He's mentioned it before:" When it's done, it's done". I have put FO4 away till IVY is released. Even then I'll likely wait a bit after the new voice actress version is out although I doubt there would be anything that needs fixes serious enough to warrant another 'new game start'.

 

I figured this would possibly/probably be my last play through of FO4 and all the DLC - so this is why I can patiently wait. I'll take plenty of time - visit every location (again) - do every quest with only one decision - which faction to choose. Taking time off has been good as when one starts to get over 1000 hours in any game, it can get somewhat stale. Skyrim is still my biggest offender at close to 2500 hours, but FO4 was slowly closing the gap.

 

Having Ivy along will make one more journey worth it as she has in the past.

"My last playthrough", I've said that myself a couple of times, but Skyrim and Fallout 4 manage to draw me back all the time  .

Trust me, I want to go play them again, but usually I get the game running, and then I sit there trying to decided what to do. Nothing is new, and since I've done most everything within reason, I usually quit after doing the tourist thing for a few minutes. My last play time of note for FO4 was Mar 2020. I did boot the game up back in December, but as mentioned above, didn't play as much as looked around before closing it.

 

With Ivy having major reworks of her Combat, Dialogue, Quests, and what I really wanted to wait for - the addition of the DLC locations Far Harbor and Nuka World to her comment database in addition to the new voice actress since the last time I started a New Game - This is why I've waited and keep the game and all the files on my drive taking up space. I have so many other games calling my name - but IVY is the reason I keep FO4 around for now.

 

Will I play it again in a year or two? I'd like to think I would but trying that with FONV, and other titles like Oblivion so I could play the Shivering Isles once again never gets my time, while I go through the Assassin's Creeds, Red Dead Redemptions, Horizon Zero Dawns, Subnauticas, FarCrys - on and on and on . . . . .  My eyes are definitely bigger than my stomach when I look at what's on my plate.

Since I have that on disk, I know of no way to deem how much time I have put into that game, but it's a lot. I MAY install Skyrim again as FONV looks dated now and I uninstalled that a few months ago,,

There is the Fallout 4 New Vegas mod that is getting close to release, that's how I plan to replay NV.

I am looking forward to that,, and just think,, if Ivy was made to go through that to,, wow,, that WOULD be amazing,, doing Both as you move from one to the other then back again.

I'm getting this weird corrupted texture when I make Ivy wear Mercy's Dress

So far this has happened when inside custom cells like Rockin Red Rocket and somehow also inside Ivy's cellar, when I'm far away from Ivy and I look at her the dress is fine but when I walk towards her the dress starts getting the corrupted textures (From pixelated purple cubes to just purple textures.)

That's actually an issue in Version 5. Reg made a patch for it I think.

5.3 should not have that issue, unless maybe something 'lingered' from previous versions? Try reinstalling the binaries for the mod. Perhaps it got glitched.

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but by reinstalling binaries means that I just "reinstall the mod" right?

I had the same issue, I made a copy of the quest textures BA2, unpacked it, and installed the dress texture loose, fixed it right up

Okay Tried reinstalling her and the problem now happens in the open world of commonwealth  tried to move her around my load order but didn't really mess with her plugins since it's an esm so I kept that up top with my other esm mods. in the mean time I'll let her wear her synth dress which is pretty cool anyway

I'd also like to say thankyou verymuch for making such an amazing companion mod that is more than what she is (a sex robot.) A very bad ass companion that imo is really fleshed out even more bethesda's. Thankyou for the hardwork and I'm looking forward to update 6.0

Perhaps you could provide me with the steps if you have the time? sorry I'm not very knowledgeable messing around with BA2 textures and what to even do. but if you could explain to me like i'm 5 that'd be cool

Is it confirmed that patch 5.1 for Morning sex whith lovers do work whit this version of Ivy, My self dont think so, since I have serius issues whit it.

The morning sceenes dont stop at all. They do contiue until I force them to stop.

They work for me and stop as intended. There are two of them out there. The one I used is MSWL_CompanionIvy.
