You may need to accept the server policy by leaving a particular reaction on a pinned post in the rules channel before you'll be able to join and comment in any discussion channels.

Assuming you mean MO2 rather than MM2 (being precise will help you get more accurate answers, don't make people guess what you're trying to say).

The error you've quoted is usually an indicator that you don't have F4SE Plugin Preloader installed, or it's installed incorrectly, or you need to change the load method in its configuration file.

I don't know what this "mod names panel" is (caveat: I'm a Vortex user so maybe you mean in MO2), but if you're talking about game plugin files (ESL/ESM/ESP) then that's normal. Buffout 4 isn't a game plugin, it's an F4SE plugin (a DLL file).

only thing i'm seeing on discord is the ability to checkmark two posts, which i've done.  ah and i just now noticed there is a nuke cloud, which i clicked on and now i see more.

correct, it is MO2.
i'll check the F4SE Plugin Preloader configuration file, i think i installed it correctly.  thank you for the .

What you've said so far includes too little detail for anyone here to hope to give you good troubleshooting recommendations without asking you a lot more questions first.

As is recommended at the beginning of the manual, seek assistance in the help channels of the AAF Discord.

Ah sorry! My brain didn't register that part. Thank you tho! ❤️ Sorry for the trouble!

Hello! Could you please tell me is it ok to use RSE II: Combat Surrender and Abductions mod or should I skip all RSE mods?

Thanks!

That mod has long been abandoned by its author, who expressly forbade anyone from taking over and fixing it too, so the bugs which are present in it (and there are lots) will be there forever.

Do yourself a favor and just don't bother. There are an increasing number of other surrender and captive scenario mods which are still currently maintained and getting bug fixes and new features.

Will look for the similar modes, thank you!

And one more thing, OP noticed that you shouldn't check/enable LLFP option in Real Handcuffs:

Real Handcuffs (DO NOT check/enable the LLFP option in its installer)

I found out (in the hard way) that it is breaking animations and they doesn't work at all. Don't you mind to expand the description of the Real Handcuffs with this small detail? I guess that it will help others during troubleshooting.

Alternatively, just make sure AAF's version of the LLFP files overwrites any copies that may come from other mods (this doesn't just apply to RH, but any mod that includes a convenience copy of that library, for example RMR). If you're using Vortex, that means checking the little lightning bolt next to AAF (if you see one) and making sure AAF's files are being placed after files from any other mod.

I wonder what's the big idea of that lightning's bolt details, in which order they should be placed? Green pluses on top or red minuses on top? And what should I do if there are both plus and minus near bolt?

I'm not sure what "plusses" and "minuses" you're referring to. If the lightning bolt is red then you have some unresolved file conflicts you need to address, if it's green then the mod has file conflicts which have all been resolved by your ordering choices.

If you're talking about the list of mods you get when you click on the orange dependency tree icon next to the lightning bolt, those are the other mods that mod has file conflict relationships with, and the minus sign next to each one can be clicked to delete the ordering rule corresponding to that relationship. I've never seen a plus sign there.

If you're talking about inside the before/after/never together selection window you get by clicking on the lightning bolt, any drop-downs which are rendered in green are "locked" because their rules were defined on the other mod in that relationship (you can click the closed lock icon to the far right of it to break that relationship definition so it can be defined on the mod you're looking at in that window).

If you're talking about in the plugins view instead of the mods view, that's all about your plugin load order and really nothing at all to do with file conflict resolution, completely different topic.

I recommend looking through Vortex's extensive interface documentation in the knowledge base. I'm pretty sure it explains all of this and more, probably better than I could ever hope to do.

Actually, I'm using Mod Organizer 2 ?

Thanks a lot for your instructions, I'm sure that you explained well, everything seems clear for now!

No.

Every note is there for a reason. The more text I add, the less people read.

Pay attention to the notes and you will have no issues.

If anyone needs to access the guide before it got deleted, google "Loverslab manual", click the little 3 dots, and choose "Cached". It will bring you right back to the full manual before it got nerd-rage deleted.

Posted (edited)

It's sad and sour to burn everyone else not concerned with the issue by removing critical documentation, please reconsider.

Childish? I've done this for free, out of my own free time, for almost 4 fucking years.

Barely get a thank you. 80% barely fucking read it anyway.

Now go ahead and talk out of your asses, as per internet standards.
