I'm halfway through a playthrough, but I think I'm going to try it out over AllGUD for my next one. No. I tried it with guard replacer disabled and still no pants. It's some weird tomfuckery going, that's for sure. What's so weird about it is that there doesn't seem to be anything in the compendium mod that could even affect player equipment or textures. At least, nothing I can see. As for immersive equipment displays, I've been on the fence with that one. I don't like the idea of wearing EVERYTHING you have at once. That seems, excessive to say the least. It looks like it's potentially configurable but, it's not a priority for me atm. If you do give it a shot, lemme know. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on it. Seems like it's at least easier to setup than Allgud.

Not that I remember which sound mod exactly it was and the reasoning for it just that it wasn't an easy fix either. Simply moving ISC and letting remodeled armor overwrite probably won't do. You most likely have to merge changes into a seperate compability mod. @wollboi Unicorns are just anorexic rhinos!

I don't know if moving it solves all the problems (haven't gotten my current mod list to the point where I can start playing it yet), but moving the compendium esp solves the pants problem for the moment at least. I'm hoping that once I do start playing this current list, if it continues to cause problems, it'll cause the game to crash, and crash logger will spit out something that I can look at to try and figure out what's going on. I don't have the time/energy/sanity right now, but I may also down the road crack open compendium in the CE to try and figure out what it's doing, but that'll be some time after my current work order is completed.

Madigan- Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Does anyone know what I need to change to affect the distance in which the grass is drawn? I've tried changing the grass settings in the Skryim.ini and also the ini that comes with Kyne's Grass but neither seem to change anything? Screenshot:

I guess they must have updated USSEP at some point to play nice with with survival mode then. Should require less work to get running then. Might give it a try once I figure out all the bleeping bleeping bleep armor replacer issues.

Screenshot: Eh, you really need to place images in a spoiler section... As for your problem, I'm looking into a similar issue with my FO4 builds. Not sure what the root cause of it yet, but it's either an issue with the LODs themselves, or a loading/memory issue with the system itself. Try redoing your LODs with slightly lower settings to see if it makes a difference. Otherwise, check the pages for your grass mods to see if there are any .ini settings for grass that need to be added that you might have missed.

I've found the solution (although cannot get it work for me yet) - it was in the Final Stages - the mod No Grass In Objects, which was a complicated step so I skipped. I've since installed it, plus the 2nd file which you drop into MO2 \plugins but when I run it it runs Skyrim and is supposed to cache the grasses although when I open the console it doesnt seem to be doing anything. I started watching a video yesterday, which said it needed SEE Engine Fixes which I noticed i only installed Part 1 of, there is a Part 2 where you drop 3 files manually into your Skyrim folder but when I did that the game stopped working with the following error Then I was busy with other stuff will continue looking into over the weekend.

"Version library error: File not found" but are you on the AE version or the original SE (unupdated) Spoiler this is the last update before AE 1.6 or better and you cannot use netframework or any mod that uses it. here's a reddit thread about it. 1

Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated for AE yet. It's one of the last few of the more major mods not to get updated for AE at this point. Just disable it and the grass mod in question and you should be fine. Once .net script framework is updated, you can add it back in to the mix. 1

I think other people have had the same issue. Well, it's been an interesting odyssey trying to get this working, but I think I got the bugs worked out. You were right about guard armor replacer, but it also wasn't the only one. Guard armor replacer was being weird with some of the armors, but simply realistic armor was also screwing up the textures on some of the armors as well (you might notice a texture bug in the screenshots I originally posted). And of course, immersive sound compendium removing pants for some reason...

IDK what the AE version of skyrim is doing, but it's really pulling some real tomfuckery with the armor replacers. I'm getting to the point where i'm about to nuke all the nordwar mods cause the damn things are not overwriting like they should be...

Look like you want to take a look at the bash batch to see how it's handling armor replacer. Could be some mods also messing with guards.

Could be some mods also messing with guards. That's just it, this is happening BEFORE I generate the bash patch. The armor replacers are not collapsing/overwriting like it should be. Aside from the three I mentioned before, I also had to remove the new legion mod because it was also not being overwritten like it should have been, like it was being pre-AE. Some of these conflicts are also not showing up in the mod information either, which is why it took so much longer to get this bleep working than it should have. Eh, like I said, some very strange tomfuckery going on.

For some reason, nordwar's replacer mods are overriding other weapon and armor mods, and is not appearing in the conflicts or data sections of MO2. Just spent the morning trying to figure out what was overriding the nordic bow mesh. In the data and the conflicts, the mod Draugr upgrades and improvements was showing as the winner for the nordic bow mesh, but when the game loads, the mesh from NordwarUA's Vanilla Armor Replacers SSE is what the game ends up displaying. Same thing with my earlier armor woes. Can anyone else verify that nordwar's mods are no showing up in potential conflicts or the data tab?

If the replacement is done via records it doesn't need to overwrite assets (meshes, textures), so you won't see file conflicts. The plugin from that mod is pointing its own assets instead of the default ones (you can check this in xEdit>Armor>world models or something alike). Edited March 21, 2022 by Just Don't
