I installed all as Tentacus said on his Mod, but when i activate the BW Mod, Clients follow, but there comes no Sex Scene and if i talk again to the Client comes only that dumb "I only want to change a few Things" Now and than appear some Texture Based Activitys what happens and nothing else, no real Sex Scene no Animation, they only stand around. Yea i installed all Animations, they are Required, so why they stand only dumb? TYSM

What should happen after successfully getting a client is that you talk to them again and they will say "Here is fine" and the event progresses. Make sure you have all subtitles enabled in Fallout 4 settings. 1

Is the client a settler? Just wondering if you've got some sort of follower inventory access mod overriding the dialogue priority for Hardship. 1
SamanthaTraynor Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 Yea the Client was a Settler, but he did come to me and talked, all was normal, the Dialogue showed up/Text, i accepted Sex for a Cigarette as Example, he said ok, but nothing went on, they stand there and that was it. I installed exact ALL Tentacus wrote on his Page with the Mod/File. AAF works fine, i see it when i am in Game, as i started my Game, i got the Message AAF installed and works. One Time with another Settler a Sex Animation came, than i get Money and all was okay. Yea that Settler Guy too said Here is fine, but Nothing happened and i think i can go with him where i want or? Tysm

Tysm This came up lately, and in that case Reinstalling Hardship fixed it. If you installed in the wrong order Hardship may not have installed all the appropriate XMLs., as Hardship has to detect that you have the animation packs installed to add it's own. 1

I am not new to modding by any means, but I have never delved into the sex mod scene beyond nude body replacers. Between your guide and Saya Scarlet's I was able to get this working fairly easily. I do have one question I haven't been able to find anywhere else though. Are yours and other mods like these compatible with larger mods like Sim Settlements 2? One of my main concerns is that the Gunners and the main enemy in that mod and I don't know if there would be conflicts. It is also a very script heavy mod and I wasn't sure how that would play with hardship and all the other animations and stuff. One last kinda noobish question I guess would be what order to install the sex mods versus my normal kinda mods (weapons, armors, alternate starts etc. etc.) Thank you for your time. I'm very glad to have joined you crazy degenerates lol

AAF-using mods aren't all that different from other mods, and whether they use AAF is fairly irrelevant to your load order. AAF itself relies on XML files to define animation scenes, locations, transitions, equipment handling and so on, therefore doesn't generally depend on plugins. The other features of these mods (whether they add or change things in worldspace/cells, what masters their own plugins declare, and so on) is what will determine the load order for them, and for that you're going to have to rely on clues in the mod descriptions or sorting algorithms integrated into your mod manager, just like for other sorts of mods. 1

Thank you for your quick reply! I would also assume that as long as I'm not in beggar whore mode that Sim Settlement quests should play out normally with the gunners like vanilla quests?

I'll let someone who actually uses SS confirm that, but for the most part if you toggle BH mode to disabled in Hardship, vanilla gunners and raiders will be hostile as usual anyway.

This. As SS2 user (though I think it's the same story with original SS) I can confirm that BW works with no conflicts (at least I haven't experienced any when using both mods). The only complaint is that you'll have to constantly enable/disable the BW mode (either via holotape or set up MCM hotkey for it), but other than that both mods are perfectly functional and work pretty well together. I have decided to leave modding for the most part and explore other creative avenues that are less reliant on keeping up with a community meta, and the whims of Bethesda. I might pop up and release a small mod here or there, if I make something for my own amusement, but nothing on the scale of Hardship, which has eaten up years of my life. Not that I am complaining, I am very happy with the reception of Hardship and of what I have accomplished... (With the tremendous help of @requiredname65, and others who have pitched in along the way) I am just sorry I wasn't able to bring all my ideas to full fruition for you. It's my strong hope that someone will continue it whether it is requiredname65 or someone else, and eventually make the bloated mess into something better. You've all been great and it has been fun (usually.) I hope that those of you brave enough to give what is here a try enjoy it. I'm not completely done with modding yet. I can't assign any hotkeys to toggle it on-off (it saves the hotkey for a split second and then becomes unassigned again) and when I toggle manually in the mod config menu nothing happens and when I come back it's off again. No other settings can be saved either. Can anyone help?

Real Handcuffs 0.4.7 or above -- This is a true Master of Hardship and RealHandcuffs.esp must be above Beggar_Whore.esp in the plugin load order! NOTE: Read the instructions carefully. If you don't you might end up with an AAF conflict.

Spoiler Is it a mod conflict or load order issue...? i reinstalled hardship painstakingly following the instructions (the best i could ?) and "Nuka Ride" is running alongside it. So i uninstalled Nuka Ride, UAP, Leito animations SLP, Real handcuffs Strap-on V5... reinstalled everything in order (omitting UAP and Nuka Ride) but to no avail. after repeating the process two times ?, i had the brillant idea ? to compare AAF folder vs SLP's archive and guess what? for some obscure reason, Vortex didn't include any FF xmls during the installation process and i'm sure i checked everything in the FOMOD. In sum, manually adding those xmls to aaf folder fixed the error. I quickly tested four different animations (female raider/client with/without furniture) and they worked as intended. Thanks again Tentacus. Ugh... Vortex. Make sure you have the right Strap on model installed, but if you didn't you wouldn't be able to click on the XMLs for install. The installer was tested in Vortex but who knows a newer version may not work, as I only have Vortex installed for testing installers and do not keep it updated (Mod Organizer 4 Lyfe). 1
