I found a workaround solution for the bound armor CTD's using the immunity list.

 

The CTD's only come from two sources, unequipping the summoned armor pieces by script during breaking, creating the new bound broken piece for the bound helmet/dropping the bound helmet manually from inventory (it has a ground model so not sure why).

 

It's a bit tricky to get the them on the immunity list in game:

 

1. Use the bound armor spell twice 2 as the first instance will despawn once MWA touches it. It'll work the second time.

2. Use your console to find the ID's for the armor and type in the "player.removeitem XXXXXXXX 1" command for a piece. (but do not execute).

3.  Add the item to the immunity list and then quickly remove it from your inventory with the console.

4. MWA will spawn another copy (with immunity) which the bound armor spell should despawn once the spell expires. If not, remove it using the console again.

 

A lot of the issues seem to come from how the bound armor is coded, though and I ain't touching that mess.

I wouldn't say totally fucked. But it can help with the fucking. Particularly due to nakedness.

Omgz, the equipment breaking madness has begun.

Everything seems to be made in china or from a 1 cent shop ?

 

Did I see that right?

Enemy NPC's weapons break too?

I'm not sure why, but they do a loot of fistfights now or start to undress at inappropriate moments (moments that include fighting trolls) ?

Mmm, no. Npcs stuff is only changed when they die. Change to very low durability.

Oh and tempering. Get stuff tempered. Fast.

NPC's weren't affected => confirmation bias!

They just run out of SP and arrows against the unleveled troll they encountered... what a massacre ?

I could not help right after LAL with only broken stuff and unfitting armor lol

Better them than me I guess.

 

This is really a challenge!

On first sight MWA is rather frustrating, piles of dead bodies and nothing to wear.

Run thru 3 swords in the first encounter and had to find a hiding place just to change boots lol

 

But I blame myself, I thought your default settings where user friendly and made them a bit harder. ?

Talking about shooting an arrow in the own knee. ?

(if the bow works that is)

 

So after fine tuning I get a feeling for the mod. Seems not to slow anything down so far.

I was just adapting to SLS  and was still working on tactics, now I can start all over again :O

This will be a hard one!

 

Also great job on making cheating harder, like => just grab the favored shiny and thight FEMALE armor via additem and be surprised that they are now all male and too big lol

hey it's rubber, it stretches! ?

Would just give a bulge instead of a cameltoe ?

 

Even my cheaty auto crossbow jammed and became schity >.<

Yes! that bear had a great timing, was already puzzled how you made him do it.

The clip is sooo good, I download it and watch it to calm me down, if I broke my game now after all those "updates"

just curious:

if I build equipment myself,

should I get a fitting outfit in mint condition or CTD?

(was a custom armor so no alarm yet)

 

tempering:

trying to make some clothes fitting to my PC and repair them, not sure where I do that or what is needed

 

are most repair/tempering options not yet integrated and I need for everything a blacksmith?

 

I just thought I cheat and grab a fully furnished HF home and repair the base equipment.

Not going so well ^^

Newly crafted items (assuming they are made on a standard work bench aka any vanilla crafting asset) should be the right size. Durability I think can vary based on an MCM setting

 

CTD usually happens on custom armor because of a lack of a ground nif. A mesh to represent the object when it is dropped on the ground.

 

Tempering is supposed to refit (if you set it in the MCM) but that is currently broken.

That Custom Armor has no ground nif

Armors can have a ground nif and still cause a CTD btw. Something to do with the mesh. 

In those cases I normally just swap it for leather boots or something.

Soooo... I'll post this in the right forum :) 

 

Regarding the issue with MWA seeming to destroy my armor and weapons with incredible efficiency, I checked the degradation rates I have set in my MCM.

 

According to the MCM, with my current settings, it should take 50 normal hits to do a single point of damage to armor, and 200 to damage a weapon.

 

What I actually see, and I tested this on a dagger with 5 remaining durability...

 

Each strike I make with the dagger did around 2 points of durability damage, and the dagger broke after three strikes.

These were not power attacks, just ordinary ones.

 

Armor was being destroyed at a similar rate, taking multiple points of durability per hit - so a 23 durability helmet was taking maybe eight hits before breaking or something like that.

 

 

This doesn't match with what is in the MCM at all.

I'm also getting the damage over time, though that isn't anywhere near as excessively amplified.

I don't have Requiem, and MWA knows this.

 

I turned everything down to absolute minimum damage, and also turned off the multiple hits feature (which was set to 3, I think) so each hit against armor is really only one hit.

I also turned down power attacks so they only do x5 normal.

 

I meant to post this last night, but didn't have time, so my memory may be fuzzy about some exact numbers, but the strikes I made with the dagger and its remaining durability before I made them are exact.
