But with this one....? you managed to create another 10/10 for both cute and sexy that fits the game aesthetic(like all your sims), no doll look, no model look, etc. I'll prob sound like a brown-noser, but man you ought to be the best when it comes to this. ? 5
mrrakkonn Posted November 13, 2020 Author Posted November 13, 2020 @labskyacc I've actually been doing some test runs and it seems like things are actually running smoothly enough on my end, as far as I can tell the mods I use have been updated as well. I'm still going to wait a bit to see if the upcoming pack (tomorrow right?) messes some more things up, and then I might be able to get back to it much quicker than I feared. Girl above is pretty much all but ready. I could have uploaed her last week or maybe even the week before but I never managed to get around to it. Sorry aobut that.

Were any of the custom traits/jobs you've used broken by the update?

Here's the girl asked about above and who's been kind of ready for a week or two, I just never got around to uploading her then, but I did now. I've kind of imagined Audrey as a teen adult model or camgirl type of deal, I think I scored a pretty good balance of sexy and cute with her, and I like how she looks in the simlish Pornhub top I found out I had downloaded long ago. For backstory she's from Evergreen Harbor, a world I only recently got from getting the Eco-Living pack, where she grew up with her grandparents in rather modest circumstances, her parents not being around. Never did well in school and kind of always wanted be somewhere else doing something else. I shared an earlier version of her with @Holly Vinedal who came up with some suggestions for her backstory and such, at this point she's probably got a more detailed characterization of her than I do ?and is also making a comic featuring her version of the sim that's coming up in December I'm pretty sure. As a side note, I kind of based her chest and leg band tattoos on an ad I saw on LL a while back, and later discovered that there actually is a pornstar who's got these tattoos, which is likely who that girl in the ad was supposed to be, so while Audrey's appearance (she's actually a repurposed and edited WIP sim who'd been sitting unused and unshowcased in my library for a long while) is not based on this girl, her tattoos kind of are in a roundabout sort of way ? A somewhat quick one, but one I've had kind of waiting, barebones, in the halls for a long time, decided to get to it and finish and upload him now that I'm able to. Like Cash Monet and Diva Roma, Goopy Gilscarbo is another sim I've made who falls into the category of "celebrity townie", and like them he's based on an older Maxis sim, this time an NPC from Sims 2 and beyond. I've been told he was one of the more popular Sims 2 NPCs and he's also been referenced in several other games, including having a dish named after him in Sims 3 (Goopy Carbonara) and a class that references that dish in Discover University. So what I've done is just gone and decided that this is qualifcation enough for him to be a celebrity in my world. I've put him up as a 3-star celebrity and put him down as self-employed, his celebrity perks are geared towards the influencer side of it, as that's kind of the rough backstory I've made up for him of him being kind of a social media celebrity who's schtick is to tinker with recipes, hence the pasta recipe in Sims 3. To support this he has pretty high cooking skill and though the Entrepreneurial trait doesn't help him as self-employed it still kind of makes sense with the characterization I'm going for with him. To reflect him having a romance aspiration in his appearances, I've given him that here as well, in addition to the romantic trait and the Great Kisser reward trait. It also seems that in Sims 3 there's a family where it's hinted at that the mother used to be married to Goopy Gilscarbo, but divorced him, so I thought that merited the Adulterer Wicked Attribute. All the broken CC annoys me but my game wouldn't start and I had to repair and update it. Anyway, who cares about broken windows as long as Becca is around?
