That would be the best method

It's a very powerful tool too. All Mrrakkon Sims are copied by MCCC, so I don't have to delete sims and they keep clubs and jobs.

Several of my male sims (see the Cosa Simstra sims in particular) were made with GTA characters as reference material.

Next upload is probably going to be Cash Monet and Diva Roma from the Urbz, so there's a male sim in there at least. I also need to make some new male sims in general yeah. Some might aslo come as part of families, of which I might do a couple when I get around to updating and reuploading some of my sims (like Mikaela, she's had a WIP family for a good long while).

They're in the pipeline but how soon we're getting them is iffy. 

Aside from the teased Cash and Goopie, mrrakkonn has mentioned a desire to grab some sims from Sims2 DS for celebrities. Then there's all the Simkuza members of which I am bullying mrrakkonn into buying the next expansion for the Tokyo world or shoving the code for in his face if that doesn't work. There's also gonna be a bunch of them in the college update. Hopefully we'll get the renowned Jason.

I've been working on (and making pretty good progress!) finishing up my sims based on Cash Monet and Diva Roma from the Urbz, who go together well with the Couture Twins (who I've already made sim versions of). 

 

They were kind of sitting there for a while as I didn't have quite the look I wanted for either of them, but I think I turned a page today and am currentoly at stage where I'm beginning to be quite happy with the both of them. I found a CC pinstripe suit that worked really well for Cash Monet and I made a selective clone of the hair I was using for Diva Roma to add a more purple hair swatch, but which shows up as being a greying black in the catalogue, meaning for other MM hairstyles she'll actually default to having greying black hair, which is what I wanted for her, as I decided to go with her giant weird hairstyle being a wig. 

 

Cash Monet is a 5-star celebrity musician, while Diva Roma (taking from her wiki) is fashionista who manages the twin models Sophie and Babette Couture. Rather than go with with the sort of Cruella Deville look she seems to have had in the concept art (which I couldn't really replicate in any case) I'm more going with a narrative of her being a former model who went into the management side of things (I think midnitetech's model career has a path like that, or it's another career that has it).

I've also decided to the same thing with Diva Roma as I did with "Mom" Landgraab when i made my expanded Landgraab family reimagining, which is to actually put together the young model version of her and probably use that for some story-telling purposes, maybe even some CC posters (and uploaded as an extra when I finish up and upload her and Cash Monet of course). 

 

Keeping the shape of her facial features the same, but dropping the "old age" skin details (that's perhaps putting it harshly, I imagine her to be around 40 or so, so not old, but I did use some wrinkle skin details), picking a different hairstyle, some different makeup and adjusting fat and muscle sliders a bit as well as posture, here's the young model version I'm landing on for her. I think it's looking pretty good.

Yeah, that's probably something that's going to be coming, it was kind of in the eventual pipelien in any case actually. Can't really give a timeframe on it though, but it should be a thing that will come eventually.

Cash Monet

 

Another sim based on a character from the Urbz. Cash Monet in the Urbz is a former rap star, a record producer and impressario with some shady links to organized crime. In my implementation I've left him as still being a rapper (at max rank in midnitetech's musician career), and his backstory makes him a neat connecting point between the Couture twins and organized crime, which in my world would probably mean him having some relations with members of the Alto crime family. 

 

He also makes for a pretty good celebrity townie to add to the game, as that was a thing I wanted to make more of to add to my world going forwards. Cash Monet is a 5-star celebrity, a global superstar, who has completed the fame, wealth and party animal aspirations, giving him the aspiration points to purchase a ton of reward traits. To sort of balance this out he has the High Maintenance custom trait by Kuttoe (linked below), the Insensitive trait from  parenthood and celebrity quirks related to being accustomed to living in the lap of luxury and not interacting with non-famous people. 

 

To reflect his ties to organized crime and some of his life experiences before his success as a musician and entrepreneur, he also has some skill in drug dealing and mischief. 

 

He doesn not have the greatest variety of outfits, you'll notice there's a lot of overlap between the categories, this is mostly deliberate as I wanted to have the pin-striped dress available in most of the clothing categories, and I also liked some of the alternate outfits I put together, making them options for both party and everyday.

Diva Roma

 

 

Another celebrity sim based on a character from the Urbz! Diva Roma is a high-class fashionista who claims to be able to make anyone a star. She is responsible for managing the Couture twins as models and si affiliated with Cash Monet and also rumored to be in bed with shady organized crime elements, like he is. 

 

My version of her is a 4-star celebrity (there seems to be some glitch when viewing her in the library though as she shows up as a 3-star celebrity there, but when I place her in the world, she's at 4-stars still, don't know why) who's at rank 9 of the trend-setter career which inolves creating, discussing and promoting fashions, which seemed appropriate. An appropriate future avenue for her in my world could be to have her own a high-class clothign retail store as well. 

 

   

 

However I've chosen to add a bit of my own backstory to her, in concept art and in her Urbz appearance it seems like Diva Roma kind of has the skeletal Cruella Deville look (it shows in her outfit as well) something I wasn't really able to recreate, and since I instead ended up with what I thought was a pretty attractive and distinctive face for her, I've chosen to give her a backstory where, like the Couture twins she manages, she used to be a highly popular model in her twenties before using her ambition and the connections she had made to make the move into the world of high fashion, into more of a creative and managerial role. 

 

As she went from being a  kind of glamour model to a fashionista she came to gradually move towards much more of an avant-garde high-fashion look for her herslef. Now sporting large purple hair (actually a wig), large sun-glasses and almost never being seen out of various fashionable dresses. Although she's aged since her model days, her look is distinctive enough to still merit her having the Unique Appearance traits. Like Cash Monet she has the Insensitive trait from Parenthood, and also has a number of Wicked Attributes reflecting someone with somewhat libertine views on romance, sex and relationships. Her skills are mostly determined by career requirements from her past model career and her current trend-setter career, so we're talking high social skills, fitness and decent skills in writing, painting and logic among others. 

 

She kind of fits into the same relationship web as noted for Cash Monet above, though it'd also make sense for her to at least be familiar with my other model sims beyond the Couture twins, likely "Mom" Landgraab as well who used to also be a successful model (though she's about 10+ year older) which opens up avenues to knowing members of the Alto family, I could even imagine she'd be familiar with someone like Owen Rockwell in AEP.

Here's an extra treat! It's basically the same deal as when I made "Mom" Landgraab in both present day and young model versions. Tthough with "Mom" I had the young look first and kept it around for storytelling purposes and to not throw away that sim.

Here I made Diva Roma's present-day fashionista appearance first and then when I decided on the model backstory decided to put together a younger version as well for storytelling purposes, then decided I may as well put together and upload her like this as well as the version you see above, because I think both turned out really well and they kind of inform each other in some small details.

 

Though in many ways her style has changed over 20 years there's some holdovers, she still uses the CC tank top and large t-shirt for sleepwear, and while present-day Diva Roma has her big purple hair, young model Diva Roma instead has purple in many of her outfits. The older version of her also shows her having gotten a tattoo design on her back (chinese caligraphy and flowers) to add to the text tattoo ("one of a kind" in simlish) on her left upper chest/shoulderblade and forearm stars that both incarnations of her have. Not much more to say that hasn't been said above, she also of course does not have as many or as highly levelled skills as above, and has fewer reward traits and wicked attributes also. 

 

Anyway, fun to make sims like this where you sort of visually expand a bit on a sim's story by creating different versions of them at different point in their life. 

 

The archive for young Diva Roma does not require the archive for present-day fashionista Diva Roma, they are both standalone, this one also includes some quick build CC objects I threw together because it felt like something that might exists given her having been (or in this case currently being) a popular model, which is several posters featuring her.

Nice! I'll be putting the older version in my world since I already have enough attractive 20-something female sims running around (sooooo many....), but I'm considering making her married, or atleast dating Cash, or Ka$h as I'll re-name him, but downloaded the younger one as well just so she can have posters from her glory days as well.

To take into consideration, in The Urbz he's romantically inclined towards Babette Couture. There's a "quest" in game that has the player involved in a love triangle where the player has to publicly kiss Cash or Babette for publicity.

First off, I just want to say that I love that we live in a world where the Urbz have lore. So kudos. But "Cash Monet" is just too subtle for a modern rapper. That might have been passable in the early 2000's, but it ain't these day. And I say that with great confidence as someone who hasn't actually listened to a rap-song for 20 years, but I have my prejudices and I'm sticking to them.

Well... Diva is poly, so let's not rule out that happening as well... I mean, even if she wasn't, we shouldn't have ruled that out. But to be honest I just plain have a housing crisis in my save and I can't keep giving out houses to single sims so I have started pairing them up more and more. I literarly have every single one (except a couple that has since passed) of mrrakkon's sims living in my world. It's starting to seriously fill up...

I haven't tried it yet, but others have successfully (which is how I learned about the mod).
