5/1/23: UPDATED SHARED CC FOLDER!!

I've added updated versions of some sliders and a new nose slider that I am now using. New sims will almost certainly require that you have these updated sliders or they might not look right, so be sure to get the new Shared CC and make sure you only have the latest version of cmar's sliders and not the previous ones that do not have the same name. 

 

7/4/22: NOTE DELETE THIS FILE IF YOU HAVE IT!

 

So, a massive merged file of some sort made it into the archives for my updated versions of Alexis and Thalia. It's called 

"LUUMIA_skindetail_LipTints.package" 

 

Delete that if you have it, it casues conflicts with 3D eyelashes, making them look all messed up. The archives for Thalia and Alexis have been reuploaded with the file removed (and the CC used from it, which does not cause conflicts on its ownI). 

 

6/6/22: Announcement regarding my tongue piercing accessory and new version of WickedWhims

 

The latest (Patreon) update of WickedWhims killed my tongue piercing accessory due to changing the bones and such of the WW tongue (the rig has been changed in order to implement an animated vagina and anus for future animations, which necessitated these changes to the tongue). Because of that you're best of just deleting that accessory which you will have gotten from various sims who use it. The following packages are the relevant ones to delete

Furthermore, the new tongue does nto align with sims' heights. Though support seems like it will be added to be able to manually adjust the position. But for now for anyone using the height slider I use (or any height slider, this is not connected with WW height slider support) tongues will not align with sims' mouths. 

 

 

NOTE 3/22: The package pbox_liberated-vehicles.package included in some of the old builds is broken and may cause your game to fail to launch if it's in your mods folder after the last update. Removing it fixes the problem. I'm going to reupload the archives with this package removed when I figure out which of them had it. 

 

So, for a good long while I've been uploading sims to this site, in 1s, 2s, 3s and sometimes even 4s or 5s. But I think it's gotten to the point now where it's maybe become a little bit unwieldy, especially when I tend to update some sims and not others in a given pack which means I'll have to wait to upload an updated version until I've done the others or upload the updated version with some new ones.

 

Anyway I figured it was time for a change, so now I'm doing this in one download and uploading sims individually or in a household if it's necessary for family relationships and such, I'll be doing download description pages with CC credits and pictures of the sims' outfits, possibly small bios, like before put I'll put them in posts in this thread and link them in this main description instead. 

 

When I get around to updating sims I've uploaded before I'll probably delete the old file when I put it here. All in the interest in cleaning up things a bit.

This is something I've been working on for a while, which ties into this it's a save game I've set up that incorporates my sims in a world where I've set up the sims with houses, relationships and stories in a certain sense. It's currently very much WIP and does not include all the sims I've uploaded here. But check it out if that sounds like something that interests you!

About Installing

My stuff is all CC included (for the most part, some exceptions listed below), in subfolders inside the .rar (you need winrar or 7zip or something like that to unpack it UPDATE: I'm now doing 7zip archives), so you can take out stuff you don't want, particularly stuff that may cause conflicts (such as the default skin replacements and body replacements). Take the archiveand place it in your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/ folder, or open the archive and take the files from the Tray folder and place them into your own Tray folder and do the same with the Mods folders. 

Don't forget to download the Shared CC folder it includes a bunch of items that I don't include in the individual archives for sims and households but which might be needed (mostly sliders and skin details). 

 

Shared CC (Last updated Apr 8, 2021)

One advantage in setting up a thread like this is that I can provide an archive of CC which is mostly shared between my sims, this is mostly skin and eye replacements, custom CAS sliders and some skin details and such. This is useful in not having to include as much CC in each upload and reducing the resulting filesize a bit. 

NEW 1/31/21: Two additional sliders, hip height/leg length and detailed butt by Dumbaby added to the archive 

NEW 12/14/21: Now includes a new folder called Z_InactiveCustomSliders which currrently includes a single slider from Redhead sims (link in the Shared CC credits below), it's placed in this folder because it conficts with Cmar's breast sliders, in the sense that both are active, but you can only really use one of them in CAS at a time, the one that loads first more precisely, by playing around with folder names I can influence which the game loads first and which I can use in CAS (while both are still active so to speak, understand?). The thing is I've now used it on some sims now, but I don't want it to lock me out of using Cmar's sliders in CAS, so I've put it in this folder which I change the name of whenever I want to actually use it on a sim. For anyone using this, just leave the name as is, you'll get the appearance you should from sims I use it on, but you'll still be able to use Cmar's breast shape sliders.

NEW 12/5/20: Not really Shared CC, but I thought I'd recommend this mod for anyone who uses my sims, I use a number of different custom skintones for my sims, some of which add alot of new swatches to the game and it can make the interface a bit cluttered and presets hard or impossible to view. It's a mod that expands the number of CAS columns so you have more custom swatches without making stuff hard to see.

A note on sliders: Note that all custom sliders add or replace points on the body where you can drag and manipulate your sim face and body shape, for information on how they work see the links to the specific sliders below. Some sliders, including the ones I have, may cause certain glitches from time to time such as vanishing chests and the like (temporary and somewhat easily fixed by travelling and sometimes saving in my experience), you may want to remove them from your game if they cause you trouble and to always make sure that the ones I've included do not conflict with any you might already have.

Tongues

My sims use tongues, for it to work you require a rig replacment that includes tongue bones, such as the standard one to come with WW. Personally I use an accessory one, mostly out of habit, rather than a head replacement with a tongue included. See here for tongue meshes https://www.loverslab.com/topic/85318-test-sims-4-tounge/ 

Update: the Patreon version of WW now includes support for tongues as body parts, so I've switched to that, it shouldn't really impact any of my downloads in anyway (since I wasn't including the tongue meshses in any cases)

 

Height Sliders

I save my sims with a height slider active and use it for pictures, though I don't necessarily use it all the time when playing the game. This is the specific one I use http://modthesims.info/d/588159 (using the standard heighslider2 without shorter teens), it's not supported by WW and it replaces the foot slider. To get the height of my sims I start with the assumption that +0 on the slider is US average male height of about 5'9" or 175cm, with that specific slider then that means that every point about or below +0 means a 0.2% change in the sim's height, I typically have all my sims set in intervals of 12.5/13 to keep it simple for the occasional time when I make pose packs using height sliders. So I've got them set to values like +13/+25/+38 or -13/-25/-38, which is respectively roughly 5'11"/6'0"/6'2" and 5'7"/5'5"/5'3" by my assumption. Anyway enough on that, I have not included the height slider I use in any of the downloads. 

NEW 5/12/20: The above is my old assumption and scaling basis. I'm now using a different scaling based on what I've read by googling around that Sims 4 default height is more like 6ft, so I'm now using the assumption that +0 on the slider is exactly 6'0" and working out the rest from that. Custom Careers

When I make sims and place them in the world I feel like them having an occupation (and skills and traits, but that's another matter) helps give them a bit of personality and role even when you're not playing as them. As a result I typically have my sims be saved and already be at some level in a given occupation. However I often feel like the base game careers don't offer enough variety and doesn't always fit what I have in mind for my sims, so in that case I'll probably look around for a custom career mod to use. 

I'm not going to include these mods in the sim downloads, these are script mods and might frequently require updates and become incompatible with the game when it's patched. However in the case that a sim I've uploaded has a rank in a custom career this will be noted in the description of the sim and there will be a link to the mod in question. If you don't have the career mod installed (either because you don't want or the mod no longer works), sims with custom careers will simply be unemployed when placed in the game and should cause no issues. Currently I'm using a bunch of career mods by Midnitetech, as well as the AEP pornography mod by Ksuihuh

Custom Traits (NEW 7/9/2020)

I've now began adding custom traits that are not from WW or Basemental Drugs to some of my new and updated sims and will continue doing so in the future. Like with the custom careers and other scripting mods I've chosen NOT to include these in the download because it could cause issues, instead I will be linking to the relevant mods in the descriptions for the sims and households who have these.

Language Barriers Mod (NEW November/December 2020)

An optional thing I'm mostly doing for myself is incoroporating the Language Barriers mod for my sims going forwards, so they should all have primary languages and second language skills assigned as I thought appropriate. Using this mod is completely optional and not having it should cause no issues.

UPDATE 6/17/22: The werewolves patch broke many custom sliders and things initially looked pretty grim. However it turned out the issues were relatively simple to fix. The Shared CC folder has therefore been reuploaded with fixed/updated versions of the custom sliders used. You should definitely delete the sliders you previously had from this (do note that the new version of Cmar's sliders have a different name, v3 instead of v2, and take care not to end up with both the new and the old one in your folder) and then extract the contents of this archive to your mods folder. 

 

IF YOU ARE HAVING ISSUES WITH SIMS HAVING PITCH BLACK SKIN

This is most likely because you are missing a custom preset (a couple of the male maxis sims use a custom nose preset), or have conflicting ones, all the ones I have should be included in the Shared CC folder.

Nude Appearances 

For my female sims' nude appearances, I used female body details by wild_guy and Erplederp and Hiroki's better body mods, and also nipple tattoos by .Noir. I also use underboob shadow by crabb. I've decided not to include them, because those first two are often updated and therefore including them in the archives could mess things up for people. Grab them here instead

Update 2/13/22: Changes to Cleavage Details and Breast Meshes 

I've decided to make some changes regarding how I use cleavage overlays for sims as well as mix up some which breast meshes I use for some sims (though most will probably still be using Sopor's Allure), the details of those changes are explained in this post, going forwards I'll list the breast mesh I used for nude appearances for sims I uploaded (either new or updated versions). 

Since many sims will now have accessory cleavage details (the ones with more of a "push up" look) with some outfits, I figured I'd list which packages contain those in case anyone does not want them so you can delete them

UPDATE 1/18/21: I've now started on updating the sims and households that went into the first version of my world. This is mostly about rearranging the mod folder and with December's skintone update and my decision to pivot away from most CC skintones, changing sims' skintones to base game ones or CC ones I decided to keep. McFadden Family

 

 

UPDATED 6/9/21

 

This is one of the oldest families I've made. I've usually had them from be from Willow Creek, though only the parents would still live there, and I might end up putting Jerry and Debra's branch of the family in Strangerville instead of in Willow Creek, but I'm not 100% on this yet.

 

With the new update 6/9/21 I've overhauled the appearance of the parents quite extensively and I've updated them in terms of skills and traits to be in line with other newer sims I've uploaded here. See below for the details of that. 

 

Also check out the house I put together for Jason McFadden, which is where I've usually had him living when I've played him, it's supposed to be in Del Sol Valley, I might change some details of that going forwards though, but for now it's still mostly unchanged. 

 

I've also ended up expanding this family more, because I've been putting together a family for one of my other sims, Samantha and I think the dad I made there sort of looks like Jason's mom Karen (though I might make some further edits to further reinforce this if I think it's necessary) so I think I'm going to make them siblings to add another branch onto this family. That's coming some unspecified time later when I finish that, but here's a picture to illustrate that..

Sabrina Kane

 

Sabrina is an aspiring model who's moved to Del Sol Valley (or you know San Myshuno if you prefer, more lots there). I figure she's originally from some out-of place town (like Strangerville) and sought out a career in modelling after moving from her hometown, starting out on Simstagram (where she has followers set up and is on the way to fame level 1) before landing a job with an agency.

 

She likes to go to concerts and nightclubs with her new friends. She's more prone to fewer close-knit friendships where she can trust that everyone's used to her occasional emotional outbursts and accompanying rudeness or gloominess.  

 

In game she's employed in a custom modeling career (see below for link), her skill levels aren't that high, but with the Unique Appearance and Pretty Girl custom traits, she fits into the career pretty well and her focus would be on advancing in her career and settling into her new home in the city.

Orgy Nightclub Lot

Partly to add a lot to the list of items I've uploaded to this file to kind of round out the first wave so to speak, and also because I recently got some good use out of this lot. I put it together, based on the kind of nightclub locations and sets you'd see in porn films and such, to serve as the location for an autonomous sex party scene I wanted to set up. Setting those up, especially when you have more than 8 sims in your household, requires a bit of work, such as configuring your WW settings, pre-defining sim relationships and putting them into clubs with encouraged and discouraged activities, it's also good to have a lot that's not too big and expansive and which has the right selection and placement of objects for what you want. 

 

So this is kind of that, at least for this scenario, and I got some good use out of it I believe, so I figured I might just as well upload it here, since I've set up this thread  The download includes both the lot, which is an incomplete residential lot that has no exterior and the individual rooms so you can plop it in and edit it to suit your own lot and needs. There's sex autonomy wall signs in the corridor (disabling autonomy for the lot as a whole) and in the main area (enabling it there) in order to make sims not constantly go to the bathrooms to have sex.

And here's a video I put together on this lot. Things were not running autonomously when I put together the video, but I did partly base it on pictures I had taken while running the game autonomously after setting things up. I've posted it in other threads and I think it turned out really well actually

Tongue Piercing Accessory

This is an accessory I made a good while ago and which I've used for several of my sims and uploaded with them. I guess I've never really advertised it though, with the exception of a couple of times when I've encountered threads of people asking about a tongue piercing accessory, in which case I've just uploaded it to the post. So anyway, time to end that and just upload it to this download thread. 

 

    

 

I made it using an old accessory made by Redheadsims as the basis, the original mesh was an accessory of a pierced tongue just hanging out of a sim's mouth. I removed the mouth, enlarged the piercing and attached it to autobanned's tongue mesh so it's an accessory used alongside that. You WILL NEED a tongue mesh, otherwise this will not work and the game won't know what bone to attach the accessory to.

Jason's House

Here's another lot, it's the house I built for Jason McFadden in Del Sol Valley on the Upland Place lot. The exterior is mostly the same, with some small changes like the addition of a fence and somewhat extending the length of the house, the interior is more or less built from scratch. It's meant to be kind of cluttered and dirty, he's not supposed to be living in any kind of luxury, but it is somewhat spacious and good for parties or just hanging out. There's a living room, 2 bedrooms (1 of which is currently unused), a kitchen and a laundry room. There's also plenty of room for further expansion or additions in the fenced-in backyard.

Not really. It's not that I'm not open to potentially doing it, but it'd mean actually having a full save file and I'd have to have uploaded all the households in that save file. It'd be a deal of work to put together, maybe for the future. Mostly I don't really play the game "normally" I mostly just have isolated save files with the locations and sims I need to do what I want at the moment, which is usually just take pictures.

Luna Cadiz

 

 

Luna is a student at UBrite who's cute and outgoing, though a little irresponsible at times, not the best at beign a serious student or worker. She's compassionate and friendly, typically in a very good mood which can be both contagious or a little too much depending on how you see it.

 

Though she's generally nice and positive that doesn't mean she'll go along with anything and eveyone and can be stubborn when she's disagreeing with someone, or just feels she's not being listened to. 

 

Luna is into musical theater, liking singing, acting and dancing, she would proably do well in an arts program.

Goth Family Makeover

 

So here's something I've had brewing for a while but only recently actually took the time to complete. Some months back I made a sim using @IGI 2000's Gina Valentina sim as a basis (lots of small edits, though you should still be able to tell from the eyes and a couple of other things) who I think turned out very well and who I posted a couple of galleries of, but then didn't quite know what to do with, nor did I really finish her. First I figured I'd use her a Cassandra Goth as YA makeover, then I kind of backpedaled for a while until just recently when I used genetics to make, what I think, was a pretty good new version of Bella Goth off her, then proceeded to do makeovers for the rest of the Goth Family using her genetics. So here it is. 

 

As mentioned special thanks goes out to IGI 2000 as I used one of his sims to make the initial sim (Cassandra) who I then used to create everyone else in the family, he said it was okay that I shared her as well back a couple of months ago when I asked him about this. Check out his pornstar sims here. 

 

They're changed around a little bit from their vanilla NPC selves. Everyone's aged up one level, so Mortimer's an elder, Bella is an adult, Cassandra is a young adult and Alexander is a teen.

 

Fitting with Mortimer's renaissance sim aspiration I've essentially skilled him up and had him achieve rank 5/6 in the Scientist, Writer and Business careers. He's currently still in the last one, though maybe he should retire, though he's very close to completing his aspiration. 

Reading on the wiki it seems that back in the older games it was established that Bella had married Mortimer for money, so I switched out her Family Oriented trait for Materialistic, she's completed her initital Party Animal aspiration and now longer works, though she still finds things to do around the house. 

 

  

 

I haven't thought much about what Alexander's story would be, except I made him start with high grades and some musical and writing skills, he also has the Gloomy trait giving the answer to the question from the in game description about whether the Goth children will turn out to be gloomy. 

As for Cassandra she's kind of the result of me essentially having imposed a sim I had already started creating and turned up really happy with onto her, also why she's a young adult now and I aged up everyone. So I guess the basic story is that she developed kind of "bad" or rebellious streak as she got older and got tattoos and piercings and stuff like that. She's now moved out and goes to college and makes money on the side working as a stripper and being a camgirl.

Extra: I added a small extra thing. I'm thinking I may want to have a look at their house at some point in time and figured that in that case I might want to have pictures of the sims in the house taken (or painted) when they were younger.

So I quickly threw together a different version of the household where they haven't been aged up. Mortimer and Bella still have the skills I set for them and their traits and career histories, but I blanked out Cassandra and Alexander. Mortimer and Bella are wearing the same clothes as seen above, while Cassandra and Alexander are wearing their basegame clothes.

So because the file is so small and requires no extra CC I figured I'd throw it up as a download as well, in case anyone else might want this version of the household as well which has the same genetics, but is closer to the base game versions otherwise. So that's what the file "GothBG" (BG for "basegame") is, a curiosity in case anyone wants it  

Note: You have to download the "main" household for this if you want Mortimer and Bella to look like above.

Yeah I'm actually really happy with how he turned out. Using genetics he initially came out looking very much like Freddie Mercury, but I made a number of edits (mostly head width, cheekbones and chin length, and many other smaller ones) based on pictures of him I found on the Sims wikia site. 

 

Also added a minor thing to the download. Detailed above. Basically I'm thinking that having a version of the household around where they are all younger might come in handy if I decide to have a look at their house (which I might) and I want photos or paintings to hang up, so I essentially made that, and it's also kind of a version that's closer to the basegame version of the family as Cassandra and Alexander both both have their basegame outfits. It's just a small file (only tray files) but since it's so small, it wasn't a big deal to put it up for download as well, in case anyone might want that as well.

I went and downloaded a bunch of custom careers from Midnitetech (also it appears AEP has been updated to work with the latest version) https://midnitetech.tumblr.com/careers, so I updated all the sims and households to now have occupations where I didn't really have any base game careers to put them into. Just a small update, but it's good for flavor I think and if you just place the sims in your world as NPCs it gives them a bit more of an identity. 

 

I have not included the mod files in the downloads, but in the descriptions of the sims I've provided a link to the custom career in question if they have one so you can download it. If you then place the updated household in your game they will be employed in this career (otherwise they'll just be unemployed). 

 

Also for those wanting this but not keen on downloading the large .zip files with all the mods again, here's just the tray files.

Next I'm probably going to work on uploading updated versions of some sims I have previously uploaded, probably Hadya, Tracy, Alexis, as well as Thalia  and probably a lot or two related to those. If anyone wants I'll upload Thalia with her family I made for her a while back (but haven't really had her interact with alot the few times I've played the game as her lately, distance and all).

 

 

If there's any interest in me doing more townie makeovers in the future I could get behind that as well. Making over the Goth family actually was a lot of fun and turned out really well I think. 

 

 

 

Also, @blackblu08 I've given a bit more thought to your suggestion of uploading a full save file and I think that I've come around to the idea after all. BUT it will have to wait until I've uploaded and updated a bunch more households, sims and lots, so that when I eventually put it together everything that's required in terms of CC will also be available from this thread.

Thalia Jordan is another one of my favorites of yours so I wouldn't mind seeing her uploaded with her family if you're inclined to. I'd also be interested in seeing what you can do with Don Lothario and the Calientes since their personalities actually fit quite well with your work, if you know what I mean ?. While we're on the topic, do you still intend on giving Linnie a sister?

It wouldn't be a problem so I'll do it when I get to it. And I could definitely have a look at Don Lothario and the Calientes after I get done finishing up and uploading the sims I mentioned. 

 

As for Linnie's sister, I updated her download to include her sister back before I made this thread. I just didn't get to create a proper new download description for both of them, so I just stuck the outfit previews in a reply instead. Thinking I won't update it, since I'll eventually just include an updated version of both of them (together with the rest of the family) in this one eventually and deleting the separate download page and thread for Linnie.
