Interesting. The bloody mods are still behaving differently though, compared to how it ran in SE. Makes me wonder what other mods are not overwriting correctly in the list.

I haven't encountered any problems with the two in AE as of yet. Sleep tight just overrides the go to bed behavior, so as long as you don't specify any sleepwear for NPCs in go to bed, there shouldn't be a problem. That being said, I have not really gotten into go to bed just yet, on account of other issues I am currently looking into/testing.

 

On a side note, I am finding the new version of go to bed not very agreeable, either because I don't like the new system for sleep wear, or I just haven't fully figured it out yet...

Turns out the sleepwear only functions when you add sleepwear to NPC via CK. May as well not add it after all.

So, I've come back to this mod list multiple times as it's an excellent collection of mods to spend weeks of my life implementing before I stop playing the game and barely used what I've implemented.

 

I've run into a problem with the defeat baka edition mod in the loverslab section. defeatwhy.jpg.2c2745a1e0a0a5f85bb933378439a8d4.jpg

It can't be shown directly but no matter how much I wait after clicking change page I can only stay on this first consensual page (and I'm not even entirely sure how to do consensual with defeat regardless). The bug that is ALSO happening that is shown in the picture is that if I click to edit tags instead of opening a menu it just directly adds .BEHIND every time I click. Does anyone know what's happening here? Everything else in this modlist is working fine for me except for this one mod.

Huh, that does not surprise me for some reason. If it weren't for AE, I'd probably go back to the old version of go to bed.

Not yet, but that might change in the future now that AE gives access to all the CC content. I expect that the CC-related mod content will increase in some small capacity as time goes on.

Finally going back to defeat after playing with the naked defeat mod for a bit. Are you using SE or AE? Also, have you run FNIS and Nemesis, and activated animations through the SL anim loader?

Yeh I'm working with SE as most mods still seem to be weird with AE. I've definitely ran FNIS and have animations in SL loaded up. I can have sex and defeat works fine I just can't change the page or edit the tags. I honestly have no clue why it's happening but I also know it happened to me when I had significantly less mods last time. I have realized I haven't set up nemesis so if it is as simple as turning nemesis on I guess I'm going to need to figure out how that works. Last I looked it up it looked sort of complex and annoying though.

Neh, if FNIS ran fine Nemesis is redundant for testing purposes.

 

Based on the picture, it seems like the mod is making bad call of some sort, trying to find something but not even coming up empty. Haven't really dived into baka defeat yet, but I did get it up and running, and even with no animations loaded, the window should still come up, albeit blank. 

 

Out of curiosity, are you still running an SE version of Defeat and sexlab? Unsure if the January version of defeat is AE or SE, but it works fine on AE.

 

Nemesis is no actually that complex:

 

You install it like FNIS

disable it then run FNIS

pack FNIS' contents into archive and

load that archive into MO2 as a mod,

disable FNIS

enable and run Nemesis (make sure you run nemesis through MO2 like FNIS)

pack the files generated into archive (don't forget the esp if there's one)

load it into MO2 as a mod

make sure it's running

and bob's your uncle 

 

 

The current version of Nemesis is actually a lot more stable to use than older ones. Just need to pay attention to which patches you tick on. As for AE in general most stuff has been converted/upgraded to it now, with the exception of net script framework, which I think is the only major one still yet to be updated. A few older mods probably won't get updated given that their authors have moved on, but there are alternatives, and I suspect a few will eventually be reborn or updated by someone else. Time will tell. And then there's a few mods (*cough* Nordwar*cough*) that technically work in AE, but doing so in a rather wonky way,..

So far, building an all new Skyrim SE setup (latest non AE build) since my old game was so out of date even though it's still playable. 

My biggest issues were: 

Chicken legs in my PC's due to CBBBv4  I don't get why legs are so damn thin with that mod, so I yanked that mod out for vanilla Curvy CBBBE.  The sliders won't let me go far enough to thicken the lower legs and knees.  Cluck. Cluck Cluck. 

Apropos 2...they didn't exactly highlight that hotfix to eliminate the JContainers popup. It was on Page 4 of the Apropos 2. With that being such an issue after four years, why wasn't it on the first page in the original post or even updated after 4 years for SE? 

I went with CBPC since I'm more familar with it.  I did have HDT in my old Skyrim (not SE) build but I've gotten used to CBPC so I'm staying with it. 

I had a base save game installed at different points throughout the build as insurance.   The only thing I haven't installed is DCL as it's a MAJOR script hog..not sure how it'd affect starting a new game..possibly CTD'ing it.  

High Poly Head is amazing. honestly. 

Prior to installing ZAZ Ver 8 and Sexlab Framework, my FNIS was at 68%.  Afterwards, it was right on 100%

CBBBv4?   Install CBBE SE and overwrite with CBBE 3BAv2 instead.   It give you some compatibility with assets that do not have a bodyslide 3BA version, yet.  3BA has a good CBPC setup with the option to combine with SMP without conflict. It needs latest CBPC and may have issues with outdated cbpc config files, available in Nexus, recommend to not override unless you know is no issue.    Try the extra 3BA sliders, they are very good.

    • AnimationLoadSignedCrash (default: true) - Fix an improper unsigned/signed conversion. Should allow loading more animations before a CTD. If you use Animation Limit Crash Fix SSE I suggest disabling this to use that mod's fix instead.
  • If the above is installed, use FNIS Behavior SE 7_6 XXL
    • 2020/02/18
      FNIS Behavior 7.6 SE, SE XXL, and VR XXL
    • Recognize newest XPMSE skeleton bones (126/156) for XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended - XPMSSE Version 4.60 and above
    • Allow future SSE skeleton versions to be recognized without the need of FNIS changes (based on skeleton.xml provided by mod)
    • Increase animation number for FNIS XXL to 32.000
    • Fixed a bug that prevented the PSCD patch
    • Reduced output about Load CTD Calculation (see Note)
    • Creature Pack: fix exit animation event names (capitalization, FrostBiteSpider + Mudcrab)

I think they are referring to the zero up to about 75 weight looks like a model on a starvation diet when looking at the calves not just breast and ass.

I did indeed install CBBE 3BAv2.  That's where I got the chicken legs and in general my PC was on the thin side which I don't like.    I was following the guide on the first page and for the most part it's worked for me.  I wanted to use Demoniac skin because it's a great one but I'm not sure how it works with CBBE 3BAv2 as I'm not sure as to the order of installing it all.    And are there any bodyslide presets that were used in the screenshots?  I like my PC to be thick, but not extremely so...more along the side of "pleasantly plump in all the right places"

I think that was the issue. How do I fix that? Although my PC was set to 100 weight.  I still got the chicken legs appearance with CBBE 3BAv2,  and she was much thinner than I expected..which annoyed me to no end.

Those are not mine, they are part of the mod page on Nexus. 

 

In CBPC, to make an exact collision, you need to customize collision setting according to your body.

Check:


In SMP, to make an exact collision, you need to build collision meshes in bodyslide using the same preset as the body.

  • Select and build "CBBE 3BBB Amazing SMP Object - Player or NPC A, B, C, and D cup" in the Body Slide.
  • The cups mean is breast physics strength. D cup shakes the most. A cup shakes the smallest.
  • Use the MCM to select equip on body slot and hotkey. Recommend slot60 and I use "numpad +" as hotkey.
  • Hit hotkey to switch between CBPC and SMP on demand.  SMP option is selected during mod installation and has many options for performance.

My opinion.

I removed that mod, because while it was enabled, the game got more than usual sporadic freeze during cell to cell loading.

I think the scripts need refinement because of Skyrim inherent issues with always running scripts referencing data that gets unloaded.

 

From Conditional Expressions compatibility:

You mean the ankles?  It follows the morph range of the separate feets mesh.  It also a "reversed" slider and the lower the value the wider the morph, but it was created long ago for low poly bodies, and it look bad at high range on high poly.  That slider was created as a seams fix and not for "chicken leg" fix. 

 

Set the slider to "1000%" and you get the real chicken legs look.  ?.   Use negative to expand and try on the feet too, but it gets ugly.

 

Same with the wrist and separate hands mesh,  What that be? Big male hand on female body issue.  ?

 

You need to fix it on the feets mesh first and then copy it to the connecting section on the body mesh.  Then to fix the probable clipping with boots, it needs to be copied to the boots too.  That 3d model design, and I do not have that knowledge or skill.

Thanks, I was wondering if we have chosen specific options in the newest 3BA that reflects the changes from the first pages  (@Aylis gave us the install choices from a few iterations of 3BA ago).  Do you have your options for install that reflects the best overall settings for the newer install?

I use 3BA default light effects CBPC with SMP breast and toned down the settings for pushup breast using armor/clothes.

Thanks, yeah I ususally go in this order and Improved, Lite 2, Realistic, Don't Add, Add More, Don't Add, Muscular (small bounce + weight), Don't Install Vagina Physics.  I'm trying out the gravity settings options since I already have built bodyslides that actually change between Nude, Clothes, Cleavage, and Armored.

Anyway..finished up my reinstall of my Skyrim SE so I'm saving copies of the game and the mod manager to a USB stick since the rebuild was on my older computer which I use for such things for transferring onto my main computer.  I also finetuned my PC's body so she looks great now especially with High Poly Head.  I'll post a screenshot of her once I get her out of the CCAS starting dungeon.

I'll have to stress test it by playing it to make sure there's no issues.  At least I won't have to do the start all over again as I installed Alternate Start - Live Another Life with CCAS installed.
