Modifying the configuration file alone didn't fix it, but a reinstallation did get it running. Erections generally don't pose any problems. However, when I activate animations from AAF (using the Home key) and switch using the PageDown key, it occasionally doesn't function correctly. Is this a common issue? Erections created through LooksMenu morphs, which is the traditional solution for many AAF animations, see this sometimes as LooksMenu will occasionally fail to apply the requested morph. The underlying cause of the bug is not identified (as far as I know). I personally see it infrequently, and usually in scenes occurring outdoors. Indoor scenes almost never exhibit that problem for me. I don't use UAP, but I gather it has switched to an equipmentset solution, which equips a penis mesh on the actor appropriate to the given position rather than relying on erection morphs. (Edit: That might also be only for Atomic Muscle and not BodyTalk, I don't remember off the top of my head.) Edited July 18, 2023 by vaultbait
AAAA76 Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Which body type has better physics? Fusion Girl or CBBE?

"Three bone breast bounce" (3BBB) is integrated into modern versions of Fusion Girl, so any clothing conversions for FG will also support it natively. There is a somewhat recent 3BBB version of CBBE, but from what I understand there's still a fairly limited number of outfits converted to it (though I'm sure that will continue to increase over time). In addition to three CBP physics bones for each breast, Fusion Girl also has CBP physics bones for each buttock and front and back CBP physics bones for each thigh, I have no idea whether CBBE is similar in that regard. 1

Does Fusion Girl have the same mod compatibility as CBBE and how hard would it be to transition to Fusion Girl if you've been using CBBE this whole time?

These days yes, and if you're using sex mods (which I assume you are based on the topic you're posting in) it's probably easier than trying to use CBBE because it shares the same ZeX Skeleton that BodyTalk uses, so you don't have to mess around with making men and women use different skeletons. You would basically uninstall CBBE and any associated patches, install Fusion Girl and the ZeX Skeleton (and ZBG if you want LooksMenu/BodyGen support in game). Uninstall any CBBE conversions of outfits you're using and install FG conversions for them (there's a discussion topic which has been trying to catalog them all, though you may need to dig in recent pages there for updates that haven't made it into the top post yet). Then rebuild everything in BodySlide and you should be all set. 1

Other than keeping better track of what mods you install, and using BodySlide slidergoups to consistently organize the slidersets you have, not really no.

Alright, thanks for the help! I guess I'll just spend a few hours making sure I didn't break anything but by the sound of it, it sounds like it'll be worth it for the higher quality. Edit: One thing that I just found that helps with mod removal is checking the conflicts when you install Fusion Girl Edited July 19, 2023 by AAAA76

Sorry to bother you with another question but is this mod included in Fusion Girl/does Fusion Girl do something similar already?

FG doesn't include face presets, no (though neither does CBBE of course). It's hard for me to say for sure whether that one would work well since it has virtually no description. Skimming the list of included files it looks like it's mostly textures/materials/meshes, nothing BodySlide related, though there is a LooksMenu preset in there which may not work if it includes body morphs (if it's only face morphs then that's fine).

It includes the CBBE knee fix but I think I can fix that just by deleting the skeleton.nif file from the Cute Preset mod itself

You might also be able to solve it more easily by just telling your mod manager to overwrite that file with the one from the ZeX Skeleton mod.

Sorry to bother you again but my character body is completely messed up and I know for a fact it's because I messed up something on my end. Have you seen this before? I suspect it's something to do with collisions but I have the collision mods that the fusion girl page asks to download (OCBPC and the MTM presets). Edited July 19, 2023 by AAAA76

That looks more like you have something overwriting the skeleton (HKX or NIF) files. Double check what file conflicts your mod manager is reporting, and make sure the ZeX Skeleton and Fusion Girl body are winning all identified file conflicts. As far as collision spheres, that's probably not worth worrying about at this stage and you're likely better off starting with just OCBP for acceleration-based body physics. The OCBPC collision spheres can lead to some strange (and often hilarious) movement artifacts in some animations and so are a more experimental feature for now. 1

I think I found out what the issue was. I was trying to fix it on my own and checked my redundancies and found that the ZeX skeleton was considered redundant because it was deploying 0 files, along with other mods that I didn't realize this happened to. I re-installed all the mods until there were no redundancies left (checking Wrye Bash for issues along the way ofc) and am launching the game rn. I'll quote you if that turns out to have been the case and it's fixed or if it's still broken. Edited July 19, 2023 by AAAA76

Yep, turns out it was because the ZeX skeleton had somehow turned redundant. I have no clue how it happened but I'm glad it's fixed with a simple re-install. Only issue I still have is my hand textures look a little funky and Azar's ponytails don't show up but that's the least of my concerns atm. Edited July 19, 2023 by AAAA76

Sorry about quoting you again but I've run into a new problem where the animations just don't work. The two actors stand still in their idle animations in the same spot until the scene ends. There's probably a simple fix that I'm missing but I can't think of anything that would cause that to happen atm. I did some testing and the tentacles from Sanity Framework had no issues but when I tried the first scene with Murphy in CS, that's when the problem appeared. I think I found what mod might be the issue but I'm wondering if there's anything I need to keep in mind when fixing this. Edited July 20, 2023 by AAAA76

You might have more luck asking in the support topic for Commonwealth Slavers, but I get the impression both it and Nuka Ride may have slightly different (newer) version requirements for Savage Cabbage's animation pack than this manual recommends (the author prefers to trigger very specific animations for most scenes).

Both of them say they need the latest Savage Cabbage which I have. It's also happening to non-Savage Cabbage animations as well. Edit: It looks like the rimjob animations and the tentacle ones are the only ones that work. I've also got some error logs from the AAF menu. AAFLog.0.log Papyrus.0.log Edited July 20, 2023 by AAAA76

jrock317 Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 Hi Saya thank you for this wonderful guide. I'm a bit confused on the install v load order. Are you saying that the picture showing left pane install order should also be the load order in the right pane? Also when I select options when installing UAP where do those go in load order? Such as loincloth, rottweiler etc...

It's the Left side that you need to exactly follow the mod load order screen shot because that deals with file overwrites. 1

No one should ever use it unless you are only installing this list and nothing else. Thanks tho I'll figure it out

Thanks tho I'll figure it out The sort button uses LOOT to determine the proper plugin sorting with ESM > ESL > ESP. It's not 100% perfect but it should be fine for most people. If your plugins are not properly sorted, starting with hitting Sort in MO2, then AAF isn't going to run for you.
