (RC) 9 Beta 2 version as it's (I think) the latest.  Caution: there's a dead body outside Sanctuary Hills that, if you take the wrong item from their inventory, WILL 'give' you (lock on your body) lots of DD right there, and the only source of keys (besides cheating) is about on the other side of the map, which is a VERY long slow walk.  Consider getting DD Armorbench Unlocker which will allow you to use Armor workbenches to try to get out of the DDevices without dying nearly as much as you would on the long trip.

Another caution: DD in Fallout 4 is just as hazardous to experiment with as DD in Skyrim.  Check the MCM settings CAREFULLY, and make an extra save before you put anything on, as you might not be able to get out of it.

Kziitd Fetish Toolkit is similar, newer, less supported/required, and SEEMS to coexist peacefully with DD.

 

If you're into that kind of trouble, Milking Human Kindness starts right outside and eventually gives you immune-to-radiation-while-naked, a considerable buff.

 

AAF Nuka Ride starts early also (haven't played this either) and has an option for a younger, non-mother protagonist.  As I understand it, though, it kind of 'takes over' the game, making it hard to go back to the main storyline.

 

Sex Education, Sex Attributes Framework, Hardship Beggar Whore, Sex 'Em Up and Violate all work well together (for me), and rescuing Commonwealth Captives is the usual way I recruit settlers. I used to use Sexual Harassment too - and it worked as intended, with the other mods in this paragraph - but I got tired of some of my settlers getting fresh with me after I'd just melee'd a deathclaw.

 

From That Other Website With Mods, Hookers Of The Commonwealth (Settlement Edition) gives you a immersive reason to build settlements; you could rise from your lowly and wretched beginnings to become Pimp Queen Of The Commonwealth at level 60 or something - which, with Sex Education and the rest, you could almost reach without picking up a weapon.

 

Thuggysmurf is rather polarizing, but his suite of larger mods - Fusion City, Depravity, Outcasts & Remnants, Project Valkryie, and Diary Of A Madman - are relatively well-written from a technical sense; they could make sense for a playthrough of the sort you seem to be wanting.  They are also kind of ... twelve-year-old-being-sexually-crude-and-thinking-he's-so-badass, which gets tiresome; and his quests are very railroady "Here's exactly what I [an NPC] need you to do but I won't do it myself even though I'm a[n immortal because Essential] badass".  *rolls eyes*  "Yeah yeah, if you're such a badass why didn't you do all this yourself before I got here?"  If you get Fusion City, I think you should also get the full Hookers (and subways) Of The Commonwealth which allows fast travel between several places for just a few caps... which you can make yourself in the subway station, wink wink nudge nudge say no more eh?

AAF Violate is a must, also consider a new mod MSMA which is new and still in construction but it is really fun to play.   Little Pawn is a great mod and spices things up in Good Neighbor.

Starfield doesn't even need one. There's almost no adult mods for it. We don't even have BodySlide & Outfit Studio as far as I know and if you play a male character you've got like 1 adult mod to work with that'll play approximately 2 animations or so. Lol, modded Starfield all last week, ended up so disappointed with the entire state of the Starfield modding scene that I came back here to Fallout.

Just clarifying my last post, above: I used it because fallout 4 high heels mod requires it.

If you install that mod, you must not install the "knee fix" mod (which I linked to above, ending in 39006) because the high heels mod's page specifically says not to do this:

 

if you are reading this thread, you need Zaz, and you're almost certainly going to be using high heels, so that skeletal adjustments mod must not ever be installed.

The boot loop is DRM as an obstacle for NAF who has stolen my work (and any mods that facilitate that). It's not ideal that such measures are needed. But, blame the thieves who continue to hide behind anonymity on the internet. If they didn't do anything illegal, they should not be so scared of taking the matter to court, right? Logic 101. Common sense. Cheerio box simple to understand.

 

I've seen no evidence that the boot loop corrupts any saves. How exactly would it alter the save if nothing is over-written or saved again during the bootloop?

Wabbajacks are where things heading. AAF no longer useable for one-click modlists, too gated and too risky. Have seen almost a dozen new FO4 Wabbajack in last few months, amazing builds. Have always enjoyed dagobaking's AAF framework, shame this disagreement knee-capped FO4. A new version of NAF incoming, complete rewrite, able to create animations in-game. Import animation from common formats. Definitely a  lesson in collaborative success vs gated failure. Success builds on success, failure begets failure.

First, blame Nexus and their bullshit policies of "anything you upload here, I own and is mine now". It's the very reason so many moved away from Nexus.

 

Second and as far as AAF v NAF goes, the gates were always open for collaboration on Dago's side, and it was NAF who decided to straight up ride off AAF's work without permissions or anything. 🤏

Definitely a lesson in collaborative success, versus an egotistical parlor approach.

'Cause AAF definitely is the collaborative work of not only Dagoba but EgoBallistic and others.

Meanwhile, NAF remains a stain of disrespect, thievery and taking advantage.
