@florent303 One of the recent Basemental Drugs updates messed things up so all those traits have to be re-added for some reason. Only sims that have the ADHD trait are Felicia, Mazuiko Jackson and Dustin Broke as far as I can remember, the rest of the missing traits should all be the Clubber trait. I can see about re-uploading some of those sims that have been affected, if I find the time.

I'm probably going to still let her remain WIP for a while to make sure I'm happy with how she looks, so it's most likely going ot be a while before I upload this one, and I've got some other things I want to get around to as a priority. Getting back to working on my world for one.

I think I'm actually more or less happy with her (Mia's) face now, so might begin adding some more outfits and possibly making her family as well. 

 

      

 

Sill gonna be a little while until I finish and upload her though I think. Also probably gonna hold off a bit on new uploads for now until the issue with custom skintones and such is sorted out with this new patch (S4S will probably come with a batch fix for that), I've held off on updating and am waiting to see how things shake out.

 

I do have a couple of sims who are pretty near to completion though. One is a another sim based on a character from that Summertime game, Roxxy (Roxanne), who's last name I don't know. I actually pulled together a couple of WIP and unreleased sims to make her, and recently went for a different hairstyle than I was using, which I think is working out pretty well for her. She only really needs traits, skills and all that stuff to be completed, though I might do a last review of her warderobe to see if I want to make some changes there as well. 

 

      

 

Second sim is this girl, Allison, who's a long time WIP sim of mine, or rather at one point she was sort of finished but I never uploaded her, then I kind of threw her back in the WIP bin and slowly made small changes over time. Thinking I should actually get around to uploading her now. Warderobe and appearance is all done, need to decide on a last name and put down a backstory and characterization to decide on traits and such (which is in progress, I've kind of got an idea of how I see her).

I did have ago at starting her parents up as well. I don't really have any CC that's really that close to her mother's hair and outfit though. So I had to make do with some base game stuff that was kind of similar.

Allison Dufour

 

A sim I've had around for a long while actually, originally made and almost completed her back when Discover University came out and was about to release her as I decide I wanted to work more on her, something I went about very slowly. I have included her in some picture sets and other things I've posted, so some may have seen her before in some of her WIP iterations. Part of the reason I held off on her is that I thought she was perhaps a bit too much like Thalia Jordan, but I decided it's not that much of a trouble, especially as Thalia's characterization has sort of moved on from what it initially was over time, and in terms of coloration, clothing and face features the two are actually quite different. 

 

Allison is really a geeky girl, interested in video games, sci-fi and fantasy books and movies, she's quick and smart but can tend to get lost a bit in her own thoughts at times. She's insecure around others and about herself, and gets embarassed by attention even though a part of her very much would like to be noticed, especially by the guys on the college football team.

 

Due to the shape (and maxed out size) of her breasts and the cleavage slider I used for her, I've kind of imagined for a while that she's had breast enhancement, which is part of why I thought up her personality and backstory to emphasize a mixture of insecurity and attention-seeking which I thought fit together with that in her case, and is why she has the Insecure custom trait by Kuttoe (also the Egghead trait) as well as the Shallow Wicked Attribute which will make her very likely to accept to have sex with sims she finds to be Very Attractive or higher (I actually set her attractiveness preferences before I saved her, something I've largely forgotten to do for almost all of my sims, because for a long time I didn't know these preferences were saved and because it rarely enters into my "gameplay" of posed pictures and controlled scenarios).

Roxxy (from Summertime Saga)

 

 

Another sim based on a character from the game Summertime Saga, this time it's blond cheerleader, Roxxy, pictured above with my current WIP versions of her friends Missy and Becca, whom she enjoys ordering around, being a self-proclaimed "Alpha bitch".

 

Besides the info on the wiki I don't have that much to go on for her, she's a cheerleader, self-assured, mean and bossy and there seems to be some stuff about her trying to cover up that she actually comes from broken, povery stricken home, her and her mom living in a trailer park. That's something, but besides taht I don't even have a last name it seems like so I just randomly generated and chose a common one for her, so this sim version of her is techincally named "Roxanne Miller".

 

I put some skills on her similar to previous cheerleader sims I've made and I have her in the same UBrite cheerleader uniform, but exactly how (or if) I end up incorporating her into my world is still a bit up in the air at the moment. I gave her reasonably high charisma skill and also put some handiness and cooking skill on her, figuring that she'd probably have to have learned a bit self-sufficiency with her backstory. Traits are mean, athletic and materialistic with a leader of the pack aspiration, I also gave her the Cuckquean Wicked Attribute as supposedly that lines up pretty well with her storyline in the game. 

 

Her appearance is actually the result of me combining aspects of a couple of different WIP sims, mostly the edited face and body appearance of one of the WIP sims I showed off, and the clothes (other than those based directly off her outfit from the game) from some other sims. I think I ended up with a good result in the end here.

Well I can consider suggestions, or at least consider using them as references in the future, but I don't really do specific requests, except sometimes when I feel like it. I'm typically more interested in doing character concepts, and adapting sims I've made using references to those concepts.

Never heard of her before. I'll save this for potential later use, I definitely like the look of her. I can notice you if I ever make an initial version, It's unlikely that I'll make a straight up sim

version of her, as that's not how I go about things.

Black you mean. All in all I think the resemblance is coincidental in this case because of the short hair, in terms of face they're not that similar I think. Another coincidence is that some of the new tattoos I've done for Alexis are similar to this model's tattoos. 

 

      

 

An option would be to incorporate part of her facial features and tattoos into a sim I've got in WIP at the moment. Currently that would be this bleached-blonde stripper chick, Though I'm currently in a place where I'm happy enough with her that I think I might not make more changes to her face for now. Don't know. Anyway, in case I use her appearance to make a sim it will be something like that, to make the basis of a character who's appearance is based on her and not just a sim recreation. I

 

 

Here's some closeups of that sim, with her normal makeup, without makeup and without makeup and with what I imagine her natural hair color would be. I could see her looking good if I edited her face to look more like Giorgia Soleri, but as I mentioned I'm already pretty happy with this girl, so it would be kind of of like throwing away something that already works. 

 

      

 

EDIT: By the way , though pictures like the first one you posted are good for getting my attention to a potential person/picture to use as a sim reference, I would also always try to find a picture like this if you want me to make something, as these types of shots are what give you a good sense of what someone's facial features look like and can be used as a reference to get them as close as possible. 

 

 

EDIT2: Also, in addition to shots like the above profile shots like the one below are also helpful, because otherwise it's really hard to get a person's nose and chin done right.

I felt like giving it a quick shot. Can't quite get the eyes right (and I think they are ever so slightly too far apart and could possibly stand to be higher on the face as well), and I think using the upper lip tuck was a mistake, so mouth has to be redone. Hair was sort of the best I had available. Anyway, save for later, I'll either complete her or find a use for her down the road.

I still can't quite get the eyes right, but this is probably as good as I'm going to get her at this point, will probably come back to her later, though probably to use the appearance as the basis for a different sim. 

 

 

That said. If anyone wants to grab this sim as she is and use her in your game, I figured I could as well just upload her here to this post for those who want that. She only has one outfit (t-shirt and panties) and I just put on random minimum traits, I didin't bother trying to find tattoos that matched.

I was referring precisely to this. creating a sim identical and precise to its counterpart is not always the right path to take. you are a creator and being a creator means to create, not to be copied. congratulations nice job.

And the thing is, I can't stand tattoos. So to like her as much as I do, even with all the tats should indicate how much I like her.

 

I'm not sure why I dislike tats so much. And generally speaking I try to keep my opinion on this to myself. Their body, they can do what they want.
