I agree, I appreciate that Lithia made the basics work again but the rest can wait until RL calms down a bit.

Still works fine in 3.0, the trait names are just formatted a bit different than vanilla ones, which could be the issue.  for a list of all traits a leader can have along with their IDs, you can use "add_trait_leader leaderid" with no trait ID.  So for example add_trait_leader 0 would show everything your starting ruler can get.

 

LV traits tend to be formatted leader_trait_job_lv_name so for example leader_trait_scientist_lv_sadistic or leader_trait_ruler_lv_seductive.

So now that we have gotten our hands on "Dick", what do people think? Was this the "Dick" we were craving? Are there any parts of "Dick" that we can take and make our own here on Loverslab? I personally really love "Dick" and hope the modding community starts using their imaginations when it comes to new and exciting mods... for "Dic".

In all seriousness I think there are some interesting systems in this update and wanted to get peoples ideas to see if Loverslab mods can make use of them either in lustful void or as separate mods.

 

For instance:

- Galactic community/Caretaker: How about some lewd community proposals? Making tentacle blockers be a protected species like the space wales? Encouraging the galactic slave trade? Free migration treaties? I think there could be some creative space here. As Emperor you could enact a galactic haram from all the member species?

 

- Become the crisis: Would it be possible to reuse this UI for something non-genocidal? Accruing points for making hybrids or having a diverse number of species in your empire. Make the lewder aspects of the mods into a kind of minigame where you can gain benefits at different tiers for doing lewd things in the game. Final tier would not be galactic annihilation obviously but I could see you winning by breeding out all other species until only you remain?

There's really nothing here that should stop a creative individual from modding the hell out of this, I just haven't found all of the component sections yet.

 

For anyone interested in playing around with the menace, the files I've located so far are located at:

Become the Crisis Perk:  common\ascension_perks\00_ascension_perks.txt

I haven't really looked into the art assets and interface stuff yet, but I don't anticipate that part being overly hard if all we're looking at is colour and icon swaps.

 

Each crisis level has associated perks and an event that triggers from it, and each level after the first has a prerequisite event.  These are located in the various event txt files.

Crisis objectives are the ways you earn points, and defines the number of points received.  The actual events that match this are located in nemesis_crisis_menace_objective_events.txt  Both new/modified events would need to be created and coordinated with matching updates in the crisis objectives.

 

From what I've looked at, you absolutely can use this to do something non-genocidal.  The perks associated with the menace level are pretty normal empire modifiers, so they can easily be changed from things like 5x purge speed to subject acceptance instead, or where ever else the desire takes you.

 

The number of events and asset updates that would be needed would make it a pretty major project though.

I've noticed since the start of Dick that the Tentacle Symbiosis technology no longer provides any breeding jobs. The other things that provide breeder jobs (brood parasite, all female synergy, etc) all still work and provide jobs as normal, but tentacle blockers do not. I have tried everything from spiritualist to xenophile, and I've been playing with only LV on, so it isn't a matter of conflicting mods. Any ideas or is it something that's getting fixed and I'm just being hasty about it by bringing it up here?

Actually, it's a rare instance when the name of the patch befits the quality. The fanboys were craving for this patch with closed eyes and open mouths, expecting that Paradox would put candy there. Not this time, fellas. This time the fanboys got treated to a very different flavour. They did figure out that something was wrong only after that patch was brutally thrusted right in. They still pretended to enjoy it. Have you been on the Paradox forums? They have a button "Respectfully disagree". Because if you disagree without the "respectfully" part, someone might have a heart attack.

 

The gaming community has been asking Paradox to fix the growing lag that was problematic starting in mid-game. Paradox should have fixed it by optimising the game engine via use of more CPU cores. But that would require a lot of time and money to completly rebuild the engine, which is irrational for a game that has exhausted most of its resource. Have you noticed that the DLC did not even get as much coverage on the main Steam page like the previous DLCs? Instead, they broke the population growth. No population growth, no extra lag. Why is the empire not growing? Just because, don't ask questions, hand over the money.

 

The second thing is the negligence towards the quality of the DLC. They didn't even bother to make decent new ship designs and structures, reusing the old assets.

 

All in all, it could mean that they will start working on Stellaris 2 in the near future, hopefully using a much better and optimised engine.

Yes, that will be nice. Good example; enforce on whole Galaxy your "levd" practices, custom or rituals.

 

It also could be a Succubus thing, when other races becomes your "slaves", annihilation is not the only goal in wining, especially when PDX introduced Necroids;).

 

 

Edit: Btw, Im looking for "Elves of Stellaris Portraits LV Patch", and can't find it on download list. Is there build on compatibility, or its no longer supported/developed ?

Hey this is a cool idea, I've always wanted to see sex/romance in Stellaris whether organic or not and also with player specific stuff, and it's hard for me to imagine most societies of the far future not having sex work. Also, if you actually figured out how to get around the binary gender system for organic non-fungoid/plantoid pops, I'd be impressed, I tried to look at building a mod that has gender neutrality as the base and then randomly assigns pronouns to leaders but couldn't get it to work, and that doesn't do everything I want to do, which includes having appearance options not distinguished by base anatomy, but I'm a little intimidated by the possibility of all the stuff you have not being optional*, including graphic content (erotica suffices for me, that's not to say that I don't like to look at stuff, but I'm picky). Does your mod have a config or optional install (I didn't see instructions for that so I presume that wasn't the intention)? If not I might try editing it myself for personal use, but I'd probably have to learn exactly how your mod works to do it without breaking it. Thanks so much for reading this, and hope all is well what with the pandemic and all

*Nothing against the other stuff you have in your mod, it's just not for me, I'm very picky, i.e. I want sex/romance/ace queer/trans/nonbinary content that feels realistic and can be erotic and kinky but isn't a fantastic/comedic exaggeration, and again, I don't expect you to make that, this is a mod, it's just something I wish for from games generally, it disappoints me that deeply queer grand strategy game or rpgs centered around off the binary/trans aliens aren't really a thing. That's not something you or I can easily change if we wanted to and I'm not expecting that, just curious if your mod is easily customizable ❤️

Since 3.0, when playing as a hivemind, you can build a brothel for some reason, and your drones can be escorts, but apparently not whores. The position is there, but it just can't be filled. Bug or feature? Likely a bug, because in 2.8 drones could be whores, but still...

No, it's definitely not that. Sex Cows, both normal and exotic, are Worker strata, and those jobs do get filled, like the screen shows. It has to be something about the job itself or something working with it, but I wasn't able to pinpoint the problem.

It's just a misunderstanding, sorry if I took the wrong words (german here ;)), it was just some general comment, that "I" would like to see those jobs in the same manner as the other drones. But, IIRC, the normal strata for enslaved non-drones is livestock, right? They are also worker strata, even when you play with drones?

I think milk cows consumer goods production should maybe be nerfed a bit.
Also the goverrnor trait that gives 10% slave production AND 25% milk cow production is pretty insane, the milk cow % should maybe be nerfed to like 15% or something.

Hello everyone !

I have a little problem here and I need some help, please.
So actually, the mod works since I can see the origins, the traits of my characters, dairy and sex buildings and the lewd advisor. But I don't have any LV event who pop up, except the sexbot event. I used Better Cheats to activate the "Anomaly Generation" (pop up event), but I still only see the vanilla events on every planets (and the sexbot event). I can trigger the LV events only with the console.
I tried to modify the options of the mod from the ingame menu, tried to reinstall, checked my mod order, nothing change.
It happened to me before the last DLC update. So it's not because of that.
Did I mess something with the installation ?

Not sure if this has been answered or not, but I can't seem to get Parallel Evolution, Sadomasochistic Evolution, or Symbiotic Evolution to work. My empire spawns with only the primary species. Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a fix?

I had the same problem recently, another of your mods must be overwriting the file "start_of_game_effects"
go to the folder "lusful void"> "common"> "scripted_effects"
rename "lv_start_of_game_effects" to "zzzz_lv_start_of_game_effects"
that worked for me
