Actually, it's a rare instance when the name of the patch befits the quality. The fanboys were craving for this patch with closed eyes and open mouths, expecting that Paradox would put candy there. Not this time, fellas. This time the fanboys got treated to a very different flavour. They did figure out that something was wrong only after that patch was brutally thrusted right in. They still pretended to enjoy it. Have you been on the Paradox forums? They have a button "Respectfully disagree". Because if you disagree without the "respectfully" part, someone might have a heart attack. The gaming community has been asking Paradox to fix the growing lag that was problematic starting in mid-game. Paradox should have fixed it by optimising the game engine via use of more CPU cores. But that would require a lot of time and money to completly rebuild the engine, which is irrational for a game that has exhausted most of its resource. Have you noticed that the DLC did not even get as much coverage on the main Steam page like the previous DLCs? Instead, they broke the population growth. No population growth, no extra lag. Why is the empire not growing? Just because, don't ask questions, hand over the money. The second thing is the negligence towards the quality of the DLC. They didn't even bother to make decent new ship designs and structures, reusing the old assets. All in all, it could mean that they will start working on Stellaris 2 in the near future, hopefully using a much better and optimised engine. 2

Also, if you actually figured out how to get around the binary gender system for organic non-fungoid/plantoid pops, I'd be impressed, I tried to look at building a mod that has gender neutrality as the base and then randomly assigns pronouns to leaders but couldn't get it to work, and that doesn't do everything I want to do, which includes having appearance options not distinguished by base anatomy, but I'm a little intimidated by the possibility of all the stuff you have not being optional*, including graphic content (erotica suffices for me, that's not to say that I don't like to look at stuff, but I'm picky). Does your mod have a config or optional install (I didn't see instructions for that so I presume that wasn't the intention)? If not I might try editing it myself for personal use, but I'd probably have to learn exactly how your mod works to do it without breaking it. The position is there, but it just can't be filled. Bug or feature? Likely a bug, because in 2.8 drones could be whores, but still...

No, it's definitely not that. Sex Cows, both normal and exotic, are Worker strata, and those jobs do get filled, like the screen shows. It has to be something about the job itself or something working with it, but I wasn't able to pinpoint the problem.

It's just a misunderstanding, sorry if I took the wrong words (german here ;)), it was just some general comment, that "I" would like to see those jobs in the same manner as the other drones. But, IIRC, the normal strata for enslaved non-drones is livestock, right? They are also worker strata, even when you play with drones?

So actually, the mod works since I can see the origins, the traits of my characters, dairy and sex buildings and the lewd advisor. But I don't have any LV event who pop up, except the sexbot event. I used Better Cheats to activate the "Anomaly Generation" (pop up event), but I still only see the vanilla events on every planets (and the sexbot event). I can trigger the LV events only with the console. I tried to modify the options of the mod from the ingame menu, tried to reinstall, checked my mod order, nothing change. It happened to me before the last DLC update. So it's not because of that. Did I mess something with the installation ? Thank you !

Well, there is a way to get a Perfect Hybrid in-game, but you can't make it happen. If you leave the Bio Hybrids system active, every now and then any of your planets with more than one species on it will create a new species. This is random, doesn't happen that often, and the new species usually sucks. But every time one new hybrid is made, it has a one-percent chance of being a Psionic Perfect Hybrid. So it's entirely possible to go an entire game with Bio Hybrids turned on and not see one Perfect Hybrid turn up. The alternate method is to open /Lustful Void/common/traits/lv_species_traits.txt in a text editor, do a search for trait_lv_perfect_hybrid (it's down at line 2023), and change the 'initial = no' into 'initial = yes'. Then you can create a Perfect Hybrid in the initial empire creation system. You could also change 'modification = no' to 'modification = yes' if you prefer to pick it up later in a run, but that opens it up for the AI to use, not recommended. 1

Neri Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 PSA: If you get a crash on the new 3.0.3 non beta patch it is not because of LV! It's the dynamic overhaul that crashes the game. Either wait till they update it or use the beta addon in your mod lineup. 2

I got it to work by removing the Forgotten Queens mod, even though the patch notes say that the mods should be compatible. I've no idea why it happens.

It was inspired by a leader trait called 'Sex Trophy Collector' in the All You Need Is Loving mod (which sadly hasn't been updated since 2.8.1). Civic: Harem Traditions Required Ethics: Xenophile, Militarist and/or Authoritarian Required Authority: Imperial (and maybe Dictatorial?) Banned Ethics: Pacifist, Xenophobe and Egalitarian Your Ruler automatically gains a unique trait upon becoming Ruler called 'Harem Collector.' This trait's bonuses starts off kinda of meh tier, but is replaced with better versions of it the more their harem grows. Their harem grows when the following happens: You have an owned leader with some variation of the Lustful Body trait (or anything similar). One of your fleets defeats another fleet with an Admiral with some kind of sexy trait. You conquer a planet with a species and/or governor with some kind of sexy trait. You win a war against another country whose leader has some kind of sexy trait. Your ruler gains the Sexbot Companion trait. Naturally, these should be accompanied by events telling you it happened. Every so often, another random flavor event can trigger giving a random bonus (or malus), based on things going on with the harem. 1

Seeing how many bugs and various issues have been addressed and fixed since the start, it almost feels like i am being ungrateful for bringing this up, but i noticed something funny that was probably unintentional? I started a civilization with parallel evolution, and made both of them female only. And right at the start, i got the female synergy event, with one breeder job added. Nice to see my cat- and puppygirls getting along, but i have the sneaking suspicion that they would still need actual males for this to work as intended.
Henoninheaven Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 So I've been having this issue where my species profile photo appears over all the Lustful Void events. I've tried clean install, deleting the cache, reinstalling lustful void, the only thing I've noticed is rolling back to a much earlier save but replaying an in game decade is a lot. I'd settle for a booleg solution where I just make my pop invisible. But I really would love some help.
