Something a player could use to gauge if it is likely "too soon", and notice for when when they've exceeded the max possible time (so removal would be guaranteed). It could also make wearing the belt a bit more fun and remind you of it being on regularly (in more ways that in already does), and be another option where you could shape the player's opinions of Laura a bit more directly (through the wording of the notifications). I'm thinking the notifications would essentially let you be aware when you've passed the minimum time passed, and then increments of the difference between minimum and maximum time passed, and finally let you know that you've passed the max possible time and it would be 100% safe to ask for release. They could be set to print every 24 hours or so, and each "level" could have multiple versions with similar tone, and it would be up to the player to interpret the lines as to if it would be worth a trip to Laura's to ask for release. They could be themed as the PC's thoughts on her situation, and her trying to gauge how long Laura may want her to wear the belt. Some brainstorm ideas below as to what these might look like: Min time passed: "I know it hasn't been that long... but maybe Laura only wanted a short session? I'm already feeling a bit pent up...." 50% of the way between min and max: "I'm starting to get a bit desperate here.... I know it is risky, but perhaps I could ask..." 85% of the way to max: "It's been so long, surely time is up? She wouldn't want me to endure longer, would she?" 100% of the max: "There's no way Laura won't let me out, I've been such a good girl... I should visit her soon." So you'd not really know if you had waited long enough most of the time (even at 85%, you might have gotten unlucky and rolled a 95/100 and be too early), but if you wait until your character is "certain" it has been long enough you will be guaranteed to get the belt off. If the PC is engaged in this type of play with Laura, I feel she probably has some insight into Laura's personality and how long the "maximum" belt time would be. I also think it would be a bit odd for Laura to send a courier letting the player know time is up - I think it would be more likely that she'd assume the player is enjoying the belt and doesn't want it off, and that's why they haven't asked yet. That could work, but I don't think that I'll add hints. Implementing something like this also means that I have to redo how the timer works. Right now, there is no actual timer script running. The days needed is calculated when you start the quest and the current day is saved. It will only check when you talk to her by comparing the started day and the days needed. I can't add notifications without using a timer script that runs in the background. 18 hours ago, HexBolt8 said: This makes sense to me. Why would Laura go to the trouble to send a courier to track you down if you're having such a good time? I like Reesewow's suggestions for notifications. They're not giving anything away, just helping you track the time. A suggestion for 25% might be "It's killing me knowing I could ask for release any time now. It's all I can think about. Should I? Maybe I should wait a little longer, I can do it." The point of a bondage game is not knowing when to ask, with the frustration in knowing that the safer you play it, the longer you probably stayed locked up needlessly. If you wait until the max duration, you can be sure to get a smirk from Laura as she unlocks you, suggesting that you stayed locked up days longer than you had to. Of course she'll never tell you what the real duration was, just part of the fun, and she'll assume that no matter what you say you secretly enjoyed it since you chose to go so long. Actions speak louder than words. It's really up to the player. Set the min and max for the experience you want, a lot of guessing or a little. I like the idea of giving her different responses depending on how long you wore it. That would be fun. 17 hours ago, llokii70 said: Yes but not knowing at all is part of the mindf*&k. The would be fun Spoiler I must confess I love games with "character" variables that can be shifted by player actions... especially in the most cruel form when they contradict each other or come with a downside. E.g. "reading a book" enhances intelligence but slightly lowers physical stamina. 1 hour ago, Laura 'Lokomootje' said: I can't add notifications without using a timer script that runs in the background. So we would need a certain event that triggers the computation ? Letting my mind float a bit Spoiler I imagine the PC in frustation, wanting the belt away but afraid to ask. We could use some self-thinking notifications here Now, we invent a "proxy" Something like an oracle or a certain shrine? A ghost? A prayer? Making use of the campfire mod and looking into the flames? This is the activator for the computation, hidden behind some message box. Though it would need a cost to prevent abuse. E.g. something like a sacrifice? An expensive one! If the time is still running, nothing happens at all. If the sacrifice was not enough, nothing happens. If the time is done AND the sacrifice was good enough, we add another random timer (the difficulty or the value of the sacifice sets the random range) and THEN the courier is triggered. The current computation method can stay in place. We just add another path to let the PC know. A mysterious path All that would mean a bunch of work but it might add some spooky flavor if we get it right. I'm thinking along the lines of "The player believes/plays to have some control, when in fact the whole thing adds just another level of uncertainty until the message is received." Take it as another gimmick 1 hour ago, Laura 'Lokomootje' said: I like the idea of giving her different responses depending on how long you wore it. That would be fun. ? Flavor! AbyssalReClass Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Hello all, first time poster. I recently picked up this mod and played around with it, and I really like it. Though I've got some thoughts on the What she deserves quest. It seems to me that once everything plays out in the cage, Laura and Katarina are quite unapologetic about what happened. The only thing that keeps the player from being enslaved is Laura deciding you should probably get some food. I would consider not checking the identity of someone you are about to ship off to someone who they know will degrade, humiliate, and mistreat them to be a pretty major screw-up, and the PC very well could (and rightfully so) completely destroy their reputation and their business, especially if the PC has already been given the title of Thane of Whiterun (which I imagine many will have). At the end of that quest and as the story continues, Laura and Katarina should be doing everything in their power to make it up to the player and rebuild the trust that the player would have lost for them. Perhaps they could start with an offer of the existing reward (750 gold), and the player would have the option of declining the gold and brushing it off, calling them out and demanding more, or just denouncing them and leaving the store (in which case if they come back later on they'd apologize again and asking what the player wants from them). Potential player demands could range from something like a substantial amount of gold (With Laura and/or Katarina having to wear a belt with a plug until it is paid, a nice role reversal for more dominant PCs), a permanent discount on goods and services (perhaps having restraints the player gets into unlocked for free or something similar), taking Katarina with you as a follower, or even the player taking ownership of the pair and by extension, the store (this would give the player a cut of the profits in the form of a small passive income, follower services from Katarina, and the ability to do sessions with Laura). They would accept the small or medium payback options without much or any argument, but at this stage the larger ones would take some convincing. If more branching options are developed for the story line and the PC does happen to get shipped off by mistake and has to escape, then Laura and Katarina would obviously would be horrified by the outcome when the PC makes it back and would be more willing to accept the larger payback options without needing to be coaxed as much. Anyway, that's just my thoughts, I very much look forward to the next update and seeing how the story continues. Edit: spelling and formatting 4

twsnider1138 Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 Hi Laura, glad to hear the holiday was fun. I have a request regarding the inflatable plugs, assuming you’re the creator of course. Is it possible to either tone down the power of the blasted things or be able to actually deflate it? I was talking to the Greybeards at zero arousal and ended up having to force masturbation like three times before they were done. And that was with only like three squeezes beforehand. Between it’s arousal rate, it’s tendency to “accidentally” inflate, and the inabilty to deflate it, it really is kind of a game breaker. Thank you very kindly.

Try asking in the DDi thread. I can't help you, sorry.

shadowwolf2k7 Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 got an idea you might like. if the player buys any items from laura she could ask the player "would you like help with putting those on?" and the player would have the option to say yes, which will have the item equipped, or no which the item will be put into the inventory as normal. if the player is gagged she could say, "i see that you are having fun wearing items, lets go a head and add these new items as well" the player could say yes (a nod) or no (shakes head) and the items would be equipped or placed in the inventory.

I really like that idea, but I have no clue how to do that yet. I'll probably have to check the player's inventory before the trade, save what kind and how many devices the player has and then compare that after the trade is over. I think I have to use an array for that and I have no clue how those work.

Might not be the best/effective way but you could to try something like this: Add a script to the alias of the player (tip check the MCM menu playerref script) In the script add the following: OnItemAdded function to check what was bought (filter the akSourceContainer to Laura to avoid false inputs) You can add the items to a custom formlist instead of an array. Be sure to filter out any non dd-items like gold etc. DCUR also does this in the prison quest, so you could check the source scripts as reference. (StoreWornDevices and RestoreWornDevices are of intrest here) So it's possible I think but not that easy 1
llokii70 Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Good Morning Laura, I follow your thread and am very interested in playing this mod. In fact I was the one who a file back first told you about the conversion. My question and I haven't tried the mod yet for this very reason is: Should Laura's bondage shop only be played after you have the majority of your Skyrim game played through. Not sure how much it affects the main games progression or your character progression or do I finish my playthrough and start another game later and add laura's bondage shop. Also and I read the description before and will read it again after this but generally speaking I have quite a few things loaded now like angrims, sisterhood of Mara, Devious Followers, Devious Helpless, CD, and Lola. There are a couple others besides those does LBS generally play nice with other DD, SL mods, BDSM mods loaded. Like I said I will reread the description but wondering if there were any gotcha's you're aware of. And of course there is always the idea of being able to go back to an earlier save.
llokii70 Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Also no DCL loaded yet (hope to in the future) and uninstalled Devious Framework due to way too many random CTD's it was causing
