ustio Posted December 5, 2019 Posted December 5, 2019 had the same problem i fixed it by reinstalling SLAL and installed Jcontainers SE from nexuslab hope that helps
Bloodshed2031 Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 I'm having this problem as well. Though i've tried to reinstall both slal and jcontainers. It's still not working.
anjenthedog Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 make sure to install animation packs only after SLAL has been installed so the MCM recognizes them as being installed. Further, be warned that SLAL takes a perceptible amount of time to populate its entries, so depending on how many animation packs you have installed, it could take up to 10-20 seconds to load the submenus

It's kinda funny though how short a time it really is. Although I now simply perform the wait mindlessly, 10-20 seconds while waiting for a menu seemed like an eternity to me when I first started using SLAL. (couple other MCMs display a similar "laggy" load process, but whatever.)

And if you run it on a hdd (like me) or a SSD(if your lucky). it can also affect loading times.

I use an SSD. 10-20 sec, so yes, I suppose it could take even longer if you're using a traditional hard drive. Hadn't considered that.
Grey Cloud Posted August 14, 2021 Posted August 14, 2021 The MCM delay must be an SE thing. I've never noticed it through several machines and upgrades on LE. ?
asjflask Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 Sometimes you have to Escape out of the menu and go back into it to get it to load as well. There is a bug that prevents it from loading from time to time.

There is a bug that prevents it from loading from time to time. that seems to affect all MCMs somewhat equally when you make certain changes within a variety of MCMs (not just this one). You have to exit the menu system for the change to go into effect before you can do any further MCM config changes. Not exactly sure why but presumably because whatever was changed was a "fundamental" that requires the game to re-analyze the MCM contents.
