Given that they have different pages, and are different mods... no they are not the same thing, lol. I ask because some mods use TSEX specifically, and those functions won't work with regular Hardship.

The TSEX page has it's own version of Hardship which like TSEX is an unfinished mod.  It basically would have been Hardship 1.6.

 

THIS version (1.5x) is not compatible with TSEX and lacks the TSEX version of hardship's features but is more compatible with newer versions of AAF because it uses more custom animation xmls and is generally more polished than the TSEX compatible version.

 

If you wanna use TSEX then use that version of Hardship from the TSEX page. It mostly works, it's just the end of animations often bug out due to newer versions of AAF hijacking staging control. (IE: AAF decides that the male cums 10 seconds before Hardship does and ends the animation long before the dialogue popups end... It also affects regular hardship just to a lesser extent. I absolutely hate that shit.)

 

The only other major issue with it is that the after sex dialogue that Required added can be a bit awkward and unfitting at times.

 

Just know that you will need a new save, as saves aren't compatible between the two versions.

i have a problem i installed the mod it shows up in the mcm but, when i select something or trying to select a hotkey or turining it on it instantly deselects my hotkey and when i close the mcm and open it again all the changes have been turned off like everytime i try to change something it just resets

"Generally" that points to a missing master, or you have Real Handcuffs loading after Hardship.

so apparently it was the real handcuffs dd compatibility esp that was causing the problem i turned it off and now works great

If you ticked the RHDD patch on but moved it above hardship in the plugin load order it would probably work as well. It causes the same issue as the real handcuffs esp because it overwrites that esp's data basically becoming a copy of it, with minor changes. (how compatibility plugins work)

If you don't have your weapon drawn your companions should already be? Maybe you need to add them to the vanilla companion faction? Gonna be honest in all the years I worked on this I don't think I ever thought to test it with mod companions... (Well... other than my mercs and the pimps from this mod) I only grudgingly added dialogue to accomodate the vanilla ones. (Though I had fun with it eventually). This mod was always more geared to a solo adventure. Why would one resort to begging and survival prostituttion when they have heavily armed support? :)  

 

You can probably add them to the white flag faction (From this mod) with the console or CK if all else fails. Don't ask me how though... I barely remember anything about how modding Fallout 4 works after so many years away from it.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but I was having a look around the settings menu and I noticed 'raider captive dialogue'. How does this work exactly, and what does it do?

It's a depricated feature meant to work with another person's abandoned mod. It would have been removed if Hardship had continued development (And in fact is removed from the TSEX version... IIRC) So yeah leave it off... same basically goes for the aggressive player dialogue (Don't remember what it was called) In that one's case it was just always half baked.

@Tentacus, I just came across your mod, I like it, I just recently returned to FO4 and saw that this mod recomends some way to stash or store caps so you don't lose everythinjg.  I had made and puslished a mod years ago that did that in case you are interested in adding it to the list of suggested mods.  
The Cap Stack at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community
You use a chem bench to bundle caps into different size amounts that can be stored/traded/dropped what ever you want and when you need it, you go back to the chem bench and remove the wrapper you made.  I had marked all of my mods "hidden" in 2020 when I was fully switched over to Skyrim, so I made this one visible again.  Thank you for your mods and hard work.

hello how many animation was it supposed to play after accepting to be a prostitute? i think i might have did something wrong bc after one animation, the two characters just stood there waiting for the next dialogue. or that was supposed to happen?

Works ok for me. Animation starts, and you steer it a bit with your answers in the dialog boxes

 

I've just set up the mods according to the "fucking manual"

She's from the mod that equipped her with those damn devices (Devious Device), she will also appear invisible most of the time if you have bodygen enabled.

ahh ok thx yall. so i just need to meet kimy and buy the keys from her? its quite expensive tho 500 caps for 1 key lol
