Everyone is hetero:

RJW does not affect that look at your romance mod and make sure you selected it as your RJW sexuality source in Sex settings.

No but then make sure that RJW is actually using the vanilla spread as a source 

And know that in vanilla straights are most common

I've tried multiple times with even combination I could think of and the results are it 100% breaks mediation.

Thanks for the reply. But it be nice if that had been mentioned somewhere. Since it totally breaks tribal and I've spend three full days trying to figure out why no one was growing anima grass. I'll just have to save edit then.

old versions are linked in the "Changelogs & old Versions" and the final RJW versions for each Rimworld version are also on Gitgud

for whatever reason downloading psychology setting it up and then removing psychology and resetting the settings fixed it....

Anyone know how to attach new rjw bodyparts to my colonists? For the life of me i can't figure out how to do so. I have the parts and medicine but it just keeps saying that "Needs Material" tag even though I clearly have it

I am using this exclusively to combine it with an insect race mod and become a parasitic swarm of abominations.

tl;dr "Idontusesexmodsfortheirintendedpurpose" would be a more accurate username for me.

I don't get what issue people have with prepare carefully and this mod honestly. I use it and the generated colonists have always been fine, but I don't use prepare carefully to add the body parts or anything. 

 

I had a guest visit my colony from a mod race and it was missing genitals so I just added them via dev mode and she can breed fine now too, so worst case scenario Hydrak, just use dev mode and add the genital manually

I noticed in a previous update, something called "sexprops" was added. Anyone have any insight?
 

Okay I think I figured it out myself. My version of RJW Animation Framework needed updating, and haven't gotten this error since updating. Hoping I fixed it.

Having an issue while trying to do a tyrranid/devouring swarm kinda playthrough using this and the Mantodeans mod. After about day three of the colony, all of my mantodean pawns start falling over, dropping all their stuff, and going into egg-related labor, despite the them all being female and none of them engaging with each other. From that point on it starts happening once or twice a day to every pawn, and kills the colony shortly. Is this something I fucked up with mod incompatibility, or is it something I can fix?

RJW Egg system needs to be remade.
it does not fit very well with most insect races.

I'm glad that someone else was also having this issue. I thought it was really weird that it was happening because my understanding was that the insect would hold the egg until it gets fertilized or is deposited. I tried messing with sterilizing them and even removing their ovipositor but they'd still all give birth. When your Mantodeans give birth does it display "eggdead" or something weird like that in the top left corner as well?

 

It sucks because I was wanting to do an insect hive that's workers are expendable because the queen can just breed some more if need be. I tried seeing if I could cheese it by having all the workers being male but it appears that Mantodeans are female only from what I can tell, which is accurate and all for insect hives but is none the less annoying. Come to think of it, it makes me wish there was an option for eggs to just instantly be fertilized without needing a male to also come by and fertilizing the egg.

So I have a small issue, that being the cum just isn't working for my colony like it splatters on the ground just fine but colonists always just have the "Little" tag and it never goes above that level.

Eggdead pops up every time, yeah. I assumed it was because the eggs are technically unfertilized and thus miscarried. Shame it makes it so that they just disappear, it would be nice to be compensated with some food if my colonists are gonna fall over every day.

You dont either try to tame an insect with both genders and mate with the female 1st then the male so the eggs can get fertilize or send one of ur prisoner/colonist to a nest nearby and press the prostrate button so she will get downed and the insects should rape her a dozen times and when they are sleeping(the insects) rescue them and u should have a pawn with eggs now 

Do note that u nid bestiality to be turned on on the settings for this to work

 

this is what I do all the time if I plan to make a insect taming grounds since the insects will be born passive(for the most part) yo can do this very early aslong as u keep those natural spawning hives alive until u have atleast one of each gender of the insects then after that u just nid to set one of ur pawn to be a breeder and the insects should just go to her

beware thought too many eggs can incapacitate ur pawn so your basically downing 1 pawn for a long time when u do this so make sure u got enough man power to counter this.

 

This is also a good way to feed alot of animals since 1 pawn can hold up to 200 eggs I think thats a lot of insect meat so u can breed other animals aswell like wargs for example they dont eat kibble but having a unlimited supply of insect meat can pretty much solve the issue having a TON of wargs in base
