You haven't provided enough context for us to guess which mod you're talking about. Did you maybe quote the wrong old post?

sorry! it was basically every manual mod i tried but i managed to figure out how to use vortex with them. I just didn't realize how until now. Sorry about that!

I have a question, is there a way to reduce the range when moving the scene? Like up and down left right etc. , cuz now when I want to move the scene like up, the moving range is to big and I cant finetune the scene. Also the speed that the free camera is moving.

Free camera speed can be edited in data/aaf/aaf_settings

For some reason the deathclaw penis (at least the one in concord that I know of so far) is purple so missing textures. Everything else seems fine just the deathclaw so far. Was there a file specifically for this that I missed? Any of the mods that asked what creatures in-game I wanted support for I checked the box because I don't want to nit pick which ones I want (causes too many problems down the road).

Aside from that I'm not really familiar with how the sex animations work for fallout 4 (only ever did this with skyrim) but are the animations suppose to be say 30 seconds and no transition? Like when a fourplay animation starts it'll and once the fourplay is done that's it back to adventuring.

Creature Resources should provide that, or I think UAP includes the assets if you're using that instead.

In short, yes. You can alter the default animation duration in the AAF config file, and also mods can choose their own animation duration or even expose options to allow you to adjust it.

As for transitions, stages, looping, et cetera, this is all dependent on the XML files for the animations you're using. Some may come with staged animations, or you may use patches which replace individual animations with staged sequences.

Edit: Also, friendly reminder that this manual states in very bold text to ask questions on the AAF Discord instead, and to NOT expect support here on LL.

Thanks is that discord actually active? This last week I've been to different discord servers for fallout 4 modding and seems the average for even small issues takes hours to respond out 50-1,500+ users on. By small I mean something like a yes or no question.

1st at all, a big thx to Saya Scarlett for this topic which helps me a lot; may your name be blessed.

2nd, English isn't my native language, i apologize for all wrong sentence or word, etc.

I have 2 questions:

1. Once followed the steps, the default moans don't suit me. To hear "yes", "oh my god", etc. reminds me like i hear a bad porno movie where actress are in a bad simulate. If you have some interesting sound alernative, i'd be glad to try (didn't heard any difference with NSFW Sound Pack)

2. I play a male character in heterosexual perspective. I've tried Violate + Sex'Em Up + Sex Attributes Framework but i'm not sure it's the best game integration combination in a RPG perspective.

Have you any advice/recommandation? I've tried a long time ago (well, not so long) MCG but my game freezed some times.

Anyway, for all of you, keep on goin'.

Thanks for the manual. I couldn't make it work on a new installation of the game at first attempt though (can't trigger any sex scene) and keep receiving a list of warnings/errors from AAF (the screenshot bellow).

Spoiler

ScreenShot1.png.2c8358d0028b773a26ae1d7d8307474b.png

Well, I also didn't follow the guide quite to the letter, and I probably messed up my entire mods setup, trying to make physics work (that part always been kinda of a gray area and a pain in the but for me while mud wrestling with Skyrim).

Has anyone tried to start from scratch with The Midnight Ride and then add some of the sexy stuff from this guide? I hear the former is known for its stability. Perhaps that's a safer approach for a newbie?!

That seems to be an issue with mostly 50 Shades Mod. Either not installed correct or a load order issue..

Okay, thanks for that. I did reinstall it, as the framework itself, and finally managed to trigger some animations. There are still issues (and probably more yet to be discovered), but at least I've made some progress.

Hi Incubusbul,

I am no expert... but I do have a stable and AAF issue-free mod list! I tend to use (and try out) a lot of different mods etc and have a dedicated backup of all Fallout4 mods used and their load order for each time I come back to the game. I have not used The Midnight Ride "guide" but this one [https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23556] which works really well for me... I only use STEP 0 (have used STEP 1 in the past too, but the rest is down to inidividual choice). Am currently re-installing the game (again) and putting everything onto an SSD for (finger's crossed) much faster loading times.

Currently I follow BiRaitBec's STEP 0, load all other non-sexual mods (including LooksMenu and associated stuff, MCM, BodyTalk, CBBE, OUTCASTS/REMNANTS, DEPRAVITY, PROJECT VALKYRIE... Endless Warfare, various Companion Replacers, True Storms, Vivid Fallout, Darker Nights, and a LOT of weapons, armour, clothes, textures and general looks mods), and FINALLY I install AAF+Kinky+Animations+Devices etc+AAF Sex Em Up+AAF Sexual Harassment+Hardship etc using this guide. TO THE LETTER!

Some tips/experiences I'd like to share:

- follow this (AAF) guide to the letter... then double and triple check that you haven't missed anything!

- EXCEPTION to the above... I tried out the FO4 High Heals System and followed the [see Basic Requirements #5 notes] to the letter, EXCEPT I did use the LEGS FOR DAYS version AND disabled (or didn't select) all robot/synth animation options, and it worked like a dream. FYI, I don't generally use this mod now, but I did test it... only on humans and ghouls.

- Occasionally, and expecially when I add mods during a playthrough, I see the dreaded lack-of-erection issue, but I simply re-install all AAF associated mods and that solves the problem.

- I use a height adjustment mod to make my female protagonist shorter. FOV Slider and Player Height [https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/36768]. I generally set the height to 0.93-0.95 and have found that ALIGNMENT is still better when NOT SELECTING the ACTOR SCALING Options in Animation mods such as BPs etc.

- I always have ZEX at the bottom of my MO2 list (highest priority)... UAP is just above.

- I have tried to use Female and Male characters at the same time using the same mod list but I always run into problems with body morphs etc so nowadays I only play females (if anyone could help me out here, I would be eternally grateful!)

- One deviation from BiRaitBec's Step 0... in section 3 (BRB ENB) it advises to set VideoMemorySize to one of the given values... I have read up more on this and now opt out... I have 16GB RAM + 6GB VRAM and the guide recommends me to set VideoMemorySizeMb=15000 but I used [http://enbdev.com/download_vramsizetest.htm] and subsequently reduced this value accordingly. Having said this, the STEP 0 value caused me no issues as far as I could tell.

Good luck!

INSTALLATION GUIDE ERROR?

Basic Requirements #7 (Buffout 4)

Just re-installed game and mods and tools onto my SSD. Found a potential error in this guide.

Basic Requirements #7 (Buffout 4) states "[And requirements: Address Library (Install in mod manager), xSE Preloader and TBB from Buffout's downloads (Install these two MANUALLY) ] (Proper Buffout 4 installation instructions below)"

BUFFOUT 4 NEXUS homepage provides link [https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/articles/3115] for installation and these instructions state "V. Address Library for F4SE Plugins | Provides version independent resources required to run several important mods, such as Buffout 4.
Installation: Manually download the main file and place its version-1-10-163-0.bin file into the Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins folder."

MO2 installation of Address Library was not placing bin file in Plugins folder.

Cheers.

BiRaitBec's is quite out of date by this point, and they've stopped updating the guide. As such, some of the community continued the mod-list work in a Discord Server ("Collective Modding", should be a link around somewhere).

There is no 'error', in those instructions.
'We' (Moderators) have been helping people get Buffout 4 installed properly for many months now.

There is no reason to manually install the Address Library.
The only 'manually installed' files (not mods), should be xSE Plugin Preloader, F4SE itself (not strictly necessary either, but the 'safe bet'), and the TBB Redist (`tbbmalloc.dll`) which is required for Buffout 4 as well.

So I have a few issues.

First there are no cum overlays getting added,

Second in each scene there is no orgasm.

The animation runs and just ends abruptly. Is this normal ? if not any idea for a fix. ?

LL threads are an atrocious way to provide troubleshooting support, although some users like @vaultbait try to do a bit here and there (and Vaultbait is one of the few I'd consider "trustworthy"/providing sound advice, from what I've seen).

We don't link it for our own health (quite the bloody opposite, with some of the users we've had).
We're not all around 24/7, and have our own lives, but we're often in there volunteering our time/sanity to try and help people get their shit sorted, and there are a handful of other, more 'competent' users as well, who are often on, if none of us 'Moderators' are around at the time.
